This scene is really easy to set up.

1. Gather your construction toys and Scout Elf doll.

4. Stage your Scout Elf on the construction trucks.

If you want an Elf on the Shelf, it is important to ask your parents. An Elf can only be welcomed to the family when a mom, dad or guardian agree. There are many places for where to find an Elf on the Shelf.

Why do we not have an Elf on the Shelf?

In some cases a family is assigned an Elf on the Shelf if Santa has observed naughty behavior during the year. This helps Santa Claus monitor naughty and nice behavior before delivering gifts on Christmas Day. Sometimes kids are already on the nice list and do not have an North Pole Elf in the home.

Why can you buy the Elf on the Shelf?

You can buy the Elf on the Shelf in the store because stores are adoption centers for Elves. In some cases, elves get shipped in boxes and their magic allows them to live there until they are adopted by a family.  Once their family names, them, they have magic to move.

If you are wondering, store bought elves are real! In some other cases, an Elf will just show up at a family’s home and is not a store bought elf. Official Scout Elves comes with a box and book.

Do all Elves look the same?

No, just like people a family Elf can come in different shape, sizes, and colors. Your Elf might look different from your friend’s elf. That is okay. Embrace differences.

In the case of emergency, parents can touch Elves. Parents touch do not have as much magic pull as children’s so hopefully magic is not lost. In the case of a real emergency, Elf might not be able to move for a new days.

What happens if Elf falls?

If Elf fall, Elf on the Shelf must not be touched. Use North Pole Magic Grippers to save Elf from the pet dog or getting stepped on.

When does the Elf move?

Elves move at night when boys and girls are sleeping. In cases where an Elf might have fallen asleep before the family, an Elf might have to move during the day. There is a special Elf letter for older kids about moving during the day.
