This tasty unicorn dip is almost too pretty to eat…but you will want to, since it’s also very delicious! With a simple, secret ingredient, you might find yourself eating it more than for parties.

If you are planning a unicorn birthday party, you’ll want to learn more about this delicious recipe we are sharing today. In the past, we have posted about Unicorn Party Favors which were a hit to make. When you are have a theme for the party, it’s always cute to have coordinating food, favors, games and decor.

This delicious Unicorn Dip recipe makes a great party food. Kids and adults will both enjoy the sweet treat. The cake mix used gives it the pink color that perfectly matches a unicorn theme, while the sprinkles give off pops of color that you’d associate with a unicorn’s horn and mane.

It’s really easy to whip up this strawberry cake mix recipe just before the party guests arrive. You could make it a little ahead of time too, and store it in the fridge until everyone is ready to eat.

Strawberry Cake Mix Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

Unicorn Sprinkles ( Amazon)
15oz Whipped Topping
18oz Strawberry Cake Mix
8oz Cream Cheese
1/4 Cup Milk
Cookies ( For Dunking)
Strawberries (For Dunking)

Instructions

Combine the cake mix, whipped topping, and cream cheese in a large mixing bowl.
Stir the milk into the mixture.
Place in a serving dish and top with sprinkles. Get the unicorn sprinkles if you can!
Serve this unicorn dip with cookies or strawberries. We recommend Vanilla Wafers or a shortbread cookie!

These adorable Hot Chocolate Bombs with Marshmallows will transform the way you make hot cocoa for your family. Plus, they look like Mickey Mouse – perfect for serving during a Disney movie night!

Hot Chocolate Bombs with Marshmallows

Hot chocolate bombs recipes are all the rage this year. So many people can’t wait to get their hands on these small spheres bursting with chocolate goodness. Something about them just makes hot cocoa so much better!

Since my kids love Disney, and we have already done a TON of Disney copycat recipes, I knew that I wanted our hot chocolate bombs with marshmallows to be different. Or at the very least, look different.

Enter our Mickey Mouse hot cocoa bombs! These are amazing, and your kiddos will LOVE that they look like their favorite Disney pal.

Serve up these hot cocoa bombs with a tall glass of hot milk and our Mickey Mouse Pizza or Mickey Mouse Pretzels for a themed treat.

Hot Chocolate Bombs Ingredients

1 12-oz package dark chocolate chips
1 packet instant hot cocoa mix with marshmallows
1 cup mini marshmallows
Mickey Mouse silicone mold (you can also use a sphere mold)

Hot Chocolate Bombs with Marshmallows – Mickey Mouse Style!

1 12-oz package dark chocolate chips
1 packet instant hot cocoa mix with marshmallows
1 cup mini marshmallows
Mickey Mouse silicone mold

Instructions

Pour the dark chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring the chocolate between each interval, until fully melted.
Spoon the melted chocolate into each of the areas of the Mickey Mouse silicone mold, using the back of the spoon to coat the sides of each mold. Do this until all molds are coated with a thin layer of chocolate.
Put the remaining melted chocolate aside.
Allow the chocolate in the molds to set completely, which will take about 2-3 hours. Speed up the process by putting the mold into the refrigerator.
Remove each of the Mickey-shaped chocolate pieces from the mold once set. Fill one empty piece with a small of instant hot cocoa mix with marshmallows. Top the cocoa mix with mini marshmallows.
Reheat the dark chocolate in 15 second intervals until melted again.
Dip the edges of a second Mickey-shaped chocolate piece into the melted chocolate and lightly press it in place on top of the filled chocolate piece. With your finger, smooth the melted chocolate around the seam to close it.
Continue filling and sealing until all the hot chocolate bombs with marshmallows are sealed. Allow the edges to set before serving.
To use the bombs, place one in mug and pour a glass of hot milk in over it. Once melted, stir to combine.

How to Make Hot Chocolate Bombs with Marshmallows

All Purpose Cleaner DIY

Making your own all-purpose cleaner could not be easier, is cheaper and is so much safer than the chemical filled bottles you pick up at the store. 4 ingredients are all you need (and maybe a little elbow grease) to create a safe, effective, and wonderfully scented cleaner that can be used on counters, appliances, floors, or anywhere else you need to clean and disinfect. The scent is lovely, fresh, and bright!

Ingredients:

1 Cup Water
1 Cup Vinegar
2 tsp. Dish Soap or Castile Soap
10 drops Lavender Essential Oil
10 drops Lemon Essential Oil (also nice with Orange)
Spray Bottle

Directions:

The first time you make this, purchase vinegar in the large glass bottle. When you need more Vinegar, it is more cost effective to purchase it by the gallon and refill (earth friendly too).
Pour all ingredients into a Spray Bottle. Plastic tends to erode so try a glass spray bottle if you are usuing this solution long term. A Mason Jar works great too.
Swirl gently to combine.
Spray and wipe.

Enjoy.

You will have an initial light vinegar scent after use but that will dissipate when the vinegar dries. Vinegar and oils will cut grease, disinfects, and deodorize surfaces.

I suggest testing this out on your counter tops and floors before use. I do not recommend it on Travertine or Marble.

As a mom of five, laughter is what gets us through the day. We love humor. I try to make our jokes and pranks friendly and not at the expense of anyone’s feelings. One of the innocent ways we celebrate April Fool’s Day is with a food prank. These April Fools Donuts are no joke. They are healthy and tasty. The icing is actually whipped cream cheese (or Nutella) and the doughnut itself is an apple.

First, cut apples into slices.

In the middle, cut a circle around the core, making the apple slices doughnut shaped. (If you have a small biscuit cutter or circle cookie cutter that would work! Otherwise, just use a knife.)

Next, mix 3 tbsp of cream cheese and 3 drops of food coloring per color that you want your ‘icing’ to be. (For chocolate doughnuts, use Nutella!)

Spread the colored cream cheese or Nutella on apple slices.

Lastly, add sprinkles on top!

I was a teacher for a number of years before having my children… my five children. Because of my background, I always want the teacher to know how appreciated she is. I always appreciated it when parents recognized me (even with small gestures) and i want to do the same for my kids’ teachers. Because of my five children, I can’t always be present or who my gratitude in person. There are many ways I have showed it otherwise. I have bought nice quality candy bars during checkout of the grocery store, I have picked up small $5 Starbucks Gift Cards (take a look at our awesome printable there) and I have had the kids write notes of thanks on various occasions.

I wanted to give you all something creative and crafty. We made ghost spoons to gift to a Fa-BOO-lous teacher. Download these Printable Halloween gift tag, and pair with these white chocolate ghost spoons.

So there are a number of supplies you will need. We have our recipes down below listing out all the ingredients, but a few things you might ant to pre-order.

Fa-Boo-lous Teacher Gift for Halloween with Free Printable

These White Chocolate Ghost Spoons make cute stirs with our Homemade Hot Chocolate Recipe. Gift to a fa-Boo-lous teacher with our free Halloween gift tag!

Ingredients

Scale

white chocolate chips or Wilton white candy melts
light cocoa candy melts
1 yard white tulle
12 spoons
black and white twine
Fa-BOO-lous teacher Halloween gift tag printable
candy eyes

Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

Lay out a piece of parchment paper on a baking pan.
In a small microwave safe bowl, heat one cup of your white candy melts on 50% power for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
Dip each spoon into your white melted chocolate and place on a piece of parchment paper.
Add two candy eyes on each ghost.
Transfer your chocolate covered spoons to the freezer for 10 minutes.
In a small microwave safe bowl, heat half a cup of your light cocoa candy melts on 50% power for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
Pour your melted chocolate into a decorating bag and cut a tiny tip off the end.
Use your melted chocolate decorating bag to draw a face on the back of the white chocolate covered spoon and place back on the parchment paper.
Transfer your ghost spoons to the freezer for another five minutes.
Trace a salad plate or bowl onto your white tulle 12 times and cut out carefully with scissors.
Wrap each ghost spoon with tool and tie with a piece of black and white twine.

Homemade Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup dark cocoa powder
1/3 cup powdered milk

Instructions

Mix your three ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
Scoop into a 16 oz Mason jar and place the lid back on.
Cut out your Fa-Boo-Lous Teacher printable and tape it to your mason jar.
Wrap some twine around the top of the jar and tie the ghost White Chocolate Spoon on with a strand of twine.

I picked up a Frappuccino cup at Starbucks when I got my gift card. Inside my cup, I put my Starbucks gift card and green crinkle cut paper, though I think brown crinkle cut paper could be cute too since it looks like coffee. Maybe top with white crinkle cut paper for the foam!

Tie off with a cute bow. We love burlap ribbon with wire (to shape the bow) otherwise green ribbon is cute too.

These Weight Watcher Buffalo Chicken Taquitos make a great addition to any Taco Tuesday without feeling like you are sacrificing. Low carb, low calorie, smartpoints included.

WW Baked Buffalo Chicken Taquitos

We love a good Taco Tuesday recipe. When I am watching my calorie intake, I tend to feel limited on my recipes. This was a very easy recipe to add to our weekly Tuesday evenings.

No need to feel like your are sacrificing with this buffalo chicken taquito recipe – in fact, you might feel a little indulgent. This low calorie recipe will be a go to recipe for not only you, but also the kids! So easy to make and incredibly tasty. Follow these simple directions and enjoy these low-carb Buffalo Chicken Taquitos.

Weight Watchers Baked Buffalo Chicken Taquitos

4 Smartpoints per whole taquito

Ingredients:

8 oz low fat cream cheese
⅛ cup buffalo sauce
2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
1 Packet Dry Ranch Dressing Mix
1/2 tsp minced garlic
12 small low carb flour tortillas (we used Mission Carb Balance Whole Wheel Tortillas)
Fat free Ranch Dressing
Optional: Lime juice for flavor

Baked Buffalo Chicken Taquitos with Weight Watchers Smartpoints

Ingredients

8 oz low fat cream cheese
⅛ cup buffalo sauce
2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
12 small flour tortillas (low carb)
Fat free Ranch Dressing
1 Packet Dry Ranch Dressing Mix
1/2 tsp minced garlic
Optional: lime juice

Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Mix cream cheese and buffalo sauce until well combined.
Add dry ranch seasoning and minced garlic.
Stir in chicken until well combined.
Place 2-3 Tablespoons of mixture spread into a thin line onto center of flour tortilla.
Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and repeat for remaining taquitos.
Once taquitos are arranged on cookie sheet, lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 15-20 minutes then broil a couple minutes until taquitos are golden brown
Add lime juice as desired.
