This creative idea for The Elf on the Shelf, shared with Frugal Coupon Living by Elf enthusiast Clare S., is all about giving your North Pole visitor a fabulous makeover with a pair of false eyelashes! By trimming down some lashes and using a little glue, your tiny elf will be sporting a bold new look, complete with a display of mascara by his side. It’s the perfect way to add some extra holiday flair and give your family elf a mischievously glamorous update!

How to Create a Glamorous Elf with False Eyelashes

In this festive scene, your little guy gets an upgrade with a pair of stylish false eyelashes, turning him into the most fashionable holiday helper on the block! This fun and easy idea adds a touch of humor and glamour to your elf’s daily antics, and your kids will love seeing their Christmas companion looking extra fancy. Plus, it’s a simple project that you can easily put together with just a few supplies from home.

Whether your Jolly sprite is sitting on the mantle, hanging out in the bathroom, or perched on a dresser, this makeover is sure to get everyone talking about your stylish family elf!

How to Set Up the False Eyelashes Scene for Your Christmas Elf

Ready to give your cheerful companion a fabulous new look? With just a few basic supplies, your Holiday mischief-maker will be glammed up in no time! To make things even funnier, add some mascara to the scene so it looks like your tiny scout has been borrowing from your makeup bag. Here’s how to create this easy but memorable setup for your Yuletide elf.

Supplies Needed for the Glam Makeover

  • The Elf on the Shelf Doll
  • False eyelashes (trimmed to size)
  • Eyelash glue
  • Scissors (to cut the lashes down to size)
  • Mascara (as a prop for display)

Instructions for Staging This Glamorous Elf Idea

  1. Prepare the lashes: Start by selecting a pair of false eyelashes. Use scissors to trim the lashes down to fit the size of your Holiday helper’s eyes. You want them to look big enough to be funny but not so large that they overwhelm your Merry messenger’s face.
  2. Apply the lashes: Take a small amount of eyelash glue and carefully place it along the base of the trimmed lashes. Gently press the lashes above the eyes of your little visitor, holding them in place for a few seconds until they stick.
  3. Set the scene: Once your miniature elf has their glamorous new look, position them in a fun location where your kids will find them. For extra flair, place a tube of mascara next to your red gal/guy to suggest he’s been borrowing your makeup for his holiday makeover!
  4. Enjoy the laughs: Sit back and wait for the giggles when your family discovers their favorite workshop elf all glammed up and ready for holiday fun!

This simple but hilarious idea is a great way to add a little extra personality to your Christmas companion. With just a few easy steps, your tiny scout will be the star of your household holiday fun, making this season even more memorable!

This fun and creative idea for The Elf on the Shelf, shared by Elf Enthusiast Clare S. with Frugal Coupon Living, takes your holiday mischief-maker on a daring rescue mission! In this scene, one Christmas elf has fallen into a frozen lake made of saran wrap stretched over a bathroom sink, while another elf is valiantly trying to pull him out using a paper clip. Surrounded by “snow” made from white flour and a snowman made of stacked toilet paper rolls, this adorable setup includes a warning sign that reads, “Danger. Thin Ice. Don’t walk on frozen lake.” It’s a cute and clever scene that adds some snowy fun to your holiday elf’s antics!

How to Set Up The Elf on the Shelf Thin Ice Rescue Scene

In this festive scene, your little friend finds himself in a bit of trouble after walking on “thin ice.” Your tiny scout uses a paper clip to rescue his fellow holiday helper from the icy water while a cheerful snowman looks on. The creativity behind this setup makes it easy to stage, using simple household items to create an engaging, wintery scene that will bring smiles to your kids’ faces. The combination of the snowman, the warning sign, and the dramatic rescue brings your holiday elf’s mischievous side to life!

Supplies Needed for Your Holiday Mischief-Maker’s Thin Ice Scene

  • The Elf on the Shelf Doll (2)
  • Saran wrap (for the “ice”)
  • White flour (for “snow”)
  • Paper clip (for the rescue line)
  • Wooden craft stick (for the sign)
  • Cardstock or paper (this is the best cardstock which is perfect for your fun printables)
  • Markers (to create the sign)
  • Toilet paper rolls (3, for the snowman)
  • Construction paper (for the snowman’s face and accessories, or grab our printable snowman)
  • Small scarf or ribbon (for the snowman)
  • Scissors
  • Glue or Tape

Instructions for Staging the Elf Thin Ice Prank

  1. Create the frozen lake: Stretch a piece of saran wrap tightly over the top of the bathroom sink. Make sure it’s secure for when your little visitor falls through it. Scatter white flour around the edges of the sink to create a snowy effect.
  2. Position the elves: Place one of your Christmas companions halfway through the broken saran wrap to make it look like he’s fallen into the icy water. Then, position your other holiday helper nearby, using an open paper clip to try to rescue him.
  3. Make the warning sign: Print or write out a small sign that says, “Danger. Thin Ice. Don’t walk on frozen lake.” Attach the sign to a wooden craft stick and place it in the background.
  4. Build the snowman: Stack three toilet paper rolls to create your snowman. Use construction paper to cut out eyes, a carrot nose, and buttons for the front or download the printable toilet paper snowman set. Add a scarf or ribbon around his neck to complete the snowman’s look.
  5. Set the scene: Once the elves are in place, and the sign and snowman are set up, add a few final touches like more flour for snow to complete the wintery scene.

This simple yet playful idea is the perfect way to add some winter magic to your holiday helper’s mischief. Whether your kids are amazed by the daring rescue or giggling at the snowman, this scene is sure to bring some holiday cheer!

Idea: For the first night, you can do this snowman idea with toilet paper then move the idea to a frozen lake the next day!

From creating Nativity scenes to celebrating Jesus’ birthday, these projects help children explore the heart of the Christmas story in a fun and memorable way. Perfect for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and elementary-aged kids, these crafts will make the season come alive!

What Is the Reason for the Season for Christians?

For Christians, Christmas isn’t just about twinkling lights, presents, and festive music—it’s about celebrating the most amazing gift ever given: Jesus. The reason for the season is to remember that Jesus Christ was born as the Savior of the world. His birth is a fulfillment of God’s promise, bringing hope, peace, and joy to all of us. As we gather with family and friends during this time of year, we’re reminded of the love that God showed by sending His Son into the world. Teaching children this core truth of Christmas helps them understand why we celebrate and keeps Christ at the center of the season.

Why Crafting is Important for Teaching the Christmas Story

kids christian crafts during christmas

Crafting is more than just a fun activity—it’s a powerful way to help children connect with the heart of the Christmas story. Through hands-on activities, kids can actively engage with the story of Jesus’ birth, turning abstract concepts into something they can see, touch, and remember. As they create, they’re also reinforcing important Bible verses and Christian values, making the story of Christmas personal and memorable.

Crafts give children the chance to express their creativity while deepening their understanding of the real reason we celebrate: the birth of our Savior. Plus, these activities can be shared with family and friends, becoming keepsakes that serve as reminders of the joy and meaning behind Christmas for years to come.

Whether you’re working in a Sunday school classroom, homeschooling, or crafting at home, these projects provide meaningful ways to discuss the wonder of Jesus’ arrival. Now, let’s dive into some exciting Christmas craft ideas that will bring this beautiful story to life!

How to Use These Crafts in a Sunday School Setting

In a Sunday school classroom, these Christmas crafts are more than just fun projects—they’re powerful tools for teaching children about Jesus. Here are a few tips to help make the most of these activities:

  1. Pair Crafts with Bible Lessons: Before starting the craft, read the relevant Bible story. For example, if you’re making a Nativity craft, read Luke 2:1-20 aloud and discuss it with the children. This helps them connect what they’re making with what they’re learning.
  2. Create Group Discussions: After the craft is completed, ask the children questions like, “What did you learn about Jesus today?” or “How can we share the story of Jesus’ birth with others?” These discussions deepen the learning experience and encourage children to reflect on the meaning behind the craft.
  3. Encourage Children to Share Their Crafts: Suggest that children take their crafts home and share the Christmas story with their families. Crafts like the M&M Christmas Poem Gift Tag or the Nativity Coloring Wheel are perfect for this. Encouraging kids to tell their families about what they’ve learned is a great way to extend the lesson beyond the classroom.
  4. Incorporate Music and Prayer: As children work on their crafts, play Christmas hymns, carols, or songs that talk about Jesus’ birth. You can also close the session with a prayer, thanking God for sending His Son into the world.

Crafting is a beautiful way to connect children with the Christmas story and teach them about the birth of Jesus in a meaningful and hands-on way. These Sunday school Christmas crafts offer simple and engaging activities for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and elementary-aged kids to help them understand the true reason for the season. From Nativity crafts to personalized keepsakes, these ideas will make this Christmas season a memorable one for everyone involved.

More Sunday School Crafts & Resources

Looking for fun and meaningful ways to celebrate the birth of Jesus with kids this Christmas season? These Happy Birthday Jesus activities are perfect for parents, Sunday school teachers, and Christian educators who want to incorporate faith-based crafts and lessons into their holiday traditions.

birhtday ideas for jesus during christmas

The Christmas season is a wonderful time to celebrate the birth of Jesus with your children, reminding them of the true reason behind all the festivities. Whether you’re a parent, youth leader, or Sunday school teacher, finding meaningful activities that combine fun and faith can enrich the Christmas experience for children and help them understand the significance of Jesus’ birth. In this blog post, we’ll explore a range of exciting and faith-filled activities designed to celebrate Jesus’ birthday and make the Christmas season more memorable.

The Birth of Jesus: A Celebration of God’s Greatest Gift

Before diving into the activities, let’s take a moment to reflect on the heart of the Christmas story. Over 2,000 years ago in a little town called Bethlehem, the greatest gift the world had ever known was born—Jesus, the Son of God. Christ’s birth marked the fulfillment of ancient prophecies, bringing hope, peace, and salvation to humanity.

In the hustle and bustle of modern Christmas celebrations, it can be easy to lose sight of this miraculous event. That’s why celebrating Jesus’ birthday can be a meaningful tradition for families, churches, and classrooms. By focusing on the birth of Jesus, children can learn the true meaning of Christmas and why it’s more than just presents under the tree—it’s about the ultimate gift of love that God gave us through His Son.

What are Kids’ Activities Ideas for the Birth of Jesus?

In addition to the crafts we’ll be exploring from our Happy Birthday Jesus Activity Set, there are many other exciting ways to engage children and make the birth of Jesus a central part of your holiday traditions. These activities range from creative crafts to fun songs, all designed to bring the Nativity story to life and help children connect with Jesus during the Christmas season.

1. Nativity Scene Play

Create a simple Nativity play with the kids in your family or Sunday school class. Assign roles like Mary, Joseph, shepherds, angels, and the wise men, and reenact the story of Jesus’ birth. This activity not only helps children understand the biblical narrative but also encourages them to step into the roles of key figures in the story. Kids love dressing up and acting out the story, and it’s a wonderful way to engage their imaginations while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas.

2. Nativity-Themed Games

Games are a great way to get kids excited about learning! Try playing a game of Pin the Star Over Bethlehem, where children take turns trying to place a star sticker or cutout on a Nativity scene. You could also create a Christmas scavenger hunt where kids search for items related to the Nativity story (like a manger, a baby doll, and a star). These games add a layer of fun while reinforcing the key elements of the birth of Jesus.

3. Christmas Carols about Jesus

Singing is a fun way to celebrate Jesus’ birth! Gather a list of Christmas carols that specifically focus on the birth of Christ, like “Away in a Manger,” “Silent Night,” and “Joy to the World.” Incorporating carols into your celebration can help children focus on Jesus Christ and understand the joy His birth brings. Consider organizing a Christmas carol sing-along with your family or church group as a way to celebrate the season.

4. Storytime with the Nativity

Set aside time to read the Christmas story from the Bible (Luke 2:1-20) or from a children’s Nativity book. For younger children, use a Nativity coloring wheel to tell the Bible story of Jesus’ birth. After reading, ask the kids questions to help them think about the meaning behind the story, such as “Why was Jesus born in a stable?” or “What did the angels tell the shepherds?” This quiet activity offers a reflective moment during the busy holiday season.

5. Star Craft

A simple craft that kids will love is creating a Bethlehem star! Using paper, foil, or glitter, let kids design and cut out their very own star. You can then hang these stars around your home or classroom as a reminder of the star that led the wise men to Jesus. As the children create, share with them the significance of the star in the Nativity story and how it symbolized hope and guidance.

Fun & Faith-Filled Activities from the Happy Birthday Jesus Activity Set

Now, let’s look at a set of hands-on, fun, and creative activities that will make celebrating Jesus’ birthday an unforgettable experience for kids. These activities are perfect for Sunday school, kids’ ministry, homeschool lessons, or family Christmas celebrations, allowing children to engage in meaningful, Christ-centered activities that spark joy and faith.

1. Happy Birthday Jesus Flip Book

The Happy Birthday Jesus Flip Book (on Etsy too) is a fun and educational way to teach children about the many gifts Jesus is to us. With each flip, children will discover six key attributes of Jesus: Savior, Teacher, Friend, King, Healer, and God’s Gift. Each page can be colored in, making it a hands-on activity that kids will love while learning about who Jesus is and why we celebrate His birth.

Parents and teachers can encourage kids to reflect on what each attribute means and how Jesus’ birth brings these gifts to life. After completing the flip book, children will have a beautiful keepsake to remind them of the true meaning of Christmas.

2. 3D Pop-Up Happy Birthday Jesus Card

Who doesn’t love a pop-up card? This fun and interactive 3D pop-up Birthday Card for Jesus (on Etsy too) allows kids to craft a cute note for Jesus. The card features Jesus wearing a party hat, making it a playful way to celebrate His special day. Children can choose between black-and-white versions to color or pre-colored versions to assemble.

Inside the card, they can add one of three fun messages:

  • You’re the B(ethlehem)est gift of all!
  • The original Christmas miracle—no wonder you’re the star of the show!
  • Thank you for being the perfect gift!

They also can add their own message. As they create and assemble their cards, kids will be reminded of Jesus’ role as the greatest gift ever given.

3. Gospel Message Newspaper

This unique newspaper-style craft presents the birth of Jesus in a creative way, making it feel like a headline story! The “On the Day You Were Born” Jesus newspaper (on Etsy too) gives kids a fun and engaging way to learn about the events surrounding Jesus’ birth. It features key details like the visit of the shepherds, the appearance of the star, and the arrival of the wise men.

Not only is this a great craft for learning about the Nativity, but it also includes a simple explanation of the gospel message. This makes it a perfect tool for sharing the Good News with children and introducing them to the significance of Jesus’ birth.

4. Happy Birthday Jesus Handprint Craft with Cupcake

In this craft, children use their handprints to create a colorful cupcake design with the message “Happy Birthday Jesus.” It’s a sweet way to remind kids that Christmas is a celebration of Jesus’ birth, and it’s also a keepsake for parents or grandparents to cherish. The Christmas handprint craft (on Etsy too) comes with a holly border to give it a festive feel, making it perfect for classroom displays or holiday decorations.

Not only is this a creative and personal craft, but it also gives kids the chance to reflect on how they can use their hands to honor Jesus. They can talk about ways to help others or serve God, tying the activity back to the true spirit of Christmas.

5. Happy Birthday Jesus Party Banner

No birthday celebration is complete without a party banner! The Happy Birthday Jesus Party Banner adds a festive touch to any room, whether you’re hosting a birthday party for Jesus at home, in church, or in a classroom. The colorful letters and bright design will bring joy to the space and help kids focus on the reason for the season.

This banner can be displayed as part of a larger birthday celebration for Jesus, complete with cake, music, and activities. It’s a simple yet impactful way to set the stage for a Christ-centered Christmas celebration.

6. Happy Birthday Jesus Party Hat

Kids will love wearing these fun party hats as they celebrate Jesus’ birthday! The hats come with the message “Happy Birthday Jesus,” and children can color or decorate their own hats to wear during the celebration. It’s a great way to make them feel part of the party and reinforce the focus on Jesus as the guest of honor.

This activity can be incorporated into a larger birthday party for Jesus, where children can sing “Happy Birthday” and enjoy treats while reflecting on the joy of Jesus’ birth.

What better way to celebrate a birthday than with cake? Making a birthday cake for Jesus is a sweet tradition that families can do together. The Jesse Tree is a wonderful way to teach children about the Bible and the family tree of Jesus. This centuries-old tradition connects kids to the biblical stories and characters that lead to the birth of Jesus. In this blog post, we’ll explore what the Jesse Tree is, how to use it with your family, the symbols that represent the stories, and how to make the experience extra special with a printable Tree of Jesse craft set, including ornaments and coloring pages.

hanging a jesse tree ornament

What is the Jesse Tree?

The Jesse Tree gets its name from Jesse, the father of King David, and is a visual representation of Jesus’ family tree. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 11:1, “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots, a Branch will bear fruit.” This tree serves as a symbol of the lineage of Jesus, starting with creation and leading through the Old Testament figures to the birth of Christ.

The Jesse Tree helps us remember that Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s promises throughout the Bible.

How to Use a Jesse Tree

A Jesse Tree is typically used during Advent, the weeks leading up to Christmas, and the birth of the Messiah. For this reason, the tree can also be called “The Advent Tree” or “The Jesus Tree.” Each day, a new symbol is added to the tree, representing a story from the Bible that shows God’s plan for salvation through the ancestors of Jesus Christ. Families can read a Bible verse or story together as they hang the corresponding ornament.

how to use the jesse tree

Here’s how to use a Jesse Tree in a few simple steps:

  • Prepare your tree: This can be a small tabletop Christmas tree, a poster on the wall, or even bare branches (in a vase) from outside.
  • Hang an ornament each day: Each ornament represents a person or story from the Bible, such as Adam and Eve, Noah, Moses, or David.
  • Read a passage or story: Share the Bible verse that goes with the ornament to reflect on how God’s plan unfolds through history.
  • Enjoy time together: This Christmas tradition and activity is a perfect way to center your family on the meaning of Christmas throughout the Advent season.

Symbols of the Jesse Tree

Each ornament on the Jesse Tree represents a significant biblical character or event that leads up to the birth of Jesus. These symbols help children understand the overarching story of salvation in a hands-on, visual way. Typically, these symbols are displayed on an ornament to be hung each day of the advent season.

Here are some common Jesse Tree symbols and their meanings:

  • Apple (Adam and Eve): Represents the fall of man and the need for a Savior.
  • Rainbow (Noah): Represents the faithfulness of God and His promise to never flood the earth again.
  • Burning Bush (Moses): A symbol of God calling Moses to lead His people.
  • Ten Commandments (Moses): A symbol of God’s law given to Moses on Mount Sinai.
  • Stars (Abraham): Symbolizing God’s promise to Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars.
  • Ram (Abraham and Isaac): Symbolizes the sacrifice provided by God, foreshadowing Jesus’ sacrifice.
  • Coat of Many Colors (Joseph): Represents Joseph’s unique role in God’s plan to save his family and preserve the nation of Israel after being sold as a slave into Egypt.
  • Oil (Samuel): Symbolizes Samuel’s role in anointing King David and being a faithful prophet, who was dedicated to God from a young age.
  • Wheat (Ruth): A reminder of Ruth’s faithfulness and God’s provision, leading to the lineage of Jesus.
  • Nativity Scene (Jesus’ Birth): Represents the birth of Jesus, the fulfillment of God’s promise, and the central event of the Christmas season.

These are just a few examples, but there are many more stories and symbols that can be used on a Jesse Tree, depending on the devotionals you choose to follow.

Why You Should Use a Jesse Tree

A Jesse Tree is a fantastic tool for helping children connect with the Bible and the true meaning of Christmas. Here are some reasons to consider adding a Jesse Tree to your family traditions:

1. Teaches Biblical History

The Jesse Tree walks your family through the entire Bible in a simple, visual way, making it easy for children to understand God’s plan for salvation.

2. Hands-on Learning

Children love hands-on activities, and hanging ornaments on a tree is a fun and engaging way to learn about Bible stories. This interactive approach helps kids retain the stories better than just reading.

3. Focuses on Jesus

While Christmas is often filled with distractions, the Jesse Tree helps center your family’s attention on Jesus and the story of His birth.

4. Daily Family Time

Using the Jesse Tree creates an opportunity for family devotions and meaningful conversations during the busy holiday season.

Where Can You Use a Jesse Tree?

The beauty of the Jesse Tree is its versatility. It can be used in various settings beyond your home:

  • At Home: You can use the Jesse Tree for family devotionals and as an Advent calendar during the month of December. Each day, your family can gather to hang an ornament, read a Bible passage, and reflect on God’s promises.
  • At Church: Sunday school teachers can lead students through the Jesse Tree symbols each week during Advent, helping them understand the stories that lead to the birth of Jesus.
  • Homeschooling: Families who homeschool can incorporate the Jesse Tree into their Bible lessons, using each worksheet and ornament to teach children how the Old and New Testaments are connected.
  • Christian Schools: This can be a great project for classrooms, where students can learn about Jesus’ lineage and the fulfillment of God’s promises.
  • Christmas Parties: Consider using the Jesse Tree at family gatherings or church Christmas parties, where each guest can add an ornament and share a Bible story.

First, grab your balloon and start stretching it out. Make sure to stretch both the neck and the body of the balloon. You’re going to fit an entire Scout Elf in a balloon, so the balloon needs to have room!

Second, use your Balloon Pump to put the neck of your balloon on the neck of the pump. Pump up the balloon and deflate it. Repeat this a few times. This continues to stretch your balloon so you can easily fit your family elf inside.

How to Stuff a Balloon with Candy

Third, remove your balloon from the balloon pump. Wrap the neck of the balloon around your Balloon Stuffing Tool (aka canning funnel). Pull the neck of the balloon up the neck of the canning funnel. Make sure to pull the balloon up as much as possible — it’ll help you fit everything into the balloon in the next step!

How to Stuff a Balloon with Gifts

Next, you have the option to add chocolates to the inside of the balloon to give the balloon weight. The Elf will likely still move around, but the chocolates are a fun extra treat for your child to enjoy when they pop the balloon!

How to Stuff a Balloon with Elf on the Shelf

Next, fold your Elf in on itself, similar to the way it arrived in the box. Wrap its arms around itself and fold its legs, like it’s sitting! Begin to slide the bottom of your elf doll into the balloon until everything but its head is inside.

Then, work the rest of the balloon up the face of Elf by removing the canning funnel. You’ll need to use your hands and a little patience for this part! Only the tip of the Elf’s hat will be sticking out at this point.

Balloon Elf on the Shelf Idea

Return to your hand-held balloon pump, slide your balloon onto the pump, and start pumping. Don’t over-inflate the balloon — if you do, it could pop before morning arrives.

Tie off the neck of the balloon. Optionally, you can use a Sharpie to write a message from the Elf on the balloon. “Help me” and “I’m here!” are a couple of good message ideas for the Arrival of The Elf on the Shelf!

The Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas Tradition. The tradition has a book and an elf doll. The book is poetic and in rhyme sharing the purpose of the Elf’s visits. The Elf visits each Thanksgiving. He/she goes and returns from the North Pole each evening. Every morning he can be found in a new location in the house. The Elf has been found in the refrigerator, fishing in the toilet, writing messages on the mirror, or hanging from the lights. It is VERY IMPORTANT, that the Elf is not touched each evening or his Christmas magic will be lost! Each family is able to name their special elf. The elves return to their home (Santa’s North Pole Work shop) every Christmas Eve.

Absorb the spirit of Christ this season with this Bible Study Christmas Gift Idea. Bounty paper towels with pun saying to blot out problems, soak up sorrows, and wipe away difficulties.

Bible Study Christmas Gift Ideas with Pun

My Bible study has grown and sometimes it’s hard to think of something creative and cute without spending an arm and leg. I was trying to come up with something creative for my girls, without baking (the holidays add enough calories) and this gift tag came to mind. Of course, there is nothing exciting over the gift of paper towels, but I love the pun and the message for the season!

Bible Study Christmas Gift Tag Supplies

Not many supplies are needed for this gift. First, I subscribe and save on Amazon to Bounty Paper towels. So these paper towel rolls were actually something I already had – that reminds me, I need to order MORE for our family! I needed 13 rolls to gift to my bible study girls and my leader.

I used twine that I keep in my gift wrapping drawers.  Curling ribbon could be cute too. What about this black and white check ribbon?

You will also need our free printable. I give the link to that printable below as well as how to order your printable online so it is printed in the store – save on ink and paper. We got our gift tags for under $1.

Gift Tip! Pair this gift with scented holiday soap, cookie mix, cooking gadgets or tools, or make an entire basket of items and include this punny tag with a roll of paper towel!

Bible Study Christmas Gift Tag Saying

May the absorbing spirit of Christ blot out your problems, soak up your sorrows, and wipe away your difficulties. May the new year bring you bounteous blessing throughout the new year.

Bible Study Christmas Gift Tag Directions

Get your paper towel rolls. We like the wrapper off the roll. Tie your ribbon around the roll of paper.  Cut your gift tags out and use a hole punch to punch a hole at the top. Thread your ribbon through and tie off your ribbon with a bow. Gift to your girls!

I like to order my prints at Staples. It saves on ink and is only a few short miles from my home. I pick-up at the store, but of course you can upload them online and then have them shipped to your home.

To Order Your Printables at Staples for Under $1*:

Elf Chutes & Ladders Directions

  1. Each child can choose a different playing piece.
  2. Spin the spinner (or roll the dice to see who goes first.) The largest number goes first followed by the person to the left of the first player.
  3. Take turns spinner the spinner. Go the number of spaces as the spinner shoes.
  4. If you hit the bottom of a ladder, climb to the top. If you hit the top of a slide, slide down to the bottom.
  5. The first player to square 100 wins. You can roll a number larger than your last number of squares to win. For example, if you are on square 96 and spin the number 5, you can go to square 100 to win.
