The Ultimate List of Girls Sleepover Ideas – create the best birthday party (or just because) slumber party ever!

Sleepover Ideas for the Girls

Slumber Party Ideas

Anyone recall their sleepovers of childhood?  I do! Movies, laughter, maybe a few games of truth or dare. While my many of my memories have gone out of style, a whole new world of ideas has taken their place. With the evolution of Pinterest, the invention of new games, the world of slumber parties has changed. We found some of the best Girls Sleepover Ideas on the web. While all of the themes together would make one exhausted mother (and perhaps daughter) some of these ideas will create a memborable slumber party no child will ever forget. Like mother, like daughter.

Do you remember Dream Phone? Mall Madness? and Girl Talk Truth or Dare? Those were the games! Take a look at some of these board games (of today) for sleepovers.

  1. Sleepover Party
  2. Twister
  3. Pictionary
  4. Apples to Apples
  5. Pie Face
  6. Watch Ya’ Mouth Original Mouthpiece Game
  7. HedBanz Game
  8. Gesstures
  9. The Game of Life
  10. Spoons

Don’t worry, our ideas don’t stop with today’s top board games! Also check out all of these ideas from bloggers around the web. Sweet dreams!

First and foremost, the invitation. How adorable is this sleepover invite from ArtAmoris? Personalize and download. I suggest you upload and print at Staples on Cardstock.

Get ready for a rainbow manicure with this twist of Spin the Bottle. Don’t worry parents, it’s a nail polish bottle! Download your free printable and get the directions!

Once everyone arrives, keep the party moving along with planned activities. Place an activity inside balloons to be popped at each corresponding time.

Instead of ordering pizza, have the kids make their own. A mini pizza buffet with English muffins (flat bread, dough or ciabatta bread), pizza sauce and all the topics you can imagine! Idea from Eighteen25.

Popcorn bar anyone with this idea from Family Fresh Meals? What topping do you love? I love a chocolate with my popcorn but I know my girls would love anything gummy included!

Speaking of popcorn, these Popcorn Cupcakes make a very love alternative to birthday cake!

Have a late night toast with cookies and milk! Love this idea from Style Me Pretty.

A cute little snack you can make with the kids are the sleeping bag Teddy Grahams bears. | Source on Pinterest

Have a glow in the dark, surprise middle of the night chocolate buffet! The girls can take their glow sticks to bed.

Make a sleeping tent for each guest. This could be your party favor or something you use over and over.  This tepee set was purchased internationally from Kmart, but you could make your own. Tutorial found here.

Pillow fight? Paper and Cake had these pillows made for her guests! Grab yours too.

Before you relax, grab a robe and get cozy with this idea on Sprinkles Some Fun.

Play beauty shop with the Conair Quick Twist™ to make fun hair designs. Love this idea from Totally the Bomb (because it is!)

Speaking of hair, you have to try this beauty hack and chalk tutorial from momfluential! Put pastel chalk in your wet hair. Set the chalk into the hair with a hot flat iron. Color lasts 1 to 4 days. (It might be best to ask a parent’s permission for this one!)

These Animal Facial Sheet Masks and Cat Ear Hair Bands will top off your beauty treatment.

Friends don’t let friends wear ugly makeup but they do let you apply makeup to one another’s face blindfolded. Get your beauty game on, with a blindfold! Even mom can get involved. Collect old and discarded make-up that you are okay getting ruined. DON’T FORGET – Grab your makeup wipes!

Be a cool mom and teach your child and her girlfriends the game of MASH. Anyone else remember this game? Grab your free printable.

Would you rather? Print this free game from Skip to My Lou for a night full of laughs.

Don’t kill yourself with breakfast. A simple waffle bar buffet will fill everyone’s belly and the girls will feel grown up picking their own unique toppings.

I ‘CEREALsly’ love this one – delight your pajamaed guests when they rub their bleary eyes and see breakfast waiting for them. Cereal and personalized spoon from Oh Sugar Event Planning.

Let’s go on an overnight. Before the big night, share this comprehensive sleepover packing list with your guests.
