Valentine Food Craft | Tic Tac Toe Toast

Looking for a creative lunch or breakfast idea for the kids? This Valentine’s Day Food Craft is cute, easy, and unique. Tic-Tac-Toe Toast uses peanut butter and conversational hearts! See who wins first!

Tic Tac Toe Toast

Ingredients:

Bread or toast
Creamy peanut butter
Conversation hearts
Decorating bag
Spatula

Directions:

Fill your decorating bags halfway with creamy peanut butter and cut a small tip off the end.
Layout your bread or toast and use your decorating bag of peanut butter to draw a tic-tac-toe board onto each slice of bread.
Separate your conversation hearts into piles of two colors.
Now you can play tic-tac-toe on each slice of bread or toast with the conversation hearts and eat the peanut butter bread after.

Instructions

Fill your decorating bags halfway with creamy peanut butter and cut a small tip off the end.
Layout your bread or toast and use your decorating bag of peanut butter to draw a tic-tac-toe board onto each slice of bread.
Separate your conversation hearts into piles of two colors.
Now you can play tic-tac-toe on each slice of bread or toast with the conversation hearts and eat the peanut butter bread after.

Take this cold drink recipe outdoors this summer. This Simple & Southern Strawberry Sweet Tea is an easy tea recipe with a few ingredients!

Simple & Southern Strawberry Sweet Tea

We love the south! With the south comes some amazing sweet tea – all sorts of sweet tea (including our favorite Peach Iced Tea!) Love fruit, try mixing strawberries with iced tea. This is a very simple tutorial on how to get the most amazing Strawberry Sweet Tea – enjoy!

Ingredients

3 cups sliced Strawberries
Juice from 1 Lemon
5 regular Tea Bags
1 cup Sugar
2 quart Water

Directions

Steep tea bags in 1 quart boiling water for 5 minutes with 1/2 cup sugar.
Puree strawberries in food processor until liquified.
Remove tea bags and add remaining 1/2 cup sugar.
Add strawberry puree and lemon juice and stir well.
Strain liquid through cheesecloth or fine sieve.
Add remaining quart of water and chill.
Serve over ice.

Easter Bunny Footprint Cupcakes

Hippity hop hop Easter’s on its way….

We get so excited about Easter Food Crafts, and this Easter Bunny Footprint Cupcake didn’t disappoint. Make your favorite boxed cake mix and have fun with the footprint ingredients!

Ingredients:

Boxed cake mix (calls for water, oil, and eggs)
Vanilla frosting
Sweetened coconut flakes
Pink gel food coloring
White candy melts
White M&Ms

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line cupcake pans with cupcake liners.
Whisk together your cupcake mix with your eggs, oil, and water.
Fill your cupcake liners halfway with your cake batter, bake for 13-15 minutes (or as long as the box directions state.)
Let your cupcakes cool.
Once your cupcakes have cooled you can fill a decorating bag with your vanilla frosting and cut the tip off the end.
In a Ziploc bag, mix 2 cups of coconut flakes with a drop of pink food coloring, zip your bag, and mix the coconut with the food coloring with your hands on the outside of the bag. Scoop into a small bowl.
Frost each cupcake and dip the top of your cupcake into a cup of coconut flakes.
Dab a small amount of frosting onto the back of one candy melt and 3 white M&M’s and place onto the cupcakes to look like a paw print like pictured.
Enjoy!

One of the things I love about holidays is making yummy and cute holiday-themed treats. There are so many fun ones available for Valentine’s Day, and today we have for you Six Recipes to Make this Valentines’ Day.

How cute are these Rice Krispies monsters?? Kids will love these I Only Have Eyes for You Monsters, and you’ll have a blast making them!

These Signed, Sealed, Delivered Valentine Envelopes are too cute! I definitely need to use these because putting Valentine’s in small mailboxes is our tradition in our family.

I love anything dipped in chocolate, so I am totally going to make these Chocolate Dipped Cookie Dough Hearts. The kids will love these as well!

How adorable are these Mini Heart Cherry Pies?? These would make such a cute dessert for dinner, and they’re a great single-serving size.

If you love ice cream floats, you’re going to want to try these Cupid’s Strawberry Floats. I love strawberry soda, so these floats are high up on my list of desserts I love!
