These Snowman Grahams are too cute and super simple to make! Decorating cookies for Christmas is a ton of fun but, it requires a lot of prep and clean up afterward. Any group will love these sweet treats!

Ingredients:

  • Graham crackers
  • Regular marshmallows
  • Jet puffed mallow bits
  • Wilton sparkle gel: red, green, and black
  • Wilton orange candy melts

Directions:

  1. Begin by cutting your marshmallows in half so that you have two circles for every marshmallow.
  2. Place three marshmallow halves onto each graham cracker like pictured.
  3. Now cut the sides off your orange candy melts to make a small triangle from each one.
  4. Use the sparkle gel as glue to glue it onto the center of the top marshmallow.
  5. Now with your black sparkle gel, paint on the snowman’s eyes, mouth, buttons, and arms.
  6. Again using the sparkle gel as glue, glue your marshmallow bits on the graham cracker, around the snowman to look like snow.
  7. To finish your snowman, paint on a scarf with your green sparkle gel, and use the red sparkle gel to make polka dots onto the scarf.

We had so much fun sharing our 31 Family Halloween Costume Ideas that we had to find more! Since we have a 10 month old baby at home, we had to hunt down some of the most creative baby Halloween costume ideas. Since I am pregnant with twins, I wanted to share with you some of the best homemade costumes, but for me, I had to find where to buy them. Below is a generous mix of DIY Halloween costumes and adorable costumes to buy for baby (when you don’t have time or energy to make them!)

Say Mooo! There isn’t much needed for this adorable cow costume.  We think a white Gerber onesie, some black felt, and latex bottle nipples will top off this costume perfectly!

Harry Potter Baby Halloween Costume from Love and Lion

This is a fun Baby Halloween Costume Idea. If your child is going to be Harry Pottery make sure you have your Gryffindor Scarf and Round Black Glasses. We also love these Harry Potter Baby Costumes.

Circus Animal Cookie Baby Costume from A Joyful Riot

Is this animal cookie not the cutest?  For this outfit, grab a pink jogger suit and create some felt circles from a pack of multi-colored felt sheets.

Little Hunter in a Truck Costume from Fallen in and Out of Love

I mean stop… this is just too much and so cute. Of course you need a green Little Tikes Camo Truck and your stuffed animal dear – Look for a fun camo costume too… Ready to go hunting?

Charlie Brown Baby Costume from Emily McCcall

This little man looks so much like my son that we mgiht actually go this direction for our Halloween Costume – I just fell in love with the costume. This outfit is handmade or you can pick a Charlie Brown Costume on Amazon.

Chicken Baby Halloween Costume from House of Turquoise

This baby chicken look unsure of his new identify. Find a fun bull costume for your pup and a chicken costume for baby.

T-Rex Baby Costume from Costume Works

PERFECTION with this homemade dinosaur cage!  Pick up a dinosaur costume for baby. We think chicken wire would go great inside the wagon and if you don’t have a plastic red wagon, you can find more HERE. I also found  a Jurassic Park Vinyl Decal.

Carrot Homemade Baby Costume from Creating Really Awesome Fun Things

It’s as simple as an orange long sleeve onesie and some green tulle on this homemade Halloween costume idea.

Mousetrap Halloween Baby Costume from Coolest Homemade Costumes

I mean were do we start with this adorable Halloween Costume Idea?  Pick up a mouse costume, some foam cheese, and it looks like a trip to home depot for wood board and some PVC pipe will be needed. Spray with gray spray paint.  Pull baby on a plastic red wagon, you can find them HERE.

Where’s Waldo Homemade Baby Costume from Make It Love It

This is an adorable homemade baby costume but we also found some Where’s Waldo Costumes for baby too!

Edible OREO Acorns

We think these OREO Acorns will be a hit with your family this Fall! Not only are they delicious but, they’re fun to make! The kids will love to help with every step of this recipe. Did you know that Oreos took their flavors to a whole new level and added peanut butter? YUM! They may look intricate to make but, in just a few simple steps you will have a bowl of OREO acorns to nibble. Happy Fall!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package peanut butter Oreos
  • 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz Chocolate chips or Chocolate Candiquick chips
  • 6 oz Butterscotch or Peanut Butter chips
  • Brown Sprinkles
  • Pretzel Sticks

Directions:

  1. Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature
  2. Put Oreos in the food processor and pulse until you have crumbs. You may need to split this into two batches depending on the size of your food processor.
  3. Once the cream cheese is softened, mix the Oreos and cream cheese together until well blended.
  4. Use a heaping tablespoon of the mixture to form into acorn shapes. To form, roll into an elongated ball, then pinch one end to make it slightly tapered. Place the acorns on a baking sheet with wax paper and place them in the freezer for 1 hour.
  5. After the acorns are hard, melt the chocolate. Dip each acorn into the chocolate with a fork. Tap the edge of the bowl to remove any excess chocolate – then place back on parchment paper. Continue until all acorns are dipped, and then allow them to come to room temperature to harden.
  6. Once the chocolate covered acorns are hardened, melt the butterscotch chips and pour brown sprinkles into a separate bowl.
  7. Dip the tops of each chocolate covered acorn into the butterscotch – then immediately dip into the sprinkles.
  8. Cut ½ inch pieces of the pretzel sticks. Dip the edge of each pretzel stick into the butterscotch and press into the top of each acorn. Return to baking sheet to allow the pretzels to set before serving.

Turkey Sugar Cookies (Pin it to Pinterest)

This recipe is the most simplistic. Make the attached sugar cookie recipe or grab a pre-made store brand. Use icing as glue and create decadent feathers with candy corn.

Turkey Nutter Butter Cookies (Pin it to Pinterest)

The most popular Thanksgiving Food Craft, the flexibility of this food craft is nice. How much you want to go with this cookie is up to you. You can have a stand up turkey or a lay down turkey instead.  Add left over Halloween candy to spruce up the design or keep it simplistic with icing and candy corn.

Rolo Pilgram Hats (Pin it to Pinterest)

On the show we made these with chocolate peanut butter cups but you can also do with caramel cups. Pick up store bought frosted fudge cookies and glue on the top of the hat to make the perfect little snack for your little Pilgrim.

Chocolate Covered Oreo Turkeys (Pin it to Pinterest)

This turkey craft is likely for experienced and steady of hands baker. Mix colors and create bright feathers on your Oreo Turkey using a pretzel as a template. Again, how little or how much of the activity and design you want to do is up to you.
