Our Elf on the Shelf Twister Board Printable was so popular, we had to add a new game board. Elf Sledding and Climbing aka Elf on the Shelf Chutes and Ladders.
This Elf game board is very interactive and your kids can play the game. Just slide the board away from your Elf doll to play.
Elf on the Shelf Game Supplies
The Elf game board comes with all the supplies you need including game pieces, a spinner and game pieces. Alternatively, you can use your own plastic game makers and a dice if you wish.
- The Elf on the Shelf
- Elf Sledding & Climbing Game Board with spinner and game markers
- Optional: Game markers (we used some from a Sorry Game Board)
- Optional: Dice
Elf Chutes & Ladders Directions
- Each child can choose a different playing piece.
- Spin the spinner (or roll the dice to see who goes first.) The largest number goes first followed by the person to the left of the first player.
- Take turns spinner the spinner. Go the number of spaces as the spinner shoes.
- If you hit the bottom of a ladder, climb to the top. If you hit the top of a slide, slide down to the bottom.
- The first player to square 100 wins. You can roll a number larger than your last number of squares to win. For example if you are on square 96 and spin the number 5, you can go to square 100 to win.

What is Elf on the Shelf?
Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas Tradition. The tradition has a book and a elf doll. The book is poetic and in rhyme sharing the purpose of the Elf’s visits. The Elf visits each Thanksgiving. He/She goes and returns from the North Pole each evening. Every morning he can be found in a new location in the house. The Elf has been found in the refrigerator, fishing in the toilet, writing messages on the mirror or hanging from the lights. It is VERY IMPORTANT, the Elf is not touch each evening or his Christmas magic will be lost! Each family is able to name their special elf. The elves return to their home (Santa’s North Pole Work shop) every Christmas Eve. An Elf’s Story can also be found on DVD.
