Spread Love, Not Germs Funny Hand Sanitizer Teacher Gift

Spread love, not germs!

One of the more common back to school supplies (other than the #2 pencil) for classrooms is hand santizer. We used it so much in our classroom. It is especially convenient when using a sink to washing your hands is not available. Show some appreciation for only a few bucks with this Hand Sanitizer Teacher Gift idea.

Make a First Impression!

While it’s not needed, it’s a really cute way to enter a classroom during Open House or Meet the Teacher day. It makes a great first impression. Did you realize a teacher spends more hours in the day with your child than you get to during the school year. This is a great way to respect and affirmation for the person who will be caring for your child.

What is Elf on the Shelf?

Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas Tradition. The tradition has a book and a elf doll. The book is poetic and in rhyme sharing the purpose of the Elf’s visits. The Elf visits each Thanksgiving. He/She goes and returns from the North Pole each evening. Every morning he can be found in a new location in the house. The Elf has been found in the refrigerator, fishing in the toilet, writing messages on the mirror or hanging from the lights. It is VERY IMPORTANT, the Elf is not touch each evening or his Christmas magic will be lost! Each family is able to name their special elf. The elves return to their home (Santa’s North Pole Work shop) every Christmas Eve. An Elf’s Story can also be found on DVD.

Wine and Cheese Party Ideas on a Budget

Need a good reason to spend time with friends and family? These budget-friendly Wine and Cheese Party Ideas, tips, and recipes will have you hosting a memorable and relaxing party. Wine party ideas include fun charcuterie boards, wine party games, and wine-tasting printables.

Wine and Cheese Party Ideas on a Budget

Wine and Cheese Party Ideas on a Budget

When preparing for your party, consider cheese boards an art form that involves much more than throwing some cheeses and crackers on a plate and serving it to guests. Putting together your first cheese & charcuterie board shouldn’t feel daunting. Follow a few basic pairing guidelines when selecting your ingredients, and don’t hesitate to try something new! We have Wine Party Ideas to match your budget and tips and recipes that you can prepare ahead, not only saving your dollars but saving your time!

Be an Expert – The More You Know

It’s important to be an expert in the field. Okay, maybe not a total expert but at least have a few fun facts in your back pocket. What is in a charcuterie board? Harcuterie (shahr-cute-uh-ree) is a French word for smoked, dry-cured, or cooked meats. Charcuterie itself describes an array of preserved and prepared meat dishes, such as cured sausages, hams, bacon, and more. These aged meats add the perfect addition to a Wine and Cheese Party.

Throwing a Wine Party Hosting Tips

If you are doing the hosting, a few at-home wine party ideas might help. I could have shared almost our entire post of our Party and Hosting Tips in this round-up. Be sure to look at that post as many ideas overlap for hosting a Wine tasting party. In addition to these fun ideas for a white and cheese party at home, make sure you have the right drink. Wine tasting party theme needs different kinds of wine.

Grab a few bottles of wine including

  • Chardonnay
  • Cava
  • Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Pinot Noir
  • Sauvignon Blanc
  • Prosecco
  • Merlot

Include a grape variety of both red wine and white wine. Know the location of origin for each bottle of wine and try different bottles both locally and around the worth. Popular wine regions might include Argentina, Chile, Napa Valley, New Zealand, South Africa, and the Champagne region of France. If you can not have different wine glasses for a bottle of each wine, then have something to easily rinse out each glass in between tastings.

Wine Party Printables

A few printables help create a wine party ambiance and a bit of fun entertainment. Visit our Wine Tasting Party Games to learn more about what to do at a wine-tasting party. We include printable wine-tasting scorecards, tasting notes templates, and wine party games.  Make sure to get to the bottom of the post as we have a very exciting free wine party printable for you – cheese markers to label your cheese and snack boards.

They are plenty of low-cost wine and cheese party ideas on a budget. It’s possible to host a five-star wine party with a few frugal-friendly wine party ideas. Follow these DIY wine party ideas that are not only Pinterest-worthy aesthetically, but are also creatively low-cost and doable.

Stay organized with this Goal List and To Do List Post-It Notes Download. Print and keep on your family command center to keep track of assignments you need to complete. Peel and toss your sticky note when done!

To Do List Post it Notes Download

Anyone else as obsessed with post it notes as I am? I love them so much that I try to conserve how often I use them, but then when going into different drawers and cabinets I realize I do not lack them. I mean I have dozens of notepads. I silently find humor in my desire to persevere the use of them, they aren’t that expensive to replace.

I won’t bore you with why I love Post-It notes so much… but I will take a minute to tell you why. They are easy to access and they have a sticky background. Not a harsh background either. You can peel and stick them easily to different locations. They aren’t too large and you can use different colors for different subjects – separate colors by family members or purpose.

Even if you aren’t color coding your reasons for using sticky notes, we have a really cool resource for you. I made this Goal List and To Do List. You can print many of them and write directly on them or perhaps print one, laminate it, and then rotate the notes as you finish the task!

Printing Tip: When printing, I prefer to use print services like Staples. It saves on my ink and paper needs and I can pick it up from the store. Print in bulk for items that you might need printed often (grocery lists) and have items laminated to reuse over and over for items like daily checklists!

Goal and To Do List Supplies:

  • Goal and To Do List Printable (see below)

There’s a snake in my boots! Pull off the perfect Toy Story Party with this Toy Story Printable. A cute touch to our mason jar pudding cups for your favorite Woody fan!

Toy Story Printable & Pudding Cups

There’s a snake in my boot! Anyone else ready for the newest release of Toy Story? Toy Story 4 comes to theaters June 20, 2019. It’s hard to believe this beloved movie has been around almost 25 years (does anyone else find that hard to believe?) It is such a classic.

Last Halloween, our family was the cast of Toy Story. It all started out with the Woody and Buzz Lightyear pajamas that I got the twins. Then we all created a costume around the twins first Halloween.

Toy Story Costume

I love doing themed things when it comes to the twins and the best friends of Woody and Buzz, fit perfectly. In order to dream about a future celebration for our Woody and Buzz, we created some Toy Story printables for your next Toy Story Party including this snake in my boots printable to add to your Chocolate Pudding Mason Jar Cups.

Mason Jar Chocolate Pudding

  • 2 cups milk

  • 4 small jelly mason jars

  1. Prepare instant pudding according to package instructions. Spoon ½ cup of pudding into each jar.
  2. Place one gummy worm into the pudding, hanging one end over the edge of the jar.
  3. Top each pudding cup with crushed chocolate sandwich cookies.

Save this recipe for later. Print your recipe and add it to your recipe box or recipe binder! This is my favorite Recipe Binder – I get tired of printing the same recipe over and over. A binder keeps me organized and gives me a place to store my recipes.

Toy Story Party Printable – Buzz Lightyear Float

grape soda floats

Anyone ready for Toy Story 4? It’s hard to believe the original Toy Story was released in November 1995. I was in 8th grade and I seriously would have thought it was a movie that was released closer to the ages of my kids! I think the fact that it still holds love by so many, just goes to show it’s a classic that will be around for a long time.

Last Halloween, our family was the cast of Toy Story. It all started out with the Woody and Buzz Lightyear pajamas that I got the twins. Then we all created a costume around the twins first Halloween.
