Halloween Mummy Pizza

We have so much fun with our Halloween Food Crafts, that we had to make more! This Mummy Pizza is perfect for dinner this Halloween. It is fun for the kids and still enjoyable for mom and dad. We make this one and the Pizza Spider Webs before trick or treating.

Halloween Mummy Pizza

Yields: 8 pizzas
Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 12-15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

1 can of biscuits (8 count)
1 14 oz. jar of pizza sauce
16 sliced black olives
8 mozzarella sticks

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Open the can of biscuits and place one onto a large baking sheet. Using your hands, press the biscuit into a flat circle. Repeat this process with the remainder of biscuits.
Spoon 2-3 Tablespoons of pizza sauce onto each flat circle of biscuit dough. Add two sliced black olives to each pizza near the top center to create mummy eyes.
Using a sharp knife, cut a mozzarella stick into long, thin slices – varying in length and size. You could also simply pull the string cheese apart for a “stringier” look. Use one mozzarella stick per pizza.
Once each mummy pizza has all toppings, place them into the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.

Instructions

Halloween Witch Hat Cupcakes

We have so much fun with our Halloween Food Crafts, that we had to make more! These With Hat Cupcakes don’t have to be for the kitchen expert. They are made with a box of chocolate cake mix and rather the fun is in the design. A typical box mix makes 18-24 cupcakes making this recipe perfect for a classroom or Halloween Party. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Dark Chocolate Fudge Cupcake Mix (eggs, water, oil)
Creamy vanilla “purple” frosting (or make your own with food coloring)
Yellow Icing with a Flat Tip
Wilton Green Icing with a Small Round Tip
Black Cupcake Liner
Decorating Bag
Large Star Decorating Tip
Chocolate Waffle Cones (we found OREO brand in our store)

Halloween Witch Hat Cupcakes

Print Recipe

Ingredients

Dark Chocolate Fudge Cupcake Mix (eggs, water, oil)
Creamy vanilla “purple” frosting (or make your own with food coloring)
Yellow Icing with a Flat Tip
Wilton Green Icing with a Small Round Tip
Black Cupcake Liner
Decorating Bag
Large Star Decorating Tip
Chocolate Waffle Cones (we found OREO brand in our store)

Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

Preheat your oven and line a cupcake pan with your black cupcake liners.
Prepare your cake mix as directed on the box and fill your cupcake liners up halfway with your batter.
Bake as directed on box then let your cupcakes cool.
Cut the tip off your decorating bag and place your large star tip inside the bag.
Place your bag inside a tall glass/cup, fold the edges over the top of the glass/cup, and fill with your purple frosting.
Take the bag out of your glass/cup and twist the top of the bag (you can secure with a twisty tie if you’d like but not necessary.)
Place the tip onto the outside edge of your cupcake, apply pressure to the center of the bag, and frost in a swirl pattern till you get to the center of the cupcake, then quickly let off the pressure.
Break 1/5 of the cone off the top opening and gently press the cone pointy side up onto the frosting.
Use your yellow frosting with the flat tip and frost a flat line of frosting around the base of the waffle cone.
Now draw a square buckle on top of the yellow flat line

Mexican Stuffed Halloween Pumpkin Peppers

We have so much fun with our Halloween Food Crafts, that we had to make more! Most recently, take a look at this Halloween Dinner Entree – Mexican Stuffed Halloween Pumpkin Peppers with chicken, black beans and rice.

Mexican Chicken Ingredients:

2 Raw chicken breasts
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic salt with parsley
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies (Rotel is great!)

Mexican Chicken Directions:

Place your chicken in the bottom of your slow cooker.
Sprinkle your cumin, salt, chili powder, and pepper on top of your chicken.
Pour your can of tomatoes on top of your chicken.
Cook on high for 4-6 hours.
Shred your chicken and place it back into the tomato sauce (Rotel).

2 Cups Mexican rice
2 Shredded Mexican Chicken Mixture (above)
1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 Can black beans, rinsed and drained

Stuffed Peppers Directions:

Wash and dry peppers, slice off the tops and hollow out the inside with a spoon.
Use a small knife to cut out a Jack-o-Lantern face.
In a large bowl, mix the Mexican rice, shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, and black beans together.
Fill each pepper with the chicken and rice mixture.
Top your peppers off with a little extra cheese.
Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes until the cheese has melted and peppers have slightly softened
