Are you kids wanting to get a letter to the big guy himself? This printable Letter to Santa Template is perfect! Use this letter to Santa template to print and get in the mail!

Letter to Santa Printable

Kids of all ages still believe in the magic of Christmas. There’s no denying that the desire to write a letter to Santa truly never goes away. This is why this letter to Santa template PDF is the best! It fills in all the details that aren’t fun for the kids to write and leave the space for them to customize it as they see fit!

Will they admit to Santa that they’ve been a bit naughty this year or are they going to hold firm to their truth that they’ve been good? This Christmas letter to Santa template is great to print out for all the kids to complete on their own!

You can print out this letter to Santa template in black and white to save on ink or full color – totally up to you. Hand it out to the kids and have them start the writing process. More than likely, they know exactly what they want to write to Santa and will be done before you know it!

Silly Ways To Talk about the Naughty and Nice List

Santa Naughty or Nice List

The holidays are always a ton of fun but some kids might actually be a bit confused about if they’re on the naughty or the Santa’s nice list. To help them feel better, why not have a conversation?

Kids know what it’s like to be nice and how to be nice, but the word “naughty” might make them feel a bit anxious or stressed. Letting them know what Santa knows that all kids are good kids is important and that sometimes, kids being “naughty” means that they’re just being part of a fun joke that Santa likes to talk about each year.

This is a great way to have the younger kids not feel as though they’re “bad” or are being punished but helps them to realize that being “good” is something that really should be the focus for the whole year long instead.

Keep the explanation simple and light and merry and help them know that no matter what list they’re on for the holidays, they’re perfect in your eyes!

Are you looking for a gluten-free recipe that everyone in the family will love? These Veggie Loaded Chickpea Nuggets are the BEST. Since this recipe makes 30 veggie nuggets, there is more than plenty to go around. Plus, it’s the perfect way to load up the kids with extra veggies, too!

how to make Veggie Loaded Chickpea Nuggets

We crave new and fun foods in our house. Maybe we’re a family of foodies, or maybe we just like to try new and exciting things. I really like this easy nugget recipe because the main ingredient is chickpeas and the kids literally have no idea.

It’s not that I’m trying to trick them, but let’s be honest. Getting the kids to eat more food with veggies is probably a daily struggle for most of us. Thankfully there are recipes like this Chickpea Nuggets that make this one less battle to have to fight.

Once the kids gobble them all down, it’s up to you to tell them that they’re just ate simple gluten-free chickpea nuggets. I say some things are just better left unsaid! Make sure to check out my Gluten-free Thanksgiving Recipes for even more yummy options.

How do you get rid of excess water from the shredded zucchini?

You’ll be amazed at how much water zucchini holds! Once you shred the zucchini, you need to get rid of as much of the water as possible. For this baking hack, I typically placed shredded zucchini in a paper towel give it a good squeeze and drain it out, which gets rid of a lot of it quickly.

What dipping sauces go well with chickpea nuggets?

This is all up to you and your dipping preferences! If you want a dip, get that sauce. Just be sure that whatever dip you’re using is gluten-free as well.

Some dips that people use include:

  • ketchup
  • ranch
  • hot mustard
  • salsa
  • honey mustard

And those are just a few. You can even make a combination dip of all your favorite flavors or eat it without a dip and enjoy them as is.

Tips for Making these Chickpea Nuggets

Even though this recipe is pretty simple to do, there is one tip to keep in mind as you’re making it.

The mixture is going to be wet and sticky, so be sure to wet your hands down if it’s sticking to your hands while you’re forming them. This will make it less sticky and easier to handle.

Gluten-Free Veggie Nuggets

I think that you’ll find that once you make this simple nugget recipe, you’re going to put it on your meal planning radar asap to have it again.

18 Games to Play Outdoors

18 Backyard Games Everyone Will Love

Use these outdoor games as an exciting family outing or event that will have everyone in stitches and having a total blast!

TV Freeze Tag

This is like freeze tag but with the added twist of adding in TV shows. If you get frozen, you can be “thawed” but you have to be tagged by someone who yells out their favorite TV show at the same time.

Supplies needed: none

Steal the Bacon

This game is meant for two teams to split up with an object in the middle. Once the object is put in the middle, everyone is given a number. Once the number is called, the two people on opposite teams run and try to grab the “bacon” in the middle. The one who gets it wins that round for their team.

Supplies needed: object, possible team colors

Butts Up

This is all about having a wall and a ball. The players take turns tossing the ball off the wall and catching it – but there are things that have to happen if that ball isn’t caught! Great game for exercise, teamwork, and concentration.

Supplies needed: ball

Pass the Water

Have everyone line up, holding a cup. The first person’s cup is full of water and once “go” happens, the race is on to see how fast the water can be dumped backward over the person’s head into the cup next in line.

Supplies needed: water, cups

3 Flies Up

It’s all about working on those pop flies! There is a thrower and a catcher and points that can really add up fast!

Supplies needed: gloves, ball

Sardines

This is the backward version of hide-and-seek. If the seeker finds the hidden person, they join them and continue on with the game.

Supplies needed: none

Pickle

Think of this as something similar to the game of chicken. There are throwers and catchers and runners in between trying to get to the base. If they’re hit with the ball, they’re out!

Supplies needed: ball, gloves

Hula Hoop Pass

Grab a hula hoop, hold hands, and see if you can get the hula hoop moving up and down the line of players. The first time to get the hula hoop down the line while staying on the arms, wins!

Supplies needed: hula hoop

Spud

This is all about catching and releasing! One person throws the ball in the air and screams someone’s name. That person has to come forward and catch the ball and yell “SPUD” at the same time.

Supplies needed: ball

Kick the Can

This game of hide-and-seek starts with the seeker kicking the can. Once reached 100, the can gets set up and the seeker seeks. Everyone has to try to make it back to the can to kick it without getting tagged!

Supplies needed: can

Egg Spoon Relay

Who can carry the raw egg up and down the yard the fastest? The kicker? It has to be on a spoon! This is a super funny relay race!

Supplies needed: spoons, eggs

Scavenger Hunt

TRUTH OR DARE BALLOON BURST

Think of this as a combination of truth or dare and musical chairs. Fill balloons with truth or dare questions and then fill them up with air. MURDER IN THE DARK CARDS

All you need is a deck of cards. Leave only the numbered cards in the pile, plus 1 ace and 1 face card. That’s it. Have everyone draw a card. The one who gets the ace card is the detective and the one who gets the face card is the murderer. The detective reveals themselves but no one else does.

As no one is looking, the murderer has to wink at their latest victim in which that person quietly goes “out” and puts down their card. It’s up to the detective only to figure out who is needing to be charged with the crime.
