My family and I took a trip out to Colorado a few years ago. It as such a nice summer vacation. The weather was great and every thing was so cheap because it was the off season. I did that car picture above – the most scared I have probably every been. You are literally on a car, on tracks on the side/cliff of a mountain. I was sure the car would roll of the mountain with me in it. I actually did all 5 of those images – the white water rafting was less scary and parts were level 4 or 5.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.
Well summer is not over and neither are the small weekend getaways. If you are close (or even more than a few states over), have you considered Branson, Missouri? The Hilton Hotels, both centrally located in Branson, has various packages and rates. The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is located in the center of the shopping and entertainment district while The Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel is perfect for business traveler or for someone looking for something more in Historic Downtown. Both offer something for individuals who have never discovered The Entertainment Capital of the Midwest and there is something or those who are looking for a quieter, more relaxed weekend.
I have not been to Branson or even Missouri, but having searched via the tourism site, it appears there is a lot available for families. Sumer fun and festivities in Branson include shows such as Acrobats of China, Clay Cooper, performances by Travis Tritt and Tanya Tucker, or even Neal McCoy. Attractions include ziplines, a dinosaur museum, and The Dixie Stampede. One of the most popular locations, tough, is The Silver Dollar City with 20 heart-stopping rides, dozens of shows, and shops! Kid Fest at The Silver Dollar City runs June 5th to August 8th. Dad can enjoy the easy driving distance of Branson’s championship golf courses (including Payne Stewart Golf Club), mom can enjoy the shops, the family can enjoy the entertainment! I also noticed Restaurant.com had about 4 restaurants for Branson. Perhaps somewhere to go each night you are there!
Have you been to Branson? What would you recommend?

I joined for Boston last year when I knew my husband and I would take a vacation there and I’m still getting the emails daily – it makes me wish I was going back!

I just signed up for a new program – Voyage Prive. It is similar to Expedia, Travelocity, and other travel sites like that but it is by invite only – so it makes it a little more priviate than opening up to the entire public.
Most of the offers (a new batch comes new each day) are national but there are some local offers that I am excited to see are coming up or running – 74% off Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans, 61% off on a Charming Charleston Inn (Oooh) , 54% off on an Amelida Island Getaway (my husband and I loved this destination, and 64% off in Wyoming.
I would sign up HERE and just pay close attention as the destinations start rolling in. You can book for an event right away or 3 months out.
