Cheese Stick Snowmen

Cheese sticks are always a hit for snack time! Dress up your cheese stick like a snowman with ribbon, some drawn buttons and a nose and these cute FREE PRINTABLE hats! We can’t get over how adorable this bunch is! As much as we love sweet treats, most holiday parties are brimming with them and need a healthy option, these cheese stick snowmen are it!

Materials:

Mozzarella cheese sticks
Ribbon

Double-sided tape
Sharpies – Black and Orange
Scissors

Get these snowmen hat printables and all of Frugal Coupon Living’s free printables. Enter your name and email address and we will send you a link and password for access to your free downloads.

Directions:

Print out your free snowmen hat printables.
Place a small piece of double-sided tape onto the back of a paper hat and place at the top of the cheese stick (use the side of the cheese stick w/no logo showing on the packaging).
Using the black sharpie, place two dots under the hat for eyes. Using the orange sharpie, draw a carrot nose.
Switching back to the black sharpie, draw five small dots in an upward angle under the nose to create the snowman’s mouth.
Cut a piece of ribbon and wrap it around the cheese stick under the face to make the snowman’s scarf. Tie it into a knot and trim it to an appropriate length.
Using the black sharpie, draw 3 dots down the center (under the ribbon scarf).

Toilet Paper Bunny Tutorial

Supplies

1 Roll Of Toilet Paper
2 Sheets White Tissue Paper
1 Sheet White Construction Paper
1 Sheet Pink Construction Paper
1 Black Marker
2 Plastic Eyes (Dollar Tree as a whole bag for $1)
Hot Glue
3 Cotton Balls

Directions

Lay the two sheets of tissue paper flat on the table. One on top of the other.
Set the roll of toilet paper in the center of the tissue paper with one hole at the top. Carefully tuck the ends of the tissue paper into the hole. Slowly work your way all the way around, until all the tissue paper is tucked in your bunny’s body.
Now take your cotton balls and slightly pull them apart, so that they are nice and fluffy. Add three small dots of hot glue around the hole with all the tucked in tissue paper. Place the cotton balls on all three dots. This should now be covering the opening and creating the tail for the bunny.
On the other end glue the plastic eyes about a half inch down form the edge of the roll.
Cut out a few strips of white construction paper to make whiskers. Also cut out a oval shape nose from the pink constriction paper. Hot glue these at the center of the hole. Even with the opening being covered you will be able to slightly see it. Add a dot of hot glue and then lay the whiskers down first and then the nose.
Take your black marker and draw a line under the nose making a J facing both ways.
Last we need to make the ears. This can be a bit trickier and you can do it differnet that I have.
Take the white construction paper and fold it in half. Then cut out a long oval shape that is flat at one end. By having your paper folded you sould end up with two ears after cutting. Fold them so that there is a cress down the center lenght ways. Now at the end of a slit about an in long. Then add a fold at the top of that slit. Fold the two pieces over. Then fold a fold at the top of that slit. Fold the two slit pices over each other, making somehting similar to the corner of a box. Tuck the ends of those pices up and down to lock them in place.
Now on the top of the roll just above the eyes, glue an ear. Make sure that the boxed edge we made is facing the oppostie side of the eyes so you cannot see them when looking at the face.
After they are glued in place carefully bend them over and glue them to the back end with a small dot of hot glue.

Gingerbread Sugar Scrub

You’ll feel revitalized with all of these lovely spicy smells! Make a few extra jars to give as gifts and label them with this adorable FREE Printable! So sweet!

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
¾ cup coconut oil (or other carrier oil)
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon allspice
½ teaspoon ginger
½ teaspoon nutmeg
Additional Materials:
Mason-style jars with lids
Printable gift tags (print on white cardstock for best results)
Optional: Ribbon to wrap around jars

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Mixing with clean hands helps to warm up the coconut oil and better blend into the other ingredients.
Scoop into mason jars and attach lids tightly. (Jars shown in photo are Ball Collection Elite Design Series Half Pint Jars)
Cut out printed labels for jars. Use double sided tape or a strong glue to place a label on top of each jar. You may also use a single hole punch to punch a hole in the top of the gift tag and wrap it on the jar using a thin ribbon.

This recipe yields 2.5 cups of body scrub.

To use the Gingerbread Sugar Scrub: Gently apply a scoopful and scrub onto wet skin in a circular motion – concentrating on dry areas and rough patches. Rinse skin clean using warm water.

Sugar Scrub should be stored at room temperature and stays fresh for up to 4 weeks.

Using a hot glue gun, add a line of glue to the end of one edge of the ribbon.

After glue is set, pull the ribbon through to allow the glued edges to be hidden behind the tag.
Place the tag on the neck of a bottle of wine before gifting.

Candy Dot Tutorial and Recipe

Candy Dots were a huge party of my childhood. My brother and I would sell lemonade on the golf course on Saturdays and then run to the corner store to use our quarters to buy these delicious candies. Being able to share these tiny candies with my children provides me a way to reminise and pass down this childhood favorite. Use this FREE Candy Dot Template and have fun making these timeless treats with your little ones.

Ingredients:

1 Pasteurized Egg White or 1 tbsp Meringue Powder
2 cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)
Food Coloring
FREE Candy Dot Template (see below)

Directions:

If you are using meringue powder, use 1 tbsp meringue powder and 3 tbsp water in plave of egg white.
Whisk egg white until frothy.
Slowly add powdered sugar until incorporated and peaks form.
Add vanilla flavoring if desired.
Divide equally into as many bowls as you want to color.
Add one drop of color at a time to each bowl to achieve desire color.
Beat until color is uniform.
Transfer each color to a zippered sandwich bag.
Print dot paper template and place under each paper you will be piping onto as you do it.
Clip a very small tip off of one corner of each bag and pipe dots onto unprinted sheets.
Allow to set for 2 hours before cutting strips apart.

We love our Teachers and want to gift them with something that shows how much we appreciate their time and dedication to our kiddos.
