1. Treasure hunt –  Set up a treasure hunt for your guests, complete with clues and hidden treasures. This is perfect for keeping kids entertained and engaged throughout the party. The treasure can vary according to the age group. A few ideas that would work for kids include chocolate coins, play jewels, eye patches, and pirate hats. Older guests will enjoy finding treasures such as mini rum bottles, gift cards, or silly pirate costume items.

2. Pin the patch on the pirate – This classic party game is always a hit with kids and adults alike. Print out a large picture of a pirate (or find one online) and cut out patches for each guest. Blindfold each player and have them try to pin the patch in the right spot.

3. Walk the plank – This game is perfect for older guests. Create a makeshift plank out of some sturdy wood or a large piece of cardboard. Mark off a starting point and an endpoint, and see how far your guests can make it without falling off. One fun idea is to add your plank over a kiddie pool.

4. Balloon swords – This duel is a perfect game for kids of all ages. Blow up some balloons and give each player a sword made out of a balloon. The first player to pop their opponent’s balloon while sword fighting, wins!

However, if you are on the search for cheap food for a teenage party, buying pizza, drinks, and lots of candy and chips is likely enough. You might have fun adding in some cute birthday party foods that might involve a little more effort. Pass the Orange

pass the orange teen party game

This is a classic party game with a twist. All you need is an orange and a group of willing participants. The goal of the game is to keep the orange from hitting the ground. You can do this by passing it around, but you can only use your chin. The first team to drop the orange loses. This game causes you to get extra close… kind of like spin the bottle close only without kissing! This contest might not be best for a church youth group!

How to Play: For this game, split players into two teams. Get an orange and sit everyone in a circle, or stand in a line. The game is simple: you need to put the orange under the chin of the first person, who must then pass it to the next person and place it under their chin, without using hands. First team to finish, wins.

Supplies: Oranges.

Donuts on a String

donuts on a string teen party game

This kids game is sure to bring out the laughter. You’ll need some donuts and string for this one. The object of the game is to eat the donut without using your hands. The first person to finish their donut wins! Prizes include extra donuts or just the declaration of being the winner!

How to Play: Tie the string on the donuts (one for each guest) and hang them from a clothes line, curtain rod or anything that is available. Each player stands beneath a single donut. On the mark of ‘go’ the players begin to eat their donuts using only their mouth. The first player to finish their doughnut wins.

Supplies: Donuts, string, something to hang from.

Lawn Twister

lawn twister game idea for teens

This is a classic game with a twist. All you need is some spray paint, an open space, and maybe a tarp. Play the game everyone loves, but outside! This game is tons of fun and brings back the childhood nostalgia. You can twist it up by adding some shaving cream to each circle. Try not to slip! Now this is one of those teenage party fun games everyone will love!

How to Play: Use spray paint to paint the various circles needed to play the popular lawn Twister game. You can use the twister board from the board game or just have caller who calls out various commands. If you have enough space inside, you can spread a piece of tarp and paint the colored circles on a piece of tarp.

Supplies: Twister mat, twister board, tarp, spray paint.

Marshmallow Pong

how to play marshmallow pong game for teens

This is a take on beer pong, but non-alcoholic. You’ll need some plastic cups and instead of ping pong balls, use marshmallows. The goal is to bounce the marshmallow into the other team’s cup. If they catch it, you get a point.

How to Play: This fun teen game is played like adult beer pong, only teen-friendly, with marshmallows. Line Six cups in a pyramid or triangle shape on opposite sides of a table/area. Each team takes turn throwing a marshmallow into the other team’s cups. Once a marshmallow lands in a cup, the cup is taken away and the opponent then eats contents of the cup (if not dirty.) There is no winner. Everyone is a winner for eating the prize – marshmallows.

Supplies: Plastic cups, marshmallows.

Worm Pie

minute to win it pie game for teens

If you love a good 60 second game, this one is it. It also makes the best photos for a teen party. Get ready to get messy trying to hunt the gummy worms lost deep in the whipped cream pie.

How to Play: Give each player a pie tin filled with whipped cream and ten hidden gummy worms. With their hands behind their back, players have to try to find the all the gummy worms in the pie taking the gummy worm out and placing it in a bowl beside their pie tin. Fastest player to find all ten worms, wins. If times, the highest number of worms retrieved in the set time is the winner.

Supplies: Pie tins, gummy worms, whipped cream, bowls.

Balloon Truth or Dare

truth or dare balloon game for kids

What teenager doesn’t love a good game of truth or dare?  This game has a twist as it includes a balloon game. Pop the balloon and do the truth or dare. Add one balloon at a time or all the balloons at once.

How to Play: Fill balloons with fun truth or dare questions before inflating them. While everyone is dancing toss a balloon in the group to bounce around. When the music stops whoever last touched the balloon must pop it and complete the task. Afterward start the music again and throw another balloon into the group.

Take a look at these easy drinking game ideas for adults.

Fun Drinking Ideas

If you are looking for some common drinking game ideas, take a look at these fun ideas for adult parties.

Drunk Jenga

drunk jenga drinking game

Jenga is a classic game that’s perfect for a night of drinking. For Jenga drinking game block ideas, write down different tasks on each block before you build your tower and start playing. If you pull out a block with a task, you have to complete the task. Not all Jenga blocks need tasks but they can have them. Example ideas include

  • Guys drink
  • Girls drink
  • No one drink for 3 minutes
  • Take a group photo
  • Skip your next turn
  • Beards drink
  • You can no longer take pieces from the center of the rows
  • Rock paper scissors with the person to your left – loser drinks
  • Compliment someone
  • Reverse direction

You will need a Hasbro Jenga Game to do this idea.

Never Have I Ever

never have I ever drinking game

This is always a fun game to play when alcohol is involved. Players take turns making statements about things they’ve never done. If anyone in the group has done what you said, they drink. For example never have I ever statements include

  • Never have I ever been arrested.
  • Never have I ever stolen anything
  • Never have I ever called an ex when drunk
  • Never have I ever skinny dipped
  • Never have I ever cheated on someone
  • Never have I ever been on TV
  • Never have I ever lied about my age
  • Never have I ever spied on my neighbors
  • Never have I ever had more than one date in a day
  • Never have I ever forged my parents signature

Truth or Drink

truth or drink drinking game

Similar to truth or dare, only with alcohol. This is a fun do or drink game that gets everyone involved. To play, each person writes down 10 dares on small pieces of paper. Fold them up and put them in a hat. Players take turns drawing a dare from the hat and either completing the dare or taking a drink. Examples drinking game questions include…

  • Who are you most jealous of?
  • How much money is in your bank account?
  • Are you where you want to be in life?
  • What’s the longest you’ve gone without a shower?
  • Who broke up your last relationship?
  • What was your most embarrassing moment?
  • What’s the wildest thing you’ve ever done?
  • If you had 24 hours to live, what would you do?
  • What’s the last thing you searched on your phone?
  • Have you pretended to be sick to get out of plans?

The more outrageous the dares, the better!

What are some fun Drinking Games?

When you’re a college student, few things can compare to the excitement of a 21st birthday. And doing a few rounds of drinking games is always a blast. You’re finally turning the big 2-1, so it’s time to get the party started! These drinking games are perfect for your 21st birthday… or really any birthday beyond 21. They’re easy to play, don’t require too much setup and are sure to get everyone laughing.

fun drinking games for adults at a 21st birthday party

When putting these adult drinking ideas together we had a few ideas in mind… MAKE IT LOW-COST and MAKE IT UNIQUE! SO that is just want this is. Fun and unique party games that stray away from the tradition. Plus these drinking party games for adults won’t break the bank allowing you to spend money other places…like alcohol.

Best of all, you can easily adapt if you do not drink. The games are fun and silly and can easily be substituted with a non-alcoholic beverage… you promise the laughter will still ensue.

I’m Going to a Bar

To play this game, all you need is a group of people and some alcohol. Start by going around the circle and each person says, “I’m going to a bar and I’m going to buy…” then what drink they’re going to buy.

The next person does the same but adds their adult beverage to the list. Each person takes a turn as it goes around the circle. If you forget one of the drinks, you’re out.

The catch is, you can’t say the same drink twice. So, if someone says they’re going to buy a vodka and cranberry, the next person can’t say they’re buying a vodka and cranberry. The player is out. The last person left is the winner!

Cup Swap

To play this game, you need at least 4 people, cups, and some spoons. The players will hurry to scoop the cocktail into an empty cup using a spoon before the timer runs out. Whatever is left after the 1 minute timer goes off, they drink.

Prosecco Pong

This is a classic drinking game with a fun 21st birthday twist! You’ll need ping pong balls, enough cups to set up in the shape of a triangle for both teams, and prosecco. Teams take turns bouncing their ping pong ball into the other team’s pyramid of cups. Once the ball lands in a cup, the prosecco is drunk by the team who’s cup it landed in. The first team to eliminate all of the other team’s cups wins!

Adapt with beer or a non-drinking game option is to use empty cups and marshmallows as ping-pong balls.

Flip it or Sip it

Using a coin, players will take turns flipping the coin and calling out what side they think it will land on. If they’re right, the other player drinks. If they’re wrong, they drink. Simple as that!

Junk in the Trunk

In this fun minute to win it game, fill an empty tissue box with ping-pong balls. The fun doesn’t end there. Tie that box around a players waist and see if they can get all the balls out of the box in one minute. Might be fun to blast the tunes to Taylor Swift’s Shake it Off!

Defy Gravity

This balloon game see how long you can keep 3, 4, 5 balloons in there air. The participant that keeps the balloons up the longest is the winner. Keep adding balloons as you go.

Roll-On Buddy

This is a fun and silly game. It causes your guests to get on the floor. So if you are the host, make sure to give it a good cleaning before your guests and birthday guy or gal arrive. Players will roll an egg across the floor without using their hands. Noses only!

Medusa

In this traditional drinking game, Jell-O shots are a must! All the players get in a circle and look down. When they look up, you must make eye contact with a player. If you make eye contact with the same player who made eye contact with you, you yell “Medusa” and take a shot. Play until the shots are all gone.

Donut on a String

This fun kids game is even more fun when played with adults… and maybe a little alcohol. Tie donuts to a string and see if you can get your donut eaten the fastest. No hands!

Straight Face

Definitely add this game closer to the end of the night. It will be even harder to keep a straight face. In this verbal drinking game, everyone writes down a phrase on a piece of paper. It can be ridiculous, inappropriate or just outright silly. The player will draw a phrase from the pile and attempt to say the phrase without smiling, giggling or laughing.

Pass the Orange

This fun ice breaker game causes you to get up close and personal. Split players into two teams. Line up all players within the team. Starting with the first player, players must pass an orange on down the line. The trick is, the orange must be under your neck and no hands can be used. I hope you don’t prefer your personal space!

Donuts & Cocktail Sticks

If you thought the donut game on ta string was fun, try this fun activity. Pass donuts on down a line using cocktail sticks. Similar to pass the orange only adding a few other game supplies. See if your team can beat the opposing team in time.

Titanic

What did the Titanic do, sink! In this fun beer game, place an empty shot glass on top of beer sot hat it floats. Slowly add liquor into the shot glass. When the shot glass sinks, the player drinks it. This creates a DIY Irish Car Bomb and might be best played with Irish whiskey, Baileys Irish cream and Guinness.

Worm Search

This messy game brings you to childhood but is really fun! Hide a gummy worm (or more) in a whipped cream pie. On the start of go, players search their whipped cream pie and pull out gummy worms one by one. The player that gets the most in time, wins. Laughter guaranteed.

Bite the Bag

How low can you go? View this game as a twist on the limbo. Don’t worry, there’s no pole dancing in this fun activity. Start with a brown paper bag. The first round is easy. Players must bend over and pick it up with their mouth. Slowly cut the bag back and do the same thing – bend over and pick up the bag with your mouth. Continue the bag game and cut the bag back each round. See who can go the lowest when the brown bag is extra short.

Two Truths & A Lie

In this classic game, you share a little bit about yourself. It’s a great ice breaker drinking game. Each player will take a turn and tell three facts about themselves. Two facts are true, one is a lie. The rest of the players must try to guess your bluff or the lie.

Mrs. or Mr. Freeze

Declare a Mr, or Mrs. Freeze at the beginning of the night. When the mister or misses freezes, everyone in the room must freeze too. The last person to freeze, takes a sip of their drink or a shot. You can play this game all night long. I bet it gets harder as the night goes on!

Heads Up!

This game will only get worse as the night continues… Download the Heads Up App from Ellen DeGeneres to your cellphone. Hold the phone device to your forehead and try to discover the word you are holding up. Your teammates can give you hints like its’ an animal, it has 4 legs, it hibernates. You can also ask questions as you try to figure out the word before times up. Categories might be famous people, movies, TV shows, animals, and more.

Enjoy these adult birthday party games perfect for a 21st birthday party celebration or any ‘ole occasion!

Cheers to a great night!

Disclaimer: Extreme drinking can have terrible outcomes. Enjoy in moderation. Please drink responsibly. No drinking and driving. These games can be adapted to be used with no drinks or non-alcoholic beverages.

100 Truth or Dare Questions for Kids

This post may contain affiliate links or ads. Read my privacy policy and disclosure policy here.

June 7, 2022 by Thena Reading-Franssen Filed Under: Birthday, Facebook, Games, Instagram, Party, Pinterest, Printable, Social Media Leave a Comment

These Truth or Dare Questions for Kids are sure to be the hit of the party! With 50 funny truth questions and 50 dare questions, it’s the perfect balance of both! Not only is this a clean and family-friendly version of truth or dare, but this printable truth or dare card game makes for perfect fun at sleepovers, birthday parties, and even family game night, too! These fun truth or dare printable questions are going to bring loads of laughs and forever memories!

Printable Truth or Dare Card Game

I remember all the hours of fun that I spent with my family and friends playing truth or dare growing up. The questions were silly and fun, and they literally still bring a smile to my face when I think about them. This is why these 100 Clean Truth or Dare Questions are a MUST for any type of party with friends!

You can easily print out these questions and use them as a fun ice breaker during a sleepover or challenge the kids to step outside their comfort zone and try a few of the fun dares. Just be ready – you may find yourself getting pulled in to join the fun! Get your truths ready and live up to the challenge of the dares!

How do you play Truth or Dare?

The rules for truth or dare are plain and simple. The person whose turn it is to pick someone simply chooses someone who is playing and asks them, “Truth or Dare?” It’s totally up to the person being asked what they choose. (although most people in the room will be screaming for them to choose dare!)

If truth is chosen, a truth question is read from the printable card, and the person being asked must tell the truth. If a dare is selected, a dare is picked, and the person then has to do whatever is on the card.

The rules are simple. However, you can twist up the game with a few game variations including…

  • Have players alternate questions between truth and dare
  • Is your crew likely to chicken out of a dare, pick two dare cards at a tie and choose one. The discarded card goes back to the pile.
  • Use your blank template and print as many times as you want. Personalize the game by entering and adding your own questions to the pile. Stay within the rule – keep it clean!

But don’t worry, parents – it’s all in clean fun! Be sure to establish those rules early on.

What are some fun games to play in the pool?

Ready for a list of fun pool games. Don’t be a fish outta water when it comes to your aqualfic activities for your next pool gathering. We put together 18 of the best swimming pool games perfect for teens, tween, kids and even adults.

DIY Pool Party Games

Take a look at just a few of these popular swimming pool game examples…

Pool Noodle Relay

This is a classic relay race with a pool twist! Divide your guests into teams of two and give each team a pool noodle. Players take turns paddling to the other end of the pool. First person on the team begins the game and tags the next player. The first team to make it through all of their team members wins!

Duck Push

Who can get their duck to the other side of the pool first? This is a simple yet fun game that can be played with any number of players. All you need is a few plastic ducks and a pool. Oh, and no hands!

Number Crunch

In this high adrenaline game, players will rush to jump in the pool and grab ping pong balls with point values written on them. Rush them back to the team bucket to get the points. When all of the balls are gone, it’s time to add up the points and declare the victor!

So You Think You Can Dance?

Let’s see those dancing skills as teams of two choreograph their underwater dance routine. The team with the best dance moves wins!

The Greasy Watermelon

Coat a watermelon with petroleum jelly and toss it in the deep end of the pool. Divide players and give each a challenge of retrieving the melon first. The winner takes all!

Invisi-bottle

In this invisible bottle game, fill a 2-L bottle with clear water and put the cap back on (best if not a colored top.) Have players move to opposite sides of the pool hanging on the edge of the pool. Throw the bottle on to the bottom of the pool. On the start of go, players can turn around and try to find the water bottle.

These games are all perfect as adult pool party games (pool party drinking games, anyone?) or pool party games for teenagers, youth and tweens. Birthday or summer pool party, you can’t have much more fun at the pool than this!
