Omit those scavenger hunt riddles and add only the clues you have. Once your scavenger hunt clues are numbered in order, begin to lay them around your home for the proper locations. Save the first clue to give it to the scavenger hunt player.

You can also do this Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt as a Christmas Eve Tradition or Last Night Elf on the Shelf Idea Departure Idea.

Elf on the Shelf Christmas Tradition
Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas Tradition. The tradition has a book and a Scout Elf doll. The book is poetic and in rhyme shares the purpose of the Elf’s visits looking for boys and girls that are naughty and nice. Each Thanksgiving, your frailly elf returns until Christmas Even. Scout Elf returns from the North Pole each evening and can be found in a new Elf location in the house in the money. It is important, the Elf is not touched each evening or his Christmas magic will be lost! Each family is able to name their special elf. An Elf’s Story can also be found on DVD
