With only a few minutes prep, you can create these Beach Party individual pudding cups. Using teddy grahams, graham crackers and a few candies, you have adorable kids’ pool party snacks for a birthday, beach vacation or even a class party.

Beach Scene Vanilla Pudding Cups

vanilla-pudding-beach-cups-frugal-coupon-living-short-collage

These tasty treats are almost too cute to eat. Turn a vanilla pudding cup into a beach scene complete with a circle float, umbrella and bear laying on a towel above the beach sand. While these snacks are the embodiment of sand and surf, they are best served at a beach themed party or at a pool party as they would not go well with wind and sand.

What kind of food do you serve at a pool party?

For a pool party, you will find most of your guests snacking. While it’s nice to serve things like hamburgers, hotdogs or even pizza, make sure that you have a good selection of individual pool party snacks. That way people can eat on the go or as the sun and water develops their hunger.

Consider the following kid-friendly pool party snacks…

  • Seasoned Oyster Crackers Snack Mix
  • Strawberry Salsa
  • Banana Split Sticks
  • Cantaloupe Sailboats
  • Watermelon on a stick
  • Under the Sea Marshmallow Pops
  • Crab Sandwiches
  • Crab Cupcakes
  • Clam Cookies
  • Fruit Pizza Beach Ball

Beach Themed Snacks

The end of school is quickly approaching and if you are looking for an EASY last day of school snack, summer party idea, or something fun for a beach-themed celebration try out these Beach Scene Vanilla Pudding Cups.

Easy pool party snack for kids

Ingredients:

We used Snack Pack Vanilla Pudding Cups, make sure you have one pudding up per child/serving. Follow with one Teddy Graham, Life Saver, Air Head Extreme and Umbrella to perfect your individualized beach scene!

  • Snack Pack Vanilla Pudding Cups
  • Crushed graham crackers
  • Airhead Extreme Bites
  • Life Saver Gummies
  • Honey Teddy Graham’s
  • Drink Umbrellas

Where do I find Cocktail Umbrellas?

There are a number of places to find small drink umbrellas. I would recommend hitting the Dollar Tree first, but also look on Amazon, Target or at your local party store.

vanilla-pudding-beach-cups-frugal-coupon-living-facebook

Directions:

First Take the tops off of your pudding cups and fill to the top with your crushed graham crackers to look like sand.

Place a Teddy Graham onto an Airhead extreme and place onto the “sand.”

Stick your umbrella into the sand with a gummy life saver next to it.

Serve with a spoon and enjoy these cute little beach treats!

Can I make these the night before?

If you want to prep your beach themed party snacks the day before, prep the topping ingredients. Go ahead and set aside the number of pudding cups you need. Crush your graham crackers and store in an air tight container. Count out your number of umbrellas and peices of candy. For 30 beach snacks, it should take no more than 10 minutes prep.

Air Fryer Cheat Sheet

Answering simple questions like What is an Air Fryer and What are the Benefits of Owning One? For those rocking this kitchen appliance, we have a Air Fryer Cheat Sheet Printable PDF you can instantly download and access. This kitchen hack is perfect for busy moms on the go!

Air Fryer Cheat Sheet

Air Fryer Cheat Sheet PDF

I have emphasized in almost every post on this blog my need to find hacks in the most every day situation. I hate digging for recipes, the only thing that organized my family was a printable family command center in one place, and I am constantly chasing busy mom hacks for my family of seven. If you want to hang with me and follow these mom hacks and tips, take a look at this newest helper – the Air Fryer Cheat Sheet cooking chart.

What is an Air Fryer

First… Ashley, what is an air fryer? While air fryer ovens have been around for awhile, I too was like – what is an air fryer? It wasn’t until a few years ago that this product became coveted by myself and many American families.

An air fryer is a kitchen appliance that cooks food while circulating hot air similar to a convection oven.  A mechanical fan circulates the hot air around the food at high speed, cooking the food and producing a crispy brown layer. Despite the misleading word fry, there is no frying involved in an air fryer. When air frying, there is no need to add oil, which makes it healthier for your family.

Easy Air Fryer Recipes

You can see some of our Easy Air Fryer Recipes for Beginners.

Is an Air Fryer Worth It?

There are many Air fryer benefits for your family. First the air fryer is a small appliance that can be stored in your kitchen cabinets or pantry. Easy clean up.

There are air frying health benefits. An air fryer oven produces low fat entrees and sides. The air fryer appliance uses hot-air circulation cooking your your food from all angles with no oil needed! Lastly, you remove that unwanted aroma from your home that is often produced with deep frying food.

Best Seller Air Fryers

Do I need an Air Fryer?

You do not necessarily need an air fryer. You can produce similar outcomes on your dinner entrees and low-fat sides if you use a convection oven. However, many homes are not equip with a convection oven and replacing your kitchen oven can be quite costly. Some people use Toaster Ovens but a toaster oven will not feed a family of four – there is limited space or volume!

Amazon Best Seller Air Fryer

These are the Amazon Best Seller Air Fryers.

First, COSORI Air Fryer,Max XL is a 5.8 Quart Air Fryer.

For my family, that was a bit too small. The largest air fryer is the GoWISE USA Deluxe 12.7 Quart Air Fryer. It also is a Rotisserie and Dehydrator. You will pay for those extra features.

You might want to settle for the Ultrean 8.5 Quart Air Fryer for easy storage.

Air Fryer Cheat Sheet Printable

If your family is looking to add healthier dinners to your weekly menu plan, an air fryer is of course a very helpful kitchen appliance. Being a busy mom and needing all the mom tips and tricks I can get, I bring to you the Air Fryer Cheat Sheet Printable.

I keep a copy of this Air Fryer Cook Times Cheat Sheet in my Recipe Binder. (Another suggestion would be to laminate this cooking chart sheet and keep it beside your air fryer for times and temperatures. Laminating this air fryer tip guide will keep it clean and easy to wipe.)

Vista Print – My Great Buy!

July 8, 2021 by Ashley at Frugal Coupon Living Filed Under: Crafts, Stationary

published date: August 24, 2009
modified datt: July 08,2021

I had to share with you my great buys at Vista Print (I mentioned last week I was ordering thank you notes for a recent baby shower.)
…
I got 20 PERSONALIZED envelopes and 20 PERSONALIZED thank you notes for $8.99 (including shipping!) If I were to buy thank you notes at a store, they would be around the same price – just not personalized.
First Thank You Note
This was intended to be a Birth Announcement on Vista Print. The back side is the same just in gray scale (like a shadow.)
The First Envelope
This side is the front. The back has the return address on the top of the flap (the boarder is also running down the left side on the back.)

The Second Thank You Note

The back has a gray boarder. The envelope is similar to the above envelope just with a matching pattern.

…

I shopped the “Free” category of the website Here. I shopped in the birth announcements and the thank you notes/stationary area. Since you can personalize your items on Vista Print, even if you shop in an area not intended for what you are doing (in my case shopping in annoucements instead of thank you notes) you can make it just right for you needs. I could have personalized these designs even more to include my daugther’s name but I wanted the option to use it for either child. Start shopping Here.

DIY Friendship Kit Tutorial – Bracelet, Box & Clipboard

Remember making friendship bracelets? We used to always pin the ends to our jeans and lug around bags of different color threads. This kit will keep everything in one place and no more safety pins! Personalize the clipboard with fabulous papers that match your personality. Give these as a gift and use different papers to match their favorite color and add a monogram. There are so many ways you can embellish the clipboard! When you’re done, just clip the end of the bracelet to the clipboard and begin creating!

Supplies:

  • Clipboard
  • Thread Organizer Box
  • Mod Podge
  • E6000 Glue
  • Acrylic Paint (Chalk Paint would also be fun!)
  • Paint Brush
  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Scissors

friendship-kit-Collage-frugal-coupon-living

Instructions:

  1. First you will need to remove any price tags and paint the back of your clipboard.
  2. While you are painting you will want to pay special attention to painting the edges of your clipboard.
  3. While the paint is drying, begin working on the thread organizer. Select the scrapbook paper that you would like to use to cover the organizer. Measure and cut strips to fit the outside rim of the thread organizer.
  4. Adhere the scrapbook paper on to the organizer using Mod Podge.
  5. You will need one piece of scrapbook paper to cover the top of the organizer. Once the paper is secured and dry, use the E6000 glue (you can use hot glue, but this glue is very strong and will make sure that it does not separate.) to glue the bottom of the thread organizer to the back of the clipboard.
  6. Next we will cover the front of the clipboard with scrapbook paper. I have found the easiest way to do this is to cut a small piece of paper (about 4 inches long and 3 inches wide) and start with the top around the clip. Position the paper and press hard and the edges of the clipboard will leave an indentation. This lets you know where to cut.
  7. Once you have one corner cut, use it as a stencil to create the other side. If you plan on ever covering any more clipboards, I highly recommend making an extra ‘template’ to keep on hand.
  8. Paint around the edges of the front of the clipboard. While the paint is still wet you can open the clip and slide a piece of scrapbook paper as high as it will go. The paint will again, outline the areas letting you know where to cut. Cut your main piece of paper and use Mod Podge to adhere to the front.
  9. Then add the two top areas with Mod Podge around the clip. While it is drying I put a pair of scissors to keep the clip open so the final pieces wouldn’t accidentally move.
  10. Finish with a strip of paper to cover up any seams.
  11. Fill your box with threads, a mini pair of scissors or include a book on friendship bracelet designs to go with your gift! We found some really fun threads including tye-dye and neons that my girls thought were really fun.
