Easy-to-make Chicken Parmesan Bread with RAGÚ Simply Sauce. This Alfredo style french loaf uses a RAGÚ Simply Sauce with half the fat and calories made with cauliflower and milk. Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Mizkan. All comments and opinions are my own.

Easy Chicken Parmesan Bread

Chicken Parmesan Bread

I need easy dinners. I need easy dinners that please a diverse group. I need easy dinners, that please a diverse group and fill bellies.

As you all know, I am a mother of five. With are family with a large spread of ages, the twins being 19 months old and myself (the oldest) being a number that I will not share.  When cooking, my goal is to please everyone with one recipe. Baby food went out the window rather quickly in replacement of “what the family eats, you eat!” In addition to creating happy taste buds, I also look to fill tummies. Full bellies = happy kids (and a happy husband!) For example, the twins were barely on the growth chart when they were born. They went form 5 lb preemies to soaring above average on height and weight. This home fills stomachs. And don’t let the 19 month old age fool you; these growing boys can eat more than my 11 year old.

This recipe came to me from a friend and I quickly adapted to my easy, efficient lifestyle. Not many ingredients are required and I can quickly put the meal on the table getting the recipe form kitchen to plate in under an hour with very little prep. I don’t mind cook times, just don’t make me too involved in the preparation of the meal!

RAGU Simply Garlic Parmesan at Walmart

Did you know?

I have a secret ingredient – don’t tell the kids. We had the opportunity to work with RAGÚ Simply Creamy sauces and I was eager to create our own family version of my friend’s Chicken Parmesan Bread recipe.  I personally found it appealing that these sauces were made with milk and cauliflower, replacing traditional heavy cream.  It contains half the fat of RAGÚ’s Classic Alfredo Sauce, with the same delicious taste and texture. That sounds like a win to me!

Look at these simple ingredients.

Chicken Parmesan Bread Ingredients:

  • 1 jar of RAGÚ Simply Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
  • Seasoned chicken (we used extra virgin olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper)
  • French bread
  • 1/4 Cup butter, melted
  • 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 Cups mozzarella cheese

Chicken Parmesan Bread Ingredients

You will need to precook your chicken, but I have no problem with that. As long as there is little prep from me in the kitchen. Look at these easy dinner recipe directions.

Chicken Parmesan Bread Directions:

Begin by preheating your oven to 375 degrees.

Add a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) to the bottom of a baking dish, place the chicken on top and top with a drizzle of EVOO.

Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt and pepper onto the chicken and bake for 30-40 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.

Once the chicken is cooked, reduce your oven temp to 350 degrees.

Cut your chicken into small bite sized pieces.

Next, cut your French bread in half and then cut each half into half again ( a total of four pieces.)

Place each French bread piece with the crust side down onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

Mix your butter and garlic together and heat for 30 seconds in the microwave.

Brush the garlic butter evenly on the bread.

Add about 3 spoonfuls of RAGÚ Simply Creamy Garlic Parmesan with Cauliflower Sauce of each piece of bread and spread out evenly.

Add cut chicken breasts on top of the sauce.

Top each loaf with 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350 and enjoy!

Eager to try this Chicken Parmesan Bread recipe yourself?

Save money with your Valpak envelopes. Look for a 75¢ coupon for RAGÚ Simply Creamy sauce and redeem it at your local at Walmart store. At $1.66, that brings the price of this secret ingredient to only 91¢. So half the calories and almost have the price! Sweet.

You could also try another one of the new RAGÚ Simply Creamy sauce flavors. We used Garlic Parmesan but feel free to replace that with their Alfredo sauce.

Pair your Chicken Parmesan Bread with a veggie.

I suggest serving with broccoli or another green. Cook the broccoli in the oven with your bread (350, 30 to 35 minutes) prepping with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper. You could use any extra sauce to serve over the broccoli, as well.

Don’t let the busy weeknight get you down. These Family-friendly Sheet Pan Suppers are easy dinner recipes for individuals on the go! Download the printable sheet pan cheat sheet for sheet pan meal prep to make your own personalized supper diner recipes.

Family Sheet Pan Suppers

Sheet Pan Dinners

When the twins were born — my fourth and fifth children — my family and I ate Crock-Pot Dinners for an entire YEAR. I kid you not. Except for a select few meals and the occasional dinner out, my slow cooker became my best friend. It’s easy and efficient, especially when my hands are full with the kids. When I told my friend about my Crock-Pot addiction, she suggested an alternative: quick, delicious, and easy sheet pan dinners!

Why Sheet Pan Meals?

Imagine, your whole family is fed, you are all ready to wind down the night after dinner and you get to the sink to clean up… But you only have to clean one pan! Yep, these sheet pan recipes will feed a family of four or more and make cleanup a breeze. From sheet pan chicken and potatoes to sausage and veggies, there’s a sheet pan recipe for any ingredients you might have on hand.

How do you Make a Sheet Pan Meal?

Just pick your favorite protein, veggies, and flavors. Toss them together in a bowl, spread them out on your favorite sheet pan, and roast them at a high temperature. Before you know it, you’ll have an incredible dinner on the table!

Want to make sheet pan meal prep personalized and super easy. We have amazing sheet pan suppers below, however, if you want to create your very own Sheet Pan Dinner Recipe, follow this Sheet Pan Cheat Sheet. Download, print, and save it in your kitchen. It lists ingredients you can add to your one-pan recipe and then it changes the cooking time based on the protein, starch, and vegetable you chose to put on your sheet pan!

Sheet Pan Dinner Recipe Printable Cheat Sheet

Sheet Pan Meals Tips and Tricks

  1. The first step to perfecting sheet pan suppers is getting a high-quality baking pan. I purchased a Commercial Grade Cooking Sheet over ten years ago and it is by far the best baking sheet I’ve ever used. It’s outlasted every single one of my old baking sheets. Go Commercial. It will last forever!
  2. I don’t love doing dishes. Who does? Okay, I do if they go in the dishwasher. Parchment Paper and Aluminium Foil are a must-have for me when I’m making sheet pan suppers. Invest in your parchment paper and aluminum foil. If you are getting Parchment Paper Sheets (you can’t go wrong with 200 sheets), grab a larger size and cut down. If it’s too small for your pan, you end up cleaning anyways!
  3. I’m absolutely obsessed with good kitchen tongs. The OXO Good Grips 9-Inch Locking Tongs with Nylon Heads are THE best I’ve ever used. Plus, they lock into shape to make storage easy – no more getting stuck in your drawer!
  4. Most sheet pan suppers call for Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This Evo Oil Sprayer Bottle is great for sheet pan meals — and tons of other recipes — because it’s refillable and you can control exactly how much olive oil you use. Mine is practically attached at the hip when I’m cooking!
  5. Mix all your ingredients in a bowl before spreading them out on your sheet pan so your spices and flavors are evenly distributed. I love my nesting, non-stick stacking bowls because you can select the exact size you need for any recipe. They store easily AND they don’t slip and slide around on the counter. Win-win.

Kids Breakfast Recipes

Kids Breakfast Recipes for Back to School

My kids eat pretty healthy. This is for two reasons. First, I am a good mom. Second (and most truthful), I will beat those kids to a full bag of chips. Not the individual sized chips. I mean, I will out eat a family-sized bag of Doritos Chips.  Because this last fact is scarily true, I can’t buy unhealthy food in our house. I can’t control my own urges. Knowing my own limitations and also, being a good mom, I worked hard to find Kids Breakfast Recipes in preparation for Back to School.

These breakfast recipes are not only recipes the kids will enjoy but also recipes I (the good parent, mother) will enjoy. The ingredients will not make me feel sick, I mean the kids feel sick, at the on-start of the day. Many you can prep ahead over the weekend, and pull out on a weekday morning.

Kids Garden Journal

How is your summer going? We are doing okay. Since moving from Florida, I am grateful for hot days that still offer cooler evenings. We didn’t get much of that in the south. It was a hot day and night!

Summers in DC have evolved. I want from having very young kids, to elementary aged kids, to very young kids (again!) It has caused me to get creative with activity having a range of ages and desired activities. As my toddler has aged, and his little brothers trail behind him, we have kept to our home. It isn’t for lack of desire to go out, it’s for fear to go out.  Chasing after 18 month old twins is so hard – they split and run different directions. To appease my (almost) 3 year old’s heart, we have tried to find creative toddler crafts and science activities on Pinterest. I am so grateful for Pinterest, anyone else?

If you are trying to busy your little one’s summer bucket list, take a look at this Garden Journal. We suggest grabbing a clip board and a starter gardening kit for kids. Let us know what you plant!

…And mom, if you are not a friend of nature, remember this can be inside too!

Remarkable Teacher Gift Idea

Looking forward to a re-MARK-able school year!

Show some love to a teacher with this creative bookmark template. Add your favorite markers – dry erase, highlighters or Sharpies (our favorite), and gift to a teacher on the first day of school or at Open House.

Make a First Impression!

While it’s not needed, it’s a really cute way to enter a classroom during Open House or Meet the Teacher day. It makes a great first impression. Did you realize a teacher spends more hours in the day with your child than you get to during the school year. This is a great way to respect and affirmation for the person who will be caring for your child.
