I love doing sweet notes and coupon sets for the kids. It’s always nice when there is a sweet design personalized to their taste. Today print out a free set of Valentine Coupon Books for Teens and Kids. Choose between cute monster, cupcakes and owls for the kids or hipster boys and girls for young teens. Fun coupons include “you choose the music all day, no chores today, dinner of your choice” and more! I bet they will appreciate the coupon value one day when they are turning it in. It’s a gift that keeps on giving.

Supplies:

Valentine coupon printable (Kids)*
Valentine coupon printable (Teens)*
Colored card stock (we used white and red)
Scissors or paper cutter
Hole puncher
Red and white twine
Pen/Ruler

1. Print out your printable here
2. Cut out your Valentine coupons with your paper cutter or scissors and leave a quarter inch of paper on the left side of each one
3. Now cut out a piece of white card stock 4 1/2″ x 2 1/4″
4. Stack your Valentine coupons together, making sure they all line up and place onto your white piece of card stock
5. Fold over the left side of the card stock so your 1/4″ of extra paper is covered
6. Hold your pieces together and use your hole puncher to punch 2 hole indents (this will make your hole punching even)
7. Now use your hole puncher to punch out each hole, two per card
8. Stack your cards back together and place the ends of an 8″ piece of twine through the bottom holes and tie the top into a bow

Do you hold any Easter traditions? While the story of Christ dying on the cross and rising on the third day is not new to my kids, it’s a good time to reflect on how truly miraculous our God is. Easter eggs and bunnies are fun, but there are other ways to instill Easter traditions with your kids. One of our very popular posts, is Christian Easter Crafts featuring Resurrection Eggs, Gardens, and Rolls. This post has some of the most crafty ways to tell the story of Jesus’s death and Resurrection, each providing the final story of an empty tomb.

Easter Bunny Tails Printable – Bag and Jar Topper

We LOVE Easter and enjoy giving treats to our friends, teachers and loved ones. Package up some of these puffy bunny tails (donut holes) and print a topper that is too cute for words! There are 2 ways to share these treats, in a mason jar with a decorated lid or in a ziploc bag, sealed with a paper topper. It’s just that simple to create an Easter goody! They are also a great Sunday School gift! Marshmallows would also be a delicious alternative to donut holes.

Tips: Our examples are printed on cream card stock. On the bag toppers, we folded our Ziploc Bag on top (underneath the label to shorten. We cut the circles out for the Mason Jars but a 3″ punch will work too. They would also be ADORABLE packaged in these Lavender Mason Jars!

Candy Dot Tutorial and Recipe

Candy Dots were a huge party of my childhood. My brother and I would sell lemonade on the golf course on Saturdays and then run to the corner store to use our quarters to buy these delicious candies. Being able to share these tiny candies with my children provides me a way to reminise and pass down this childhood favorite. Use this FREE Candy Dot Template and have fun making these timeless treats with your little ones.

Ingredients:

1 Pasteurized Egg White or 1 tbsp Meringue Powder
2 cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)
Food Coloring
FREE Candy Dot Template (see below)

Directions:

If you are using meringue powder, use 1 tbsp meringue powder and 3 tbsp water in plave of egg white.
Whisk egg white until frothy.
Slowly add powdered sugar until incorporated and peaks form.
Add vanilla flavoring if desired.
Divide equally into as many bowls as you want to color.
Add one drop of color at a time to each bowl to achieve desire color.
Beat until color is uniform.
Transfer each color to a zippered sandwich bag.
Print dot paper template and place under each paper you will be piping onto as you do it.
Clip a very small tip off of one corner of each bag and pipe dots onto unprinted sheets.
Allow to set for 2 hours before cutting strips apart.

Valentine Pillow Box Printable

We love this Pillow Box Template. It’s so easy to print, fold and fill! Give your sweetie chocolates, tart candies or maybe a gift card to their favorite ice cream shop or coffee spot. Anyway you fill it, they will love it! As far as Valentine’s go, it’s fairly gender neutral so, a gentlemen or your little guy will enjoy it just as well as your wife, friend or favorite girl. We also use this template for Spring treat giving too!

Supplies:

Valentine Pillow Box Printable (see below)
Cardstock

Get this pillow box printable and all of Frugal Coupon Living’s Free Printables. Enter your name and email address and we will send you a link and password for access to your free downloads.

Directions:

Download the Valentine Pillow Box Printable (above).
Fill the printer with cardstock and print out (the craft works fine with regular paper, but cardstock holds best).
Cut out the template.
Roll and place glue on the gray “glue here” tab.
Hold and set. We suggest making sure the glue is truly dry. Let the pillow box sit awhile while the glue continues to dry.
Once the glue is try, fold in the edges. Fill with candy or sweet Valentine notes.

Muffins with Mom Printable Invite

Hi five to muffins with mommy. I loved this celebration with my little kids every time it rolled around during the season of Mother’s Day. Below are some free printable invites for Muffins with Mommy. Fill out and enjoy. We suggest printing them and using a glue stick to paste them to cardstock or construction paper to boarder the outside.

We also wanted to provide an easy chocolate chip muffin recipe, in case dad is in charge of recipe or two! We love this chocolate chip muffin recipe.

Ingredients:

2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
3 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup almond milk (or regular milk, we like almond)
1 egg
1/3 vegetable oil
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Optional: white sugar and brown sugar.

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
Line your muffin pan with cupcake liners or baking cups.
In a bowl, combine flour, half of the sugar, baking powder, chocolate chips, and salt. Mix well.
In a separate, larger, bowl, place milk, oil, and egg. Whisk together.
Slowly place your dry ingredients and mix into your wet ingredients until dry ingredients are moistened.
Fill your baking cups a little over 3/4 full (not too much – we like them to be large, but not over flow!)
Bake 20 to 25 minutes until slightly brown on top.
Enjoy

Optional: Combine 3 tablespoons sugar to 2 tablespoons brown sugar and place on top of the muffin before baking.
