This easy simple charcuterie board snacks in a jar is a spin on the traditional charcuterie boards. It’s much easier, in our opinion! Great for the beginner, add this fancy mason jar snack to your next Wine & Cheese Party.

Simple Charcuterie Board Snack

Super Simple Charcuterie Board Meat & Cheese Snacks in a Jar

Charcuterie boards are everywhere these days. Go to Pinterest, and you can find thousands of ideas for making your own charcuterie board. We have made some fun snack boards in the past. They are super cool and very appealing to the eye.

But sometimes, I need an easier way to feed my kids. When they get hungry, you have less than 10 minutes to prepare something that is filling – and you know mama wants it to be somewhat healthy too! That’s why I have come up with a very simple charcuterie board idea.

Rather than getting out the wooden board and all the small bowls, all you need is a mason jar and some bamboo sticks or appetizer picks – whatever you have on hand. I have a list of ingredients below for meat and cheese snacks in a jar, but you can substitute other meats or sides depending on what the crowd you are feeling likes. You could also make an all-fruit snack in a jar, if you wish.

One simple charcuterie board jar can feed one adult or two kids, so make sure you make enough jars up for snack time!

DIY Charcuterie Board Ingredients:

A few simple ingredients make this small charcuterie board. Multiple ingredients as needed.

Charcuterie Board Shopping Lis:

  • Mixed nuts
  • Sliced pepperoni
  • Sliced salami
  • Mini pickles
  • Black olives
  • Cheese cubes
  • Babybel cheese

Other Materials:

  • Half pint jars
  • Bamboo sticks
  • Appetizer picks

How to make a Simple Charcuterie Board in a Mason Jar

How to build a Charcuterie Board:

  1. Fill each half-pint jar half full with the mixed nuts.
  2. Place each food on the bamboo sticks or appetizer picks.
  3. Put each stick inside the jar, using the nuts as a place for them to rest securely.

Save this recipe for later. Print your recipe and add it to your recipe box or recipe binder! This is my favorite Recipe Binder – I get tired of printing the same recipe over and over. A binder keeps me organized and gives me a place to store my recipes.

Save these kids breakfast recipes for the back to school season. Easy and healthy recipes your kids will enjoy and you can quickly make in the morning or prep ahead.

Kids Breakfast Recipes

Kids Breakfast Recipes for Back to School

My kids eat pretty healthy. This is for two reasons. First, I am a good mom. Second (and most truthful), I will beat those kids to a full bag of chips. Not the individual sized chips. I mean, I will out eat a family-sized bag of Doritos Chips.  Because this last fact is scarily true, I can’t buy unhealthy food in our house. I can’t control my own urges. Knowing my own limitations and also, being a good mom, I worked hard to find Kids Breakfast Recipes in preparation for Back to School.

These breakfast recipes are not only recipes the kids will enjoy but also recipes I (the good parent, mother) will enjoy. The ingredients will not make me feel sick, I mean the kids feel sick, at the on-start of the day. Many you can prep ahead over the weekend, and pull out on a weekday morning.

Peanut Butter Banana Overnight Oats (Jessica in the Kitchen) are so easy to make! They take 5 minutes to prep, and are made overnight in your fridge!

Cranberry Coconut Chocolate Chip Granola Bars (Eating Bird Food), need a say more?

Check out this unique Kids Breakfast Recipe, a Hidden-Egg Bagel Sandwich (Toaster Oven Love). A donut pan and scooped-out bagels make for this fun and mess-free back to school breakfast.

These Funfetti Breakfast Muffins (The Pinning Mama) might have your kids jumping out of bed!

Smoothies are my go to breakfast recipe. My kids always get jealous. I found this Banana Breakfast Smoothie (Marsha’s Baking Addiction) has perfect ingredients for the kids. PS I would sneak in some spinach. Just sayin’!

No one can say no to cookies. Banana Bread transforms into Banana Bread Breakfast Cookies (Mile High Mitts).
