Finding a healthy, sugar-free deli meat you can eat on the Whole30 program can be tough. Since ham is a no no, try these ham and cream cheese roll ups with Applegate brand turkey instead of ham. The taste is great and you’ll be one step closer to your goals.

A quick, healthy and delicious lunch or snack no matter who you are or what your lifestyle is, this recipe is a better choice than the traditional pinwheel or roll ups with tortillas.

How to Make Ham Roll Ups

While this recipe calls for ham, feel free to use any deli meat of your choice. You can even wrap a leaf of Bibb lettuce around the outside for more green veggies or slice up some pickle to add to the middle of your roll ups.

Don’t be afraid to mix it up to your family’s taste, especially if your kids won’t eat ham roll ups with green onion.

Ham Cream Cheese Roll Ups with Green Onions

Ingredients:

Softened Cream Cheese (can use flavored cream cheese if you like)
Sour Cream
1 lb. Sliced Ham
1 Bunch Green Onions

You want equal amounts of sour cream and cream cheese.

Instructions:

For ham roll ups, the process is easy.

Mix equal parts sour cream and cream cheese.

Wash a green onion and cut down to the width of your ham.

Spread your cream cheese and sour cream mixture on your slice of ham.

Place your green onion on the right edge.

Tightly roll your green onion in the ham (like a big in a blanket.)

Using a sharp knife, make ham slices.

How to make into a cream cheese ham dip

You can make these ham snacks into a fun cream cheese green onion dip too.

Set cream cheese out to soften.

Chop green onions and ham into bite size pieces.

Mix sour cream and cream cheese together until smooth.

Add ham and green onions to cream cheese mixture.

Can serve immediately, but more flavorful after sitting a bit.

Quick & Easy Church Halloween Costumes

When I had one child, I think I was ready for Halloween around August. Even if I did not have my child’s costume (I always did), I knew what my child was going to dress up as. So things have changed. Preparing ahead isn’t a thing anymore ( I say that, preparing this post in May), in fact I am lucky to get it all done last minute. I have learned to perfect the last minute.

If you are last minute like me, we put together some quick and easy Halloween Costumes for Church. These are not necessarily biblical Joseph and Mary costumes, but they are fun costumes (some quite funny/punny) that are appropriate for church. The bible costume we did for Awana last year, was all done within a few minutes before we had to leave. Some of these costumes, you might want to do a few days ahead as paint or dyeing could be involved, others can be done in just a few short minutes!
