Instant Pot Cheat Sheet. Are you loving everyone’s favorite kitchen appliance? The Instant Pot pressure & multi cooker makes dinner in 30 minutes or less, as if you had your meal cooking in a slow cooker all day. Is Instant Pot worth it? What size Instant Pot do I need? All these questions and an Instant Pot Cooking Times Chart to get you started!

Instant Pot Cheat Sheet

Instant Pot Cheat Sheet Printable and Download

Growing up, did your mother love her pressure cooker? I remember how much my mother insisted I had a pressure cooking added to my wedding registry. You know what, in the 10 years of ownership, I used it twice. I was terrified every time I used it too.  Then came the Instant Pot changing the pressure cooker experience for us all!

Make Life easier with America’s beloved Instant Pot, the programmable pressure & multi cooker. This kitchen appliance speeds up cooking time exponentially using up to 70% less energy.

Is Instant Pot Worth It?

Is Instant Pot worth it? It really depends. If you are someone who would rather prep a meal in the morning and let it cook all day, The Slow Cooker might still be your best friend. However, with the Instant Pot, you can still get that savory, slow cook taste in 5 to 30 minutes! If you are someone who prefers 30 minute (or less) meal preps in the evening, this programmable pressure & multi cooker is your solution!

Instant Pot Sizes

First let’s talk Instant Pot Sizes. For me, this is actually really important. We are a family of seven (with four hungry boys and two pre-teens), so a Instant Pot Ultra Mini is going to be terrible for my family. Instant Pot comes in three sizes so it’s really important to discover which Instant Pot is best for my family.

What Size Instant Pot Do I Need?

Help! Which Instant Pot is right for me? Figuring out which cooker works best for your family can be tricky and the Instant Pot website is actually very helpful.

The first thing you need to ask yourself is how big an Instant Pot do you need? It is important to know, there are three Instant Pot sizes – Mini, 6 quart and 8 quart. Within each sizing, there are four to eight different styles and features. That means, currently, there are 17 different Instant Pot Sizes and Styles. How do you possibly choose the right one?

Hidden Vegetable Recipes for Picky Eaters

Hidden Vegetable Recipes for Picky Eaters aka my kids (and your kids!) Hidden veggies in desserts, breads, mac and cheese and more. Enjoy.

Hidden Vegetable Recipes

Hidden Veggie Recipes for Picky Eaters

When introducing food to my babies, I always introduced vegetable puree first.  My second child would beg for broccoli growing up. I recall picking her up from her crib one day after nap and she asked me for broccoli and a Popsicle. It was a staple in our home. Somewhere between child three (who is 14 months older than the twins) and child four and five (whoa that was fast), I went wrong. We went from a family of four to a family of seven in a years time. It was quick and I guess my mom award got lost in the “extra” people.

The twins, who are 19 months, and my two and a half year old struggle to eat greens. I make myself feel better by getting all the protein in their diet I can, but man – what did I do wrong? Because I lost my mojo, I had to become a trickster.  I was first introduced to hiding veggies in food with this book Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Get Your Kids Eating Good Food. I decided to accept the challenge and find additional recipes my kids would love.

Are you looking for something fun to do with the kids? These Fish Marshmallow Pops are going to do the trick! As a mom of multiple little boys, I can say that we’re always looking for something fun and simple to do and these marshmallow candy pops on sticks are the solution to beloved cake pops.

Fish Marshmallow Pops

Not only is this recipe and craft fun to make, it’s also delicious to eat. My boys love picking up the little candy pieces and putting them into their mouths. I can’t blame them, I often do the same thing when I’m cooking. Tasting is part of making the recipe!

With many children, it’s important to find something we can all do together. Time in our home is precious! I don’t want to spend hours putting a craft together. Do you? Plus, it’s hard to keep the attention span of five children. I love that my older girls can help with this and the younger boys enjoy it too.

I feel as though this craft is great to do after you watch a good Disney movie too! Who would agree with me? “Under the Sea” refers to the movie the Little Mermaid. This movie has ALWAYS been one of my favorite movies!  If you’re a Disney fan, I’m sure you’ll also love these Disney inspired Under the Sea Marshmallow Pops!

Taste wise, they are so delicious. Like, you think you’ll be able to only eat one, but you’ll eat many more. If you’re looking for something easy to make with your kiddos, make these! They’re easy, fun, and so delicious!

Fish Marshmallow Pops Ingredients

How to Make Marshmallow Pops

A few simple marshmallow directions…

First, carefully place sucker sticks into each marshmallow.

Melt the candy melts according to package directions. Place in a tall jar so it’ll be easier to dip.

Dip a marshmallow into the chocolate and tap off excess, roll the top into the nerds and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Let dry for a few minutes before you place the fish on or they will just slide off. Place 1 to 3 fish on each marshmallow.

Let dry and enjoy this fun treat!

How Long to Marshmallow Pops Last?

Well first, these will be eaten fast. So it’s a silly question. The shelf life of marshmallow pops depends on the best before date and how they are stored.

First, you can see how long it will take for your marshmallows to expire by reading the bag. Since you moistened them and dipped them in chocolate, the shelf life will go down a lot. I suggest storing in an air tight container and eating within the week (if they last that long before sticky fingers get to them.)
