Ready for a thoughtful punny gift? We are back with this adorable Stuck with You Teacher Appreciation Printable. Pair with Scotch Expressions Ruler Design Masking Tape and gift for a teacher.

Stuck With You Teacher Gift Tag Pritnable Set

Stuck with You Teacher Appreciation Printable

While in the store the other day, we came across the cutest ruler design masking tape from Scotch Expressions. Though I had no reason for celebration, I had to pick it up for my girls’  teachers. I also wanted to pair a gift tag with some pun – I am glad I am stuck with you!  As you know from my previous posts, I am a former teacher and always looking to show my kid’s teachers affirmations and thanks.

Always find a reason – Thankful Thursday

We made this as a Thankful Thursday gift. Just a creative way to show a teacher how much she is appreciation for no reason. It would also be cute as a Punny Teacher Gift Idea.

If you don’t have this masking tape, think of another item to pair with the gift tag. Glue, clear tape, candy, whatever is sticky and fun!

Stuck with You Supplies:

Your supplies are really optional, but these are the things we used for this Teacher Appreciation Gift.

  • Turquoise tulle
  • Turquoise curling ribbon
  • Scotch Expressions ruler design masking tape
  • Stuck on you printable

You will also need a resource to print this. We suggest sending the order to Staples and printing on card stock. More on that below.

Stuck with You Directions:

Some of these directions are based up my own resources. Your directions will vary based on the supplies you use to make your teacher gift.

Take your Stuck with You printable. Cut out the gift tag and punch or cut a hole in the top of the tag.

Cut about four inches of curling ribbon.

Next, string your ribbon through the Scotch brand tape and the gift tag. Tie a knot and curl with scissors.

Cut off some tulle. We used about three inches. Tie around the curling ribbon and make a cute accent to your bow.

Finally, have your child sign their name and gift to a teacher.

Enjoy.

Teacher Appreciation Gift Tags

Before you go on, take a look at this! Solve an entire year of gifts with this Teacher Appreciation Gift Tags set. Included in this set are 12 months of gift tags. Each gift tag can be paired with a small low-cost gift just to show an appreciation of thanks.

The “stuck with you” teacher gift tag is included in this set. From masking tape to chocolate bars, these Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas can be used the entire school year!

How to Print

I like to order my prints at Staples. It saves on ink and is only a few short miles from my home. I pick-up at the store, but of course you can upload them online and then have them shipped to your home.

  1. Download and save your image from this post.  (Please note these images are for personal use only and cannot be sold or used for commercial use.)

Six Young Adult Books Going to Film

I always love it when books are made into movies, and the books always end up being better than the film version. If you’ve been looking for some new young adult books to read, here are Six Young Adult Books Going to Film!

Between Shades of Gray was turned into the movie Ashes into the Snow. This is the story of Lina, a Lithuanian girl, who is separated from her father and sent to a Siberian work camp along with her mother and brother where they have to fight for their lives.

If you love forbidden romance, you’ll want to read and see Five Feet Apart. This tells the story of two teens who fall in love but both have medical conditions and could risk their lives if they touch each other. This reminds me of an episode of Grey’s Anatomy, so I am totally putting this on my to read and see lists!

We’ll see a new Disney movie hit theaters when Artemis Fowl comes out. Read the book first so you’re ready to see the story of 12-year-old Artemis unfold on the big screen. Artemis is a millionaire, a genius and a criminal mastermind but he’s in for more than he expects when he kidnaps a fairy who turns out to be dangerous. This book is FREE for all of you with an Amazon Prime membership.

Do any of you remember the book Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark from when you were kids? The original timeless collection of chillingly scary tales and legends has been re-released with a new cover and is soon to be a feature film! This would be a great book to have to read for family campouts!

Little Women has always been one of my favorite books, and I am SO excited that it’s coming back to theaters in December! I am totally taking my daughter to see it. If you haven’t read this book before or if it’s been a while and you want to re-read, grab it and read it before the movie comes out!

The high school years can be really hard with kids wanting to fit in and be part of the popular crowd. Stargirl tackles the perils of popularity and the thrill and inspiration of first love in an emotional tale.

For a limited time, Amazon is offering Free Shipping on ALL orders for everyone, not just Prime members! This offer applies to items sold by Amazon only and does not apply to add-on items.

Easiest Chili Ever – Hearty and Flavorful Dump Dinner

A family favorite, the Easiest Chili Ever – Hearty and flavorful dump dinner using seasoned chili beans.

Easiest Chili Ever

Any mamas suffering with me? Today was probably the 10th day of school interrupted in 2019. It’s only February, and we haven’t had a full week of school since December. I would raise a glass, maybe offer a toast with a bottle of an adult beverage, but on top of having all five kids off schedule, I also got Invisalign (clear braces) and am off any glasses of anything, except water… I digress. Yes, I am having my own pitty party of one.

Back to my family who never goes to school. Did you know that snow makes hungry kids turn famished? My children come inside form playing outdoors and they expect a full four course meal. Not only do they want non stop snacks, they want food to warm them up before they head back outside again. I go from making one meal a day (dinner) to making three large meals a day. One of our favorite go to meals for lunch and dinner is chili. The meal fills a crowd (when additional friends come over) and I can multiple ingredients depending on if I have more mouths to feed or if I need left overs.

If you have a favorite Chili recipe, like ours, upgrade your favorite chili with the hearty flavor of BUSH’S® Chili Beans. Simmered in their original chili sauces, made with a special blend of chilies, spices, garlic and onions, these are the beans to perfect your tried and true recipe!

SAVE NOW! Right now, head to Walmart and save one dollar when you buy any two cans of Bush’s BUSH’S® Chili Beans. Whether you prefer pinto, kidney, black, white, red or mixed beans, mild, medium or hot sauce, BUSH’S® Chili Beans offer the variations and flavors to satisfy you and your family.

Next time you need an easy recipe to fill a crow, try our Easiest Chili Ever. Just dump in the pot, warm, and simmer! Check out our white bean alternative, an Easy White Chicken Chili Dump Dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cooked and shredded chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 2-16oz cans BUSH’S® Chili Beans (yellow can)

  • 1 1/2 cups white cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried cumin
  • 2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoons onion powder

Don’t Forget the Garnish:

  • Cilantro, washed
  • Lime wedges
  • Tortilla chips

Not all of us have the budget or willingness to take the family on a vacation every spring. Staycations bring all the fun of a great vacation into your very own home or hometown. They typically involve extra special activities that you might do when you’re on a real vacation, like camping in your own backyard or setting up a kiddie pool in the backyard.

Whatever your reason for enjoying these staycation ideas, let us know how much you love them in the comments!

Deepen relationships and learn a new fun fact about your loved ones! Have an Instagram-worthy picnic in your favorite grassy park. Picnics are a great opportunity to escape those everyday distractions like the doorbell, phone ringing, dog barking, and all the other things that interrupt quality time. Bring dinner conversation cards to start discussion and help you get to know your child and/or spouse better.

No need to venture into the woods — camp out in your own backyard! At night, you and your family can study the sky. Download the Sky Map App and study planets, stars, and constellations. Frugal Mom Eh has some creative ideas for backyard camping, as well.

Rick Steves has some great movies. Live, Life and Learning has a free printable passport you can use for your adventure with the kids. Every night of the week can be a different country!

Fill a truck or trampoline with pillows and blankets and have an outdoor campout under the stars! You can also see this idea in our Visual Summer Bucket List for Kids.  Source and Source
