Peapod Thanksgiving Savings – $25 off, Free Grocery Delivery

Peapod Thanksgiving Savings – Grab $25 off your purchase plus 60 days free delivery. Order meal kids, organics, baby food, pantry staples and more.

Peapod grocery delivery has been the best thing I have done for myself since having the twins!

The Peapod November offer has expired but there are always new savings with THIS LINK. Also check out the free trial to Amazon Fresh delivery as well as Instacart grocery delivery.

Since I love it, I have wanted to share it with you and now is the perfect time for you to try it. There are no subscriptions, no feed to join, it’s absolutely free!

Get $25 Credit for Free!

This month, get 60 Days FREE Delivery from Peapod (this gets you through the holidays)  and get $25 off your first order with my link!  You can also then use your link and refer others for $25 to yourself!

I order throughout the day by placing things in my cart. Once I hit the $60 threshold, I get free delivery – this is not hard for my family to do. You can grab meal kits, pantry staples, organics, baby foods, anything a grocery store holds.

No leaving things off your list!

If I order and then remember I need more items, I have until 6 pm (the day before delivery) to add more items to my cart. I can use their app or shop online (don’t worry they sync immediately.) Additionally, I can choose the delivery time that fits my family. I get text alerts when Peapod is on the way or when they have arrived. This allows me to open the door before they even knock, saving me naps!

After your 60 free days of delivery

After your free 60 days of delivery, you pay anywhere from $7 to $10 for a delivery fee or pick up outside the store for free. The $7 to $10 depends on how much you spend. Spend more, pay less on delivery.

For our area, Peapod is associated with Giant. Others areas including the grocery chain Kroger and Jewel.

This $25 credit is for November only. Enjoy the grocery store to your front door. Fresh guaranteed. New Specials Every Week.

Batteries not Included. Download this free Battery Gift Tag and become a child’s superhero this Christmas season with this practical gift idea! Or encourage someone with well wishes of ENERGY through the holiday break.

Battery Gift Tag for Christmas

Batteries Not Included - Practical Battery Gift Tag for Christmas

On Frugal Coupon Living, it’s the year of the practical gift. In year’s past, we shared with you our Fleece Navidad Blanket (that was a hit) and our M&M Mason Jar Poem. This year we brought you the Gift Wrap Printable and our latest one, a Battery Gift Tag.  Both are found in our list of Christmas Gift Ideas for Your Neighbors.

Okay, so it seems like a silly gift but how many times has Christmas morning arrived and you lack a battery for a toy? I cannot tell you the numerous times this happened to us. I am lucky enough that I stock up on Amazon Basic Batteries with our monthly Subscribe & Save, so luckily we have a battery box I can always run too, but others might not be as organized as you when it comes to remaining on top of your Amazon Prime needs (wink!)

Battery Gift Tag

If you want to be a super hero this holiday season, gift batteries. The kids will thank you when they can enjoy their new toys on Christmas morning. You can gift this to neighbors, co-workers, friends, teachers and more! It can be a small part of a larger gift if you just feel silly handing over batteries. Maybe you gift it with a child’s toy too!

Batteries Not Included Gift Tag

Battery Gift Tag Supplies

Not many supplies are needed for this craft. I actually used  curling ribbon I keep in my gift wrapping drawers. Seriously my favorite part of wrapping a gift is sliding the blade of my scissors along the back of the curling ribbon and Voilà – there it is, an adorable curl!

You obviously need batteries. Like I said, we have a stockpile of Amazon Basic Batteries but they don’t gift as well (unless you wrap with gift wrap.) They come in a cardboard box which could make a pretty wrapped present. I picked up these batteries at my local grocery store – just a quick add to my shopping cart!

Battery Gift Tag Directions

I print my gift tags at Staples Copy Center, more on that below. We order our four gift tags for under $1!  In your free download, are gift tags for those that celebrate Christmas and those that use more of a generic term like holidays… you can gift this for all!

Use ribbon you have on hand and tie your Battery Gift Tag to your batteries without wrapping or you can wrap in a small cardboard box ( the Amazon Basic Batteries will come in an easy to wrap box).

Wrapped Up Printable Wrapping Paper Gift

Looking for the most perfect, practical gift for the holiday season? Look no more as we have  a free Wrapped Up Printable tag for a Wrapping Paper Gift idea for teachers, neighbors, co-workers and more!

Wrapped Up Printable Wrapping Paper Gift

I plan ahead. I normally like to know what I am going to buy before Black Friday hits. Well let’s tell the truth. I normally like to know months in advance… like six months, that’s not too embarrassing, right? So upon entering the Christmas season, I began to consider Gift Ideas for Our Neighbors. I wanted to do something practical. In other years, Id id some really cute gifts like the Fleece Navidad blankets and also the M&M Christmas Tags.

This year I wanted to do something practical, something they could use rather than sit on the self… along came the the idea of the Gift Wrap Tag. With this free printable you attach it to a roll of wrapping paper (or gift bags) and gift a roll of wrapping paper. Seems a little silly, but I would love if someone gave me gift wrap that was nice!.. especially if it was a double-sided Hallmark brand!

Wrapped Up Gift Tag Supplies

Not many supplies are needed for this gift. In fact, I was able to go into our gift closet and find these rolls of Christmas gift wrap. I had bought them in January after the Christmas season – might I add that is the best time to buy Christmas wrapping paper.  My favorite rolls are the Hallmark rolls that are lined on the back ensuring a straight cut!

I used bows and curling ribbon I keep in my gift wrapping drawers. Seriously my favorite part of wrapping a gift is sliding the blade of my scissors along the back of the curling ribbon and Voilà – there it is, an adorable curl!

You will also need our free printable. I give the link to that printable below as well as how to order your printable online so it is printed in the store – save on ink and paper. We got our gift tags for under $1.

What do I do when my Elf on the Shelf falls on the floor? Download Magic Grippers free Elf on the Shelf printable for your kitchen tongs. This elf printable was especially designed to prevent magic loss allowing an adult to touch Elf on the Shelf after a fall.

Elf on the Shelf Magic Grippers Printable

It’s another year and another season of having an elf visitor. If you are new to Elf on the Shelf, you need a tool to move an Elf on the Shelf doll should a major fall happen. In this post, we provide you with rules for Elf on the Shelf and a resource for moving Elves.

First, when looking for new ideas, visit our Elf on the Shelf Ideas. We also love sharing  Elf on the Shelf Printables including magic grippers.

Kids and parents, let’s talk. It is important to know the Elf on the Shelf Rules. One of the major rules for Elf on the Shelf is Elf must never be touched. If Elf is touched, his magic is lost and he cannot get back to the North Pole to return to Santa.

As a mother of five, I know the fear on kids faces when you found yourself between a rock and a hard place. Our Elf has fallen to the floor. The risk was getting trampled and if we had a dog, we would also run the risk of him getting chewed up. Unfortunately for my family, we had to delicately walk around Elf that one day… we do recall that day until we got this resource!

Can adults touch Elf on the Shelf?

Elf rules are not adjusted at any time. Often people ask what do I do when my Elf on the Shelf falls on the floor? Even with a fall, adults cannot touch Elf on the Shelf. However, because there are times where Elf really needs to be relocated, there are solutions for moving Elf on the Shelf after a fall. You mgiht ask yourself, what do I do if Elf on the Shelf falls. You use Elf on the Shelf Magic Grippers printable. You never use your hand to move an Elf.

If Elf on the Shelf is touched, his/her magic is lost to return to the North Pole. Elf can be moved using Magic Elf on the Shelf Grippers. Download your  North Pole Grippers in our FREE Elf on the Shelf Printables.

This printable doesn’t disappoint.  After that one day on the floor, this idea came as a resource to my family when the Elf fell and everyone was afraid to touch him for fear he would loose his magic. It keeps you from touching elf and keeps your kids from freaking out.

Adults attach this free printable to your kitchen tongs.  In our kitchen we have a set of red kitchen tongs which fits the Christmas season perfectly. This makes the tongs specially designed to prevent magic loss after a great fall! That way the next time your Elf falls, no one has to panic about him spending the entire day on the floor!

Thankful for You Gift Tag

Thankful for You Gift Tag and Thanksgiving Teacher Gift Idea

As a former teacher, I am always looking for creative ideas for teachers. I don’t have too much wiggled room in the wallet as I have five kids and more than five teachers, but I do want them to feel appreciated. In an effort to not give them something they will shove in the back of an empty desk drawer, I try to do little homemade things that will be used. The school day can be long, especially during the holidays, so I know food is often used (and appreciated!) I made this teacher gift tag for my kids but also wanted to share it with you. Use your Thankful for You Gift Tag for a teacher, a neighbor or bring to a celebration for a host. Enjoy!

Supplies:

  • Homemade (or store bought) bread or muffins  – We used Pillsbury Pumpkin Bread Mix
  • Fall Ribbon
  • Twine
  • Burlap
  • Parchment Paper
  • Cardstock
  • Printer ink
