Gaylord National Christmas on the Potomac – and Gaylord Ice Coupon Code Cyber Monday Savings.

Gaylord National Christmas at the Potomac 2017

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year.…” After this weekends visit to the Gaylord National, I really can’t get the song out of my head… I am ready for Christmas!

Christmas on the Potomac

Visiting the Gaylord National was an amazing way to get into the holiday spirit. The resort and convention center were beautifully decorated. This year, the Christmas activities and spirit is magnified with everyone’s favorite green Christmas Character – Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas!

This year was imply amazing. It was the very first year the entire family could participate. I wondered if it would go well, the twins being just shy of 2 years old, but it was great. They seriously had the time of their life and I have never laughed so hard, I cried watching the twins come down the ICE! ice slide! You can imagine how great tears feel in 9 degree temperatures!

You and your family will marvel at more than 2 million holiday lights and acres of magnificent decorations, plus spectacular holiday activities and events that are sure to get you in the spirit of the season and create lasting family memories!

As always, our favorite part of ICE! is this ice slides. The kids enjoy that even their mom gets a spin in this winter wonderland of a playground. This year the sculptures were incredibly bright! Amazing colors that really stood out telling the story of The Grinch movie.

Fascinating details about ICE!

  • Walk-through holiday attraction, kept at a chilly 9 degrees
  • Two million pounds of ice sculptures hand-carved by 140 artisans from China.
  • Colorful ice sculptures depict the story of Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas!
  • The tradition – A stunning crystal clear ice sculpture scene of the Nativity – our favorite!

Dress warmly, but don’t fret. You are given a Blue Parka for your comfort. I personally forgot my winter coat and was fine – though I would suggest not forgetting yours! We wore our ski hats, ski gloves, wool socks, and scarves with our parka. I even had the girls put their ski coat below their parka. This native to Florida girls had to stay warm, 9 degrees is cold!

Back again this year is the 25-minute Cirque Dreams Unwrapped performance in the Gaylord National atrium. This was pretty incredible! All the great things of Cirque with a beautiful Potomac backdrop!

This Christmas, the Garden Atrium at Gaylord National comes alive with Cirque Dreams Unwrapped. Be dazzled with this spellbinding production of Seasons Dreamings combining breathtaking artistry, music and showmanship from around the world. The entire family can enjoy this uniquely inspired 25-minute Christmas fable performed on our atrium stage and in the air with spectacular costumes and soaring imagination. Don’t miss this new intimate entertainment extravaganza that will have everyone on the edge of their seat and feet!

Gaylord National Resort featuring ICE!

Christmas Village Activities

My household took advantage of this program for years. I can not express the fun we  shared around the family desktop.  With so many lessons and learning activities it kept the little ones laughing and progressing with every click.  My children loved to roam from the classroom to the zoo, to the farm and back to the classroom.  Their laughter even made me, the mom, happy. I was surely able to get a lot done!

Each day, after a parental login, your child will be greeted with a home-menu like the one below offering them multiple ways to start their day.   They can discover what is NEW or take part in the days Feature Active, explore the classroom, or choose to work ahead on their Things To-do.  Your child’s page will map his or her progress in an easy to understand  method that will keep them moving along.

A few of my favorite features I have only seen with ABCmouse; for my smallest child to be able to break each word up by syllables, record his voice, play it  back, and then pronounce the word correctly was great!  My oldest loved to give each lesson a try to earn tickets.  Then cash the tickets in for rewards and prizes for their room, hamster, fish, and etc.  Collecting tickets kept them both playing and asking for more learning time day after day!

Staples Online Printing: How to Print Documents

This post may contain affiliate links or ads. Read my privacy policy and disclosure policy here.

Staples Online Printing – How to print documents including how to upload printables to Staples Printing Services: have them shipped to your home or pick them up in the store. Directions to print B&W or color documents, in portrait or landscape orientation, print on card stock and coverstock for durability.

How to Order Printables at Staples

Staples Online Printing

Staples printing services is my first choice for all my printable needs on Frugal Coupon Living. There are many reasons, but these are my top three.

First, Staples Online Printing offers amazing quality. The printables I give you on Frugal Coupon Living often need to be printed on coverstock with bright colors (after all, we aren’t dull.) I find that the quality of prints is great and very vibrant.

Second, Staples printing department is great. The employees are friendly. They actually love when I use their services and look forward to the different documents I am going to submit for printing (different from the typical business projects they receive!) They now know me by name and by brand.

Third, I save. After all, this is Frugal Coupon Living. I save money on both printer ink and card stock and I do not feel like am during my print cartridges with high res images. I leave the supplies (the ink and paper) to the Staple pros to supply. It keeps me sane and not always be in a place of needing to order new printer ink! (It was all the time before I was using Staples print services.)

Staples Printing Services

How to Print Documents from Staples

We offer you many printables on Frugal Coupon Living. There are few places to find these prints.

  • Visit Frugal Coupon Living’s Shopify Store
  • Visit our Free Elf on the Shelf Printables Page
  • Visit our Free Printables Page

It will take you less than five minutes to upload your first document to Staples.

How to Print at Staples

  1. Have your PDF, Word Document or printable saved to a folder on your computer.
  2. Sign in or create a Staples account.
  3. Return to the Staples Printing Service Page.
  4. Scroll down to Self-Service printing.
  5. Go to Start Project.
  6. Go to Documents Printing.
  7. Select Browse.
  8. Select the Buy Now Button under color.
  9. In the left column, choose add file(s).
  10. Select upload files (to upload a file from your computer).
  11. Add more files or select the blue upload button.
  12. Select done.
  13. Give your job a name in the top left column.
  14. Choose color or B&W.
  15. Make sure your project is single sided. (You can choose double sided if you need.)
  16. Choose the correct orientation of your project – landscape or portrait.
  17. I changed my media to 8.5×11  67 lb card/coverstock (I prefer a card stock feel over printer paper feel. It makes the paper very durable and sturdy.)
  18. Save your product to Staples or select add to cart on the bottom right.
  19. Proceed to checkout.

You can choose to ship to your home or to pick up at your local store. Pay online and show your invoice when you pick up (I just show the order number on my phone at pick-up.) The order invoice will arrive in your email inbox.

Staples Printing Cost

Printing to Staples is extremely affordable. I print often and have a lot of content I want to have amazing color quality. I find Staples Printing Costs to be far lower than the card stock and printer ink it costs me to keep up with my demand at home.

A break down of pricing…

Staples Pricing Information on Documents

While you can get as low as $0.13 for a color copy, I am never printing more than 50 pages. I typically spend $0.53 for a color copy. Typically, I am purchasing no more than 10 at a time. I also choose a 67 lb card/cover stock media, so this adds around $0.10 per print. Typically my order cost is around $0.60 to $5.00.

Get free shipping to your local store for pick-up. This is typically what I choose unless I have an extra large order and just want to be lazy and not visit the store. Shipping starts at $9.99.

Staples Printing Coupon

There are a few ways to get Staples Printing Coupons.

First, be a loyal costumer. You can sign up for Staples Rewards here.

Staples Rewards

Staples Rewards

Benefits of Staples Rewards include $25 off Print & Marketing Services in store each year! Additional reward benefits include free next-day delivery on orders over $49.99. My favorite perk is earning $2 back in rewards per recycled ink cartridge (up to 20 per month.) That means you could earn up to $40 a month in recycled ink cartridges – Sign me up!

Second, pay attention to your receipts. Often during in-store pick-up for a document, I am given a coupon for my next Staples printing need. I just stack those receipt coupons in my car for next time.

Third, look online. You can look for Staples coupon codes and promo discounts on Savings.com.

I look forward to hearing about your experience with online printing services and if you too have adopted Staples Printing Services as your number one place to print your documents!
