ABCmouse.com is  ready to get your little one prepared for school with this year long membership at the lowest price I have seen of $45. Typically it is $15 a month, sot hat is like paying for 3 months and getting 9 months free!.  ABCmouse.com offers full online curriculum for kids Preschool and up with 6 levels, 450+ lessons, and more than 3000+ individual learning activities to keep their minds exploring – for hours!

ABCmouse Fall Flash Sale

Core Education Subjects Include:

  • Reading(the alphabet, phonics, sight words, children’s books)
  • Math (numbers, shapes, patterns, measurement)
  • The World Around Us (basic science and social studies)
  • Art and Music (drawing and coloring, tracing, paint-by-numbers, children’s songs, and more!

My household took advantage of this program for years. I can not express the fun we  shared around the family desktop.  With so many lessons and learning activities it kept the little ones laughing and progressing with every click.  My children loved to roam from the classroom to the zoo, to the farm and back to the classroom.  Their laughter even made me, the mom, happy. I was surely able to get a lot done!

Each day, after a parental login, your child will be greeted with a home-menu like the one below offering them multiple ways to start their day.   They can discover what is NEW or take part in the days Feature Active, explore the classroom, or choose to work ahead on their Things To-do.  Your child’s page will map his or her progress in an easy to understand  method that will keep them moving along.

  • More than 550 online children’s puzzles

For your comfort, mothers, ABCmouse.com creates a safe online learning experience with no advertisements, no pop-up ads, and no links to other websites.   With the Step-by-Step Learning Path it was easy for me to allow their online teacher to progress their minds for Guided Learning, or to even turn them loose  for some  Independent Learning – knowing they were secure with ABCmouse.com.

A few of my favorite features I have only seen with ABCmouse; for my smallest child to be able to break each word up by syllables, record his voice, play it  back, and then pronounce the word correctly was great!  My oldest loved to give each lesson a try to earn tickets.  Then cash the tickets in for rewards and prizes for their room, hamster, fish, and etc.  Collecting tickets kept them both playing and asking for more learning time day after day!

This is a limited time offer.

Family approved Minute to Win It game ideas. These kid-friendly games will make family game night the ultimate party. These Minute to Win it Games for Groups, Kids and Adults include two to one hundred players, ages zero to whatever!

Family Minute to Win it Game Ideas

I have shared before how much our family loves Family Game Night. Sometimes incorporating board games with a larger group can become difficult. These Family Approved Minute to Win it Games are kid appropriate but also fun with Minute to Win it Games for adults (and perhaps play with a couple cocktails or two!)

Some of this list of Minute to Win it Games can be done during the Christmas season – in fact, the winter season is the best time to do them because sometimes the cooler temperatures keep you in doors and you have plenty of family members to make the games all the more merrier.  You could incorporate our Christmas Name that Tune too! Holiday minute to win it games don’t only have to be during Christmas.  Play at Halloween, Thanksgiving, Spring Break and more.

Let us know your favorite!

Minute to Win It Party Post it Challenge

Take the post it note challenge. This is funnier than you think. How many post it notes can you put on your face in 60 seconds? Something tells me this looks easier than it is! See a list of World Record Date ideas on Dating Divas.

Minute to Win It Party Soda Can Chandelier

This Christmas or any other season, grab a stack of paper plates and empty soda cans for this Soda Can chandelier Minute to Win it Challenge.  Using 15 empty soda cans (with the tabs removed) see who can stack the tallest chandelier beginning with one soda can as the base. Your chandelier must stand for three seconds before collapsing!  Idea from Your Homebased Mom.

Minute to Win It Party Face the Cookie

Face the cookie in this cookie from the eye to the mouth Cookie Face Minute to Win it Game. Move cookies from your forehead to your mouth – no hands!  We recommend OREOs – yum! Idea on Catching Fireflies Gifts.

Minute to Win It Party Drawing Challenge

You will need a stack of paper plates for this challenge. This drawing game is a fun challenge. You must draw a snowman (for example) while the plate is on your head. Consider other ideas like a house, cat, dog, car, etc. Minute to Win It Game Idea from Housing a Forest.

Minute to Win It Party Wrap Around

Wrap around… see who can make the best mummy in one minute! Crepe paper streamers are best for this game, consider doing different colors for different teams or use colors to match an occasion – for example, Christmas time would use green and red.  This idea is from Play Party Plan.

Minute to Win It Party Say Ahhh!

Say Ahhh! Who can stack the most sugar cubes on their Popsicle stick in one minute… it looks like 12 might be the number to beat from Let’s Get Together.

Minute to Win It Pyramid Stack

Stack a 28 cups into a pyramid in 60 seconds… but wait, you must un-stack too according to the rules from Chica Circle’s Teen Minute to Win it Challenge.

Minute to Win It Yank Me

Yank Me requires some quick hands and reflexes. Stack cups on top of each other with paper slips in between each of them. Try to yank each paper without the cup falling and destroying your tower. The cup has to fall on another cup and then another cup and then another cup. Idea on Playtivities.

Minute to Win It On the Nose

Minute to Win it Games with Cotton Balls. Your Vaseline rubbed nose is your only tool in trying to move a cotton ball from one plate to another plate. “On the Nose” Minute to Win it Game requires each player pick-up a cotton ball with their nose and transport it to another plate without using their hands. Idea from Sophie’s Hope.

Minute to Win It Cotton Ball Challenge

Speaking of cotton balls, players are blindfolded and try to spoon cotton balls from the bowl on their lap into the bowl held on top of their head. Have the player sit down blindfolded. Give each player two bowls and a plastic spoon. Fill one of the bowls with cotton balls and put it on the player’s lap. Have the player hold the other bowl on his/her head. On go, have the player try to spoon cotton balls from the bowl on his/her lap into the bowl on his/her head. The player with the most cotton balls in the second bowl after a minute wins! Idea from Scrapbook Fairy.

Minute to Win It Suck it Up

Suck It Up Minute to Win It game is just like it sounds. Using straws players will need to suck the paper sheets and transfer them from one pile to another. Whoever does this first WINS the game. Idea from Playtivities.

Minute to Win It Junk in the Trunk

Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle until all of the ping pong balls are out of your Kleenex box in this Junk in the Trunk Minute to Win It Game from Housing a Forest.

Minute to Win It Elephant March

Put a baseball in pantyhose leg. Put pantyhose on head – careful, don’t cover your nose. Knock over the bottles with said pantyhose/baseball combination but waring, you can’t use your hands! Idea on The Chaos and the Clutter.

Minute to Win It M&M Elevator

Wrapping string around your ears, elevate M&Ms to your mouth on a pencil. First person to eat all three M&Ms wins. Directions on Nicole Blanc Photography

Family approved Minute to Win It game ideas. These kid-friendly games will make family game night the ultimate party. Two to one hundred players, ages zero to whatever! #FrugalCouponLiving #MinutetoWinItClick to Tweet

Minute to Win Movin’ On Up

Each player starts with a stack of 25 to 40 red solo cups with one blue cup at the top of the stack. Start by moving the top blue cup to the bottom of the stack, and continue moving cups from the top to the bottom until the blue cup is back at the bottom of the stack again. Idea from Happiness is Homemade.

Minute to Win It Bottoms Up

It’s like bowling but with your bottom, empty soda cans and a plastic Christmas Ornaments. No hands allowed in this fun Minute to Win It Game from Your Home Based Mom.

Minute to Win It Takeout Challenge

Minute to Win it Marshmallow games are great because everyone has marshmallows, right? How many mini marshmallows can you move to the takeout box – here’s the trick, you can only use chopsticks! Minute to Win it Game on My Honey’s Place.

Minute to Win It Saran Wrap Ball Challenge

Use this with the kids. This teen minute to win it games is one of my favorite games and I say, you must use full size candy bars (it’s just more fun that way!) Wrap candy until you make a giant Saran Wrap Ball.  First place all players in a circle. One person begins unwrapping the ball and keeps whatever falls out. The player to their left is constantly rolling two dice. Then they roll doubles, the ball is passed to the left as are the dice. The same things occurs.   Once the person to their left rolls doubles the ball gets passed again. This idea comes from Must Have Mom.

Minute to Win It Reindeer Antlers

This is such a silly game. Split into teams of three and give each group 15 to 20 balloons. One person places the pair of pantyhose on their head that have openings at the feet. Either the fastest team to blow up all balloons and stuff them into the pantyhose wins or the team that gets the most in a set amount of time wins! Idea from Party Games Plus.
