Elf Mates are a beloved Christmas tradition that has been gaining popularity in recent years. An Elf Mate is an adoptable elf that partners with children to help Santa Claus bring back the true spirit of Christmas. Armed with a magical golden heart and a special mission from St. Nick, each workshop elf proves they are Santa’s truest pals by reminding us all why it is better to give than to receive.

Elf Mates are closely associated with The Elf on the Shelf, a children’s book that tells the story of how Santa Claus sends a Scout Elf to watch over children during the Christmas season. The Elf on the Shelf has become a cultural phenomenon, with millions of families adopting the tradition of hiding elves in different places each day to create a sense of magic and excitement during the holiday season.

But guess what, these Elf dolls were not always associated with the Lumistella Company. In fact, these workshop elves first originated from Dollar General. They gained popularity quite quickly, and in true Elf adoption fashion, the CCA and B (aka the home of The Elf on the Shelf and Scout Elf) quickly adopted these lovely friends into their line-up of The Elf on the Shelf friends.

There are three Elf Mates: the Toy Maker, the Chef, and the Cobbler. Each Elf Mate has a unique personality and mission, but all three are united in their desire to spread kindness and cheer throughout the holiday season. The Toy Maker creates toys to donate to children in need, the Chef bakes treats to share with those who are less fortunate, and the Cobbler collects shoes and clothing to donate to those in need. Together, they remind us all that the true spirit of Christmas is about giving, not receiving.

These elves are armed with a magical golden heart and a special mission from St. Nick, each Elf Mate proves they are Santa’s truest pals by reminding us all why it is better to give than to receive.

Elf Mates are designed to encourage kindness in children and remind them that the holiday season is not just about receiving gifts but also about giving and spreading joy to others through acts of kindness. Kindness Elves are a fun and interactive way for kids to learn about the true meaning of Christmas.

In addition to purpose, Elf Mates are different than Elf on the Shelf in that they are slightly smaller and can be touched. Elf Mates are about an inch smaller than Elf. Unlike Elf on the Shelf, Elf Mates come with velcro on their hands so Elf Mates’s hands easily connect. Elf on the Shelf does not come with velcro on their hands though you can use an Elf kit to add velco. Elf Mates are not wired.
