Brussels sprout prank idea for The Elf on the Shelf

Looking for a hilarious way to surprise (or trick!) your kids this holiday season? This clever idea for The Elf on the Shelf comes from Elf Mom Clare S., and it’s all about a funny holiday prank. In this scenario, your little Christmas companion has replaced the delicious Ferrero Rocher chocolates with…yuck, Brussels sprouts! Imagine the surprise on your kids’ faces when they discover this silly switch-up. This prank is sure to get plenty of giggles and maybe a few “Ew’s!”

How to Set Up The Elf on the Shelf Ferrero Rocher Prank

In this festive chocolate idea for The Elf on the Shelf, your Yuletide elf plays a classic trick by removing the chocolates from Ferrero Rocher wrappers and replacing them with green Brussels sprouts. The contrast between the luxurious gold-wrapped treat and the unsuspecting Brussels sprout inside makes this Elf prank a sure hit. Plus, it’s easy to stage and perfect for adding some lighthearted fun to your family elf’s antics.

A Fun Twist for Your Holiday Mischief-Maker

This prank offers a perfect mix of humor and creativity. While your little guy is busy setting the scene, the real surprise will come when your kids unwrap what they think is a delicious treat, only to find a healthy (and maybe unwanted) surprise. It’s a fun and easy way to bring some laughter to the holiday season and add a mischievous twist to your family elf’s regular routine!

Supplies Needed for Your Festive Scout’s Prank

  • The Elf on the Shelf Doll
  • Ferrero Rocher chocolates (unwrap and save the wrappers)
  • Brussels sprouts (small enough to fit inside the wrappers)
  • Scissors or knife (optional for adjusting the Brussels sprouts size)

Instructions for Staging This Elf on the Shelf Prank

  1. Prepare the Brussels sprouts: Start by selecting small Brussels sprouts that will fit snugly into the Ferrero Rocher wrappers. If needed, use scissors or a knife to trim them down to size.
  2. Unwrap the chocolates: Carefully unwrap the Ferrero Rocher chocolates, making sure not to damage the wrappers. Set the chocolates aside (for later enjoyment!).
  3. Insert the Brussels sprouts: Replace the chocolates with the trimmed Brussels sprouts, wrapping them back up tightly in the Ferrero Rocher wrappers. Ensure that they look identical to the real thing!
  4. Set the scene: Position your Christmas elf near the Ferrero Rocher box with a mischievous look (as if he’s been the culprit behind the chocolate switch). Scatter a few real chocolates (or opened wrappers) around to make it seem like your tiny scout got caught in the act!
  5. Enjoy the reaction: Wait for the moment your kids discover the prank, unwrapping what they think is a sweet treat, only to find a Brussels sprout inside!

This fun and simple prank is a great way to add a bit of humor and surprise to your holiday season. Your Holiday mischief-maker will leave everyone in stitches with this unexpected chocolate swap!

The Elf on the Shelf Self Painting Self Portrait

Looking for a clever and artistic way to surprise your kids with The Elf on the Shelf this season? This unique elf idea, shared with Frugal Coupon Living by Elf enthusiast Clare S., brings out the creative side of your little holiday helper! In this setup, Scout Elf is drawing a self-portrait on a miniature canvas, complete with a paintbrush and watercolor set. Clare added an extra touch by drawing the picture herself and then coloring it with Sharpies. To give the canvas a bit more dimension, you can even paint over the Sharpie colors for a beautiful, layered effect!

How to Set Up The Elf on the Shelf Self-Portrait Scene

You might remember our Elf Portrait in the preschool classroom. This painting for The Elf on the Shelf was done over 10 years ago in my daughter’s classroom. She is now in high school. Let’s take a look at a new idea for staging a Christmas Elf portrait idea.

Elf on the Shelf Paints a Portrait - Ideas for School

In this fun and creative idea, your little guy is transformed into an artist, busily painting a self-portrait. Imagine your kids’ reactions when they find their tiny scout sitting next to an adorable miniature canvas, brush in hand, as if he’s been hard at work on his masterpiece! This scene is easy to put together and allows you to bring an extra personal touch to your family elf’s antics by customizing the portrait on the canvas.

Whether your holiday mischief-maker is sitting at a desk, next to a window, or on the mantle, this fun and creative scene will bring plenty of smiles and excitement!

Add Some Extra Flair to Your Holiday Helper’s Art Scene

To take this idea to the next level, consider adding dimension to the portrait! After coloring the picture with Sharpies, you can carefully paint over it with watercolors. The added texture and dimension will make the scene even more fun for your kids to discover. Plus, this playful scene can be set up in different places around the house, giving your kids a chance to see their Jolly sprite’s artistic talents unfold!

The Elf on the Shelf Self Portrait Painting

Supplies Needed for Your Festive Scout’s Art Project

  • The Elf on the Shelf Doll
  • Miniature canvas and easel
  • Paintbrush
  • Watercolors or Sharpie markers (or both!)
  • Pencil
  • Paper towel or napkin for extra realism

Instructions for Staging This Artistic Elf Idea

  1. Prepare the canvas: Start by setting up your miniature canvas on the easel. You can either draw a small picture of The Elf on the Shelf on the canvas yourself or let the kids discover a blank canvas, suggesting that the tiny elf is still in the process of creating his masterpiece.
  2. Draw and color: If you’re drawing the portrait, use a pencil and Sharpie to outline the red guy’s image on the canvas. Then, color it in with markers, or take it up a notch by painting over the colored areas for added depth.
  3. Set up the scene: Position your Christmas companion next to the canvas, holding a small paintbrush as though he’s been painting his self-portrait. Add a watercolor set nearby to make it look like your family elf has all his artist’s supplies handy.
  4. Add finishing touches: Scatter a few drops of “paint” on the easel or napkin to add to the realism of your tiny scout’s artistic setup. You could even place the scene on a small desk or near some holiday decor to complete the look!

This fun and simple idea is the perfect way to add a creative touch to your elf’s holiday antics. Your kids will love seeing their cheerful companion busy at work, crafting a festive masterpiece!

Thanks for sharing, Clare!

  • Mascara (as a prop for display)

Instructions for Staging This Glamorous Elf Idea

  4. Enjoy the laughs: Sit back and wait for the giggles when your family discovers their favorite workshop elf all glammed up and ready for holiday fun!

This simple but hilarious idea is a great way to add a little extra personality to your Christmas companion. With just a few easy steps, your tiny scout will be the star of your household holiday fun, making this season even more memorable!

This fun and creative idea for The Elf on the Shelf, shared by Elf Enthusiast Clare S. with Frugal Coupon Living, takes your holiday mischief-maker on a daring rescue mission! In this scene, one Christmas elf has fallen into a frozen lake made of saran wrap stretched over a bathroom sink, while another elf is valiantly trying to pull him out using a paper clip. Surrounded by “snow” made from white flour and a snowman made of stacked toilet paper rolls, this adorable setup includes a warning sign that reads, “Danger. Thin Ice. Don’t walk on frozen lake.” It’s a cute and clever scene that adds some snowy fun to your holiday elf’s antics!

How to Set Up The Elf on the Shelf Thin Ice Rescue Scene

In this festive scene, your little friend finds himself in a bit of trouble after walking on “thin ice.” Your tiny scout uses a paper clip to rescue his fellow holiday helper from the icy water while a cheerful snowman looks on. The creativity behind this setup makes it easy to stage, using simple household items to create an engaging, wintery scene that will bring smiles to your kids’ faces. The combination of the snowman, the warning sign, and the dramatic rescue brings your holiday elf’s mischievous side to life!

Supplies Needed for Your Holiday Mischief-Maker’s Thin Ice Scene

  • The Elf on the Shelf Doll (2)
  • Saran wrap (for the “ice”)
  • White flour (for “snow”)
  • Paper clip (for the rescue line)
  • Wooden craft stick (for the sign)
  • Cardstock or paper (this is the best cardstock which is perfect for your fun printables)
  • Markers (to create the sign)
  • Toilet paper rolls (3, for the snowman)
  • Construction paper (for the snowman’s face and accessories, or grab our printable snowman)
  • Small scarf or ribbon (for the snowman)
  • Scissors
  • Glue or Tape

Instructions for Staging the Elf Thin Ice Prank

  1. Create the frozen lake: Stretch a piece of saran wrap tightly over the top of the bathroom sink. Make sure it’s secure for when your little visitor falls through it. Scatter white flour around the edges of the sink to create a snowy effect.
  2. Position the elves: Place one of your Christmas companions halfway through the broken saran wrap to make it look like he’s fallen into the icy water. Then, position your other holiday helper nearby, using an open paper clip to try to rescue him.
  3. Make the warning sign: Print or write out a small sign that says, “Danger. Thin Ice. Don’t walk on frozen lake.” Attach the sign to a wooden craft stick and place it in the background.
  4. Build the snowman: Stack three toilet paper rolls to create your snowman. Use construction paper to cut out eyes, a carrot nose, and buttons for the front or download the printable toilet paper snowman set. Add a scarf or ribbon around his neck to complete the snowman’s look.
  5. Set the scene: Once the elves are in place, and the sign and snowman are set up, add a few final touches like more flour for snow to complete the wintery scene.

This simple yet playful idea is the perfect way to add some winter magic to your holiday helper’s mischief. Whether your kids are amazed by the daring rescue or giggling at the snowman, this scene is sure to bring some holiday cheer!

Idea: For the first night, you can do this snowman idea with toilet paper then move the idea to a frozen lake the next day!

From creating Nativity scenes to celebrating Jesus’ birthday, these projects help children explore the heart of the Christmas story in a fun and memorable way. Perfect for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and elementary-aged kids, these crafts will make the season come alive!

What Is the Reason for the Season for Christians?

For Christians, Christmas isn’t just about twinkling lights, presents, and festive music—it’s about celebrating the most amazing gift ever given: Jesus. The reason for the season is to remember that Jesus Christ was born as the Savior of the world. His birth is a fulfillment of God’s promise, bringing hope, peace, and joy to all of us. As we gather with family and friends during this time of year, we’re reminded of the love that God showed by sending His Son into the world. Teaching children this core truth of Christmas helps them understand why we celebrate and keeps Christ at the center of the season.

Why Crafting is Important for Teaching the Christmas Story

kids christian crafts during christmas

Crafting is more than just a fun activity—it’s a powerful way to help children connect with the heart of the Christmas story. Through hands-on activities, kids can actively engage with the story of Jesus’ birth, turning abstract concepts into something they can see, touch, and remember. As they create, they’re also reinforcing important Bible verses and Christian values, making the story of Christmas personal and memorable.

Crafts give children the chance to express their creativity while deepening their understanding of the real reason we celebrate: the birth of our Savior. Plus, these activities can be shared with family and friends, becoming keepsakes that serve as reminders of the joy and meaning behind Christmas for years to come.

Whether you’re working in a Sunday school classroom, homeschooling, or crafting at home, these projects provide meaningful ways to discuss the wonder of Jesus’ arrival. Now, let’s dive into some exciting Christmas craft ideas that will bring this beautiful story to life!

How to Use These Crafts in a Sunday School Setting

In a Sunday school classroom, these Christmas crafts are more than just fun projects—they’re powerful tools for teaching children about Jesus. Here are a few tips to help make the most of these activities:

  1. Pair Crafts with Bible Lessons: Before starting the craft, read the relevant Bible story. For example, if you’re making a Nativity craft, read Luke 2:1-20 aloud and discuss it with the children. This helps them connect what they’re making with what they’re learning.
  2. Create Group Discussions: After the craft is completed, ask the children questions like, “What did you learn about Jesus today?” or “How can we share the story of Jesus’ birth with others?” These discussions deepen the learning experience and encourage children to reflect on the meaning behind the craft.
  3. Encourage Children to Share Their Crafts: Suggest that children take their crafts home and share the Christmas story with their families. Crafts like the M&M Christmas Poem Gift Tag or the Nativity Coloring Wheel are perfect for this. Encouraging kids to tell their families about what they’ve learned is a great way to extend the lesson beyond the classroom.
  4. Incorporate Music and Prayer: As children work on their crafts, play Christmas hymns, carols, or songs that talk about Jesus’ birth. You can also close the session with a prayer, thanking God for sending His Son into the world.

Crafting is a beautiful way to connect children with the Christmas story and teach them about the birth of Jesus in a meaningful and hands-on way. These Sunday school Christmas crafts offer simple and engaging activities for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and elementary-aged kids to help them understand the true reason for the season. From Nativity crafts to personalized keepsakes, these ideas will make this Christmas season a memorable one for everyone involved.

Pass the parcel is a fun activity to play during a birthday party or another special event. Learn how to play this gift exchange game plus print this adorable pass the parcel game with rhyming game tasks today!

how to play pass the parcel game printable

Pass the Parcel is a classic party game that has been enjoyed by children and adults alike for generations. The game involves passing a wrapped parcel (present) from person to person based on a series of directions or while music plays.  The aim of the game is to be the one holding the parcel. The person holding the parcel at the end of each round (or at the end of the game) gets to unwrap a layer of paper to reveal a small gift or prize inside.

The origins of Pass the Parcel are unclear, but it is believed to have originated in Britain in the early 20th century. The game of pass has since spread around the world and is now a popular party game in many countries. Pass the Parcel is a simple game that requires no special equipment, making it a popular choice for children’s parties and other social gatherings for adults.

Pass the Parcel is also called the left-right game as the present can jut quickly to the left and again quickly to the right. This gift exchange game can be enjoyed by people of all ages and is a great way to bring people together and create a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re playing with friends, family, or colleagues, Pass the Parcel is sure to provide low-cost entertainment and laughter. So, if you’re looking for a fun and easy game to play at your next party or gathering, why not give Pass the Parcel a try?

What is the Pass the Parcel Game?

Pass the Parcel is a game that involves a present wrapped in one or multiple layers of wrapping paper or reusable fabric bags of different sizes. A prize or gift is placed in the center of the parcel. The game is played by a group of players who sit in a circle. The parcel is passed around the circle from player to player.

How to Play Pass the Parcel Game

There are multiple versions of the Pass the Parcel gift game.  You can play this gift exchange game with music or with rhyming directions.

Musical Pass

To play Pass the Parcel with music, players must sit in a circle. The person who is hosting the party or event should start the game by playing music and passing the parcel to the person sitting next to them. Similar to hot potato only when the music stops, you want to be holding the package. When the music stops, the player holding the parcel unwraps one layer of wrapping paper. The music begins again. With each break in the music, a new layer of the parcel is unwrapped. The game continues until the final layer is unwrapped, revealing the prize or gift inside.

To make the game more challenging, the host can add additional rules, dares, or “forfeits”, such as requiring players to perform a task or answer a question before passing the parcel. This can add an element of fun and excitement to the game. In addition between each layer of the package can be a smaller gift or prize.

Rhyming Riddles Pass

Another fun version of the pass the parcel game is with a series of directions or rhyming riddles. In this game, directions are provided which where to start the package. Then as each new rhyme is read aloud, the parcel or package moves around the circle. You can have layers of the package where with each new player, a new layer can be unwrapped or you can have the package rotate the circle and at the end of the game, there is only one winner. This last person gets to unwrap the entire package.

Rhyming Pass the Parcel Game Tasks

To get a general idea of directions, take a look at these pass-the-parcel game task examples.

  • We will start this game with a little rhyme, who has known you the longest time?
  • A very important person gets to start the game, pass now to the one with the longest first & last name.
  • The first person to your right is wearing blue, Is now allowed to grab the parcel straight from you.
  • To be fair we have to share, Pass now to the person with the longest hair.
  • We know how time can get away. Pass to the one who had the most recent birthday.

Materials Needed for Pass the Parcel Game

To play Pass the Parcel, you will need the following materials:

  • Wrapping paper or reusable fabric bags
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • Music player and fun music
  • Prize or gift to be placed in the center of the parcel
  • Printable Pass the Parcel Game Tasks
  • Optional: Small prizes in-between layers

Examples of smaller prizes between the layers of gift wrap can be candy bars, plastic toys, gift cards, chocolates, and lolli pops.

It is important to ensure that the wrapping paper or fabric bags used to wrap the parcel are of different designs and sizes. This will make it easier to distinguish between the different layers of wrapping paper and add an element of surprise to the game.

When Can Pass the Parcel Games Be Played?

What’s great about this gift game is there are many reasons you can play. In fact, we provide a generic list of directions for the game of pass that can played at any time, during any occasion, with any audience. However, there are variations of the game that can be played for special occasions including baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, and even holiday parties. Thanksgiving sunday school lessons

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to teach children about gratitude, generosity, and God’s many blessings. Through engaging activities, kids can understand the importance of giving thanks and recognizing God’s provision in their lives. In Sunday school classrooms, crafting can be a powerful way to reinforce these biblical lessons. Creating hands-on activities that connect faith and gratitude is an excellent way to make the Thanksgiving season more meaningful plus create an adorable keepsake for the fall season.

Why Use Crafts to Teach Thanksgiving in Sunday School?

Crafts are a fantastic tool for engaging children in Sunday school lessons. Not only do they provide a creative outlet for kids, but they also serve as an interactive way to teach important biblical principles. When children create something with their hands, through kinesthetic learning they’re more likely to remember the lesson that was tied to the activity.

Thanksgiving offers the perfect opportunity to focus on gratitude, and a great way to teach this concept is through Thanksgiving-themed crafts. These fall activities can help children connect their faith to everyday expressions of thankfulness and generosity.

The Importance of Gratitude in the Bible

Gratitude is a recurring theme throughout the Bible, reminding us that thanksgiving should be a daily part of our lives, not just reserved for special occasions. From the Psalms to the letters of Paul, we are encouraged to live with a heart full of thanks. Psalm 107:1 says, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” This verse reminds us that our gratitude is not based on circumstances but on the enduring goodness of God.

One of the foundational teachings of the New Testament on gratitude comes from 1 Thessalonians 5:18, which encourages us to “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” This verse teaches children and adults alike that gratitude is not dependent on whether things are going well or not. Instead, it is a posture of the heart, rooted in the recognition that God is always working for our good, no matter the situation.

Sunday school Thanksgiving crafts provide a fun, interactive way to help children understand these verses on a deeper level. As kids engage with hands-on projects, they can connect biblical principles with real-life applications, learning that giving thanks is something they can practice in their everyday lives.

Biblical Stories That Teach Gratitude

Crafts are a great way to explore specific biblical stories, such as the story of the 10 lepers in Luke 17:11-19. In this account, Jesus heals ten men suffering from leprosy, but only one returns to thank Him. This story can open up rich conversations with children about the importance of showing gratitude, not just to God but also to the people around us. It highlights that gratitude is a choice, and those who choose to express thanks bring joy not only to others but also to the heart of God.

Another powerful story is found in 2 Corinthians 9:7-8, where Paul reminds us that God loves a cheerful giver. Although this passage primarily talks about generosity, it also emphasizes that we should give—and live—with a thankful heart, knowing that God will provide for all our needs. These kinds of stories, paired with engaging crafts, can reinforce the connection between thanksgiving, generosity, and our relationship with God.

Thanksgiving crafts can also focus on the gratitude Jesus expressed during the Last Supper, recorded in Matthew 26:26-29. Before sharing the bread and the cup, Jesus gave thanks. This moment shows children that even in challenging situations, we can still offer thanks to God, knowing that His plan is perfect.

By integrating Bible stories and gratitude-focused crafts into your Sunday school lessons, children can develop a deeper understanding of thankfulness as a way of life.

Hands-On Learning: Why It Matters

Creating hands-on activities is a key method for reinforcing Sunday school lessons, especially for younger children. Crafting allows kids to see, touch, and take home something tangible that represents the spiritual truths they’re learning.

Hands-on learning through crafts can also encourage collaboration and sharing among students. Kids can work together to create Thanksgiving decorations, cards, or keepsakes, all while discussing what they are thankful for in their lives. This opens the door for deeper conversations and allows children to express their gratitude in a meaningful way.

Looking for fun and meaningful ways to celebrate the birth of Jesus with kids this Christmas season? These Happy Birthday Jesus activities are perfect for parents, Sunday school teachers, and Christian educators who want to incorporate faith-based crafts and lessons into their holiday traditions.

birhtday ideas for jesus during christmas

The Christmas season is a wonderful time to celebrate the birth of Jesus with your children, reminding them of the true reason behind all the festivities. Whether you’re a parent, youth leader, or Sunday school teacher, finding meaningful activities that combine fun and faith can enrich the Christmas experience for children and help them understand the significance of Jesus’ birth. In this blog post, we’ll explore a range of exciting and faith-filled activities designed to celebrate Jesus’ birthday and make the Christmas season more memorable.

The Birth of Jesus: A Celebration of God’s Greatest Gift

Before diving into the activities, let’s take a moment to reflect on the heart of the Christmas story. Over 2,000 years ago in a little town called Bethlehem, the greatest gift the world had ever known was born—Jesus, the Son of God. Christ’s birth marked the fulfillment of ancient prophecies, bringing hope, peace, and salvation to humanity.

In the hustle and bustle of modern Christmas celebrations, it can be easy to lose sight of this miraculous event. That’s why celebrating Jesus’ birthday can be a meaningful tradition for families, churches, and classrooms. By focusing on the birth of Jesus, children can learn the true meaning of Christmas and why it’s more than just presents under the tree—it’s about the ultimate gift of love that God gave us through His Son.

What are Kids’ Activities Ideas for the Birth of Jesus?

In addition to the crafts we’ll be exploring from our Happy Birthday Jesus Activity Set, there are many other exciting ways to engage children and make the birth of Jesus a central part of your holiday traditions. These activities range from creative crafts to fun songs, all designed to bring the Nativity story to life and help children connect with Jesus during the Christmas season.

1. Nativity Scene Play

Create a simple Nativity play with the kids in your family or Sunday school class. Assign roles like Mary, Joseph, shepherds, angels, and the wise men, and reenact the story of Jesus’ birth. This activity not only helps children understand the biblical narrative but also encourages them to step into the roles of key figures in the story. Kids love dressing up and acting out the story, and it’s a wonderful way to engage their imaginations while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas.

2. Nativity-Themed Games

Games are a great way to get kids excited about learning! Try playing a game of Pin the Star Over Bethlehem, where children take turns trying to place a star sticker or cutout on a Nativity scene. You could also create a Christmas scavenger hunt where kids search for items related to the Nativity story (like a manger, a baby doll, and a star). These games add a layer of fun while reinforcing the key elements of the birth of Jesus.

3. Christmas Carols about Jesus

Singing is a fun way to celebrate Jesus’ birth! Gather a list of Christmas carols that specifically focus on the birth of Christ, like “Away in a Manger,” “Silent Night,” and “Joy to the World.” Incorporating carols into your celebration can help children focus on Jesus Christ and understand the joy His birth brings. Consider organizing a Christmas carol sing-along with your family or church group as a way to celebrate the season.

4. Storytime with the Nativity

Set aside time to read the Christmas story from the Bible (Luke 2:1-20) or from a children’s Nativity book. For younger children, use a Nativity coloring wheel to tell the Bible story of Jesus’ birth. After reading, ask the kids questions to help them think about the meaning behind the story, such as “Why was Jesus born in a stable?” or “What did the angels tell the shepherds?” This quiet activity offers a reflective moment during the busy holiday season.

5. Star Craft

A simple craft that kids will love is creating a Bethlehem star! Using paper, foil, or glitter, let kids design and cut out their very own star. You can then hang these stars around your home or classroom as a reminder of the star that led the wise men to Jesus. As the children create, share with them the significance of the star in the Nativity story and how it symbolized hope and guidance.

Fun & Faith-Filled Activities from the Happy Birthday Jesus Activity Set

Now, let’s look at a set of hands-on, fun, and creative activities that will make celebrating Jesus’ birthday an unforgettable experience for kids. These activities are perfect for Sunday school, kids’ ministry, homeschool lessons, or family Christmas celebrations, allowing children to engage in meaningful, Christ-centered activities that spark joy and faith.

Parents and teachers can encourage kids to reflect on what each attribute means and how Jesus’ birth brings these gifts to life. After completing the flip book, children will have a beautiful keepsake to remind them of the true meaning of Christmas.

2. 3D Pop-Up Happy Birthday Jesus Card

Who doesn’t love a pop-up card? This fun and interactive 3D pop-up Birthday Card for Jesus (on Etsy too) allows kids to craft a cute note for Jesus. The card features Jesus wearing a party hat, making it a playful way to celebrate His special day. Children can choose between black-and-white versions to color or pre-colored versions to assemble.

Inside the card, they can add one of three fun messages:

  • You’re the B(ethlehem)est gift of all!
  • The original Christmas miracle—no wonder you’re the star of the show!
  • Thank you for being the perfect gift!

They also can add their own message. As they create and assemble their cards, kids will be reminded of Jesus’ role as the greatest gift ever given.

3. Gospel Message Newspaper

This unique newspaper-style craft presents the birth of Jesus in a creative way, making it feel like a headline story! The “On the Day You Were Born” Jesus newspaper (on Etsy too) gives kids a fun and engaging way to learn about the events surrounding Jesus’ birth. It features key details like the visit of the shepherds, the appearance of the star, and the arrival of the wise men.

Not only is this a great craft for learning about the Nativity, but it also includes a simple explanation of the gospel message. This makes it a perfect tool for sharing the Good News with children and introducing them to the significance of Jesus’ birth.
