5 Minute Tutorial – Print Your Fonts into a Font Catalog

How to make a Font Catalog. 5 Minute Tutorial – Print Your Fonts into a Font Catalog. Free fonts and Step by Step directions.

5 Minute Tutorial – Print Your Fonts into a Font Catalog

I am mildly obsessed with fonts. I use them often for creating Pinterest content for the blog but a good font is also pretty awesome for Christmas Cards, Baby Announcements and Birthday Invitations.

I am often grabbing free fonts I find on the web or I purchase a few I can’t live without. The newest place I have found fonts that I cannot live without are from Font Bundles. They have some of the prettiest and most amazing fonts. They are great inspiration for hand lettering or chalk lettering.

I also love Creative Market. Creative market is great for fonts you can use personally or commercially. They also have amazing resources including graphics, templates, photos and more. It’s an online marketplace where creators sell to creators.

Now that you have some amazing fonts on your computer, you might be wondering how do I print a font from my computer?  First it’s good to know the amazing fonts you have, then you can start adding fonts to things like documents, graphics and more.

How do I create a list of fonts?

Whether your are purchasing fonts, downloading free ones or just want to create a quick catalog of all the fonts you have on your computer, I found this app and it is so incredibly easy to create a list of fonts. As a font hoarder, this font catalog tutorial took me less than 5 minutes and I printed out a catalog of 20 pages of cute fonts for me to reference.

To get your FREE Font Catalog, go here to Stefan Trost Media. The program will lead you to this page.

On this page, scroll to the bottom. I downloaded (clicked) PrintMyFontsforWindows (as seen above). This is because I have a Windows computer. If you have a Mac or another program, you can see what program is recommended for your computer. The program downloaded to my download folder. I had to open that folder and extract the program. You can then open the application PrintMyFonts.

One thing I  liked about this program was you could decide what you print.  Look for the box “Text written in the Font” I wrote the above font using my blog name.  However, I printed the names of my fonts in the font style. But you could write your name, you could do something like the “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.” (that phrase gives you ever letter of the alphabet) or you could print each letter form A to Z in the font style. Use the drop down arrow and decide how you want your catalog to look.

If you don’t want it to print, you can also save it as a PDF. I saved a back up one to my documents on my computer. You can decide a JPG, RTF, BMP etc. Under Print, I can print to my computer or save it to a PDF.

Is  this so easy?! For me personally, it will help me with my Pinterest creations, but I think for many of you it will be good for those who create documents, use vinyl machines, craft and so much more!

PLEASE SHARE YOUR FONT CATALOG ON PINTEREST – I love to see pretty organized prints!

Powered by Creative Market

So I REALLY love fonts. Be sure to pick up 1,000s of fonts with the link image above. Many are free!

Looking Sharp Valentine Gift Tag Printable Set

Looking Sharp Sharpie Valentine

As a former teacher, I am always looking for ways to show thanks to our children’s’ current teachers. Cute gifts I have bought in the past are candy bars at checkout, small $5 Starbucks gift cards, and even adorable Vera Bradley binder clips (those were loved!) I like to randomly gift things, sometimes on Thankful Thursdays, but I also like to recognize them on holidays – even if minor holidays like Valentine’s Day.

As you know we love Valentine Printables (okay we love all printables), so we came up with this Looking Sharp Sharpie Valentine for you to gift to your favorite teachers. Give to a teacher who has colored your world or made a permanent impact on your child – full pun intended!

Looking Sharp Sharpie Valentine Supplies

Most obviously, sharpie markers are needed for this Valentine. We suggest printing on 8.5 x 11 card stock. If you care to save on printer ink and paper, we were able to send ours to Staples (online) and print for under $1. More on that below. We used curling ribbon we had in our gift drawer, but Amazon has some cute Valentine Ribbon too!

The Best Copycat Panera Recipes

The best Copycat Panera Recipes for those craving your favorite restaurant meal. Tasty and easy soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, dressings and more!

The Best Copycat Panera Recipes

We used to go out to eat a lot more. As a family of four, I felt I could barely tackle taking kids into a restaurant. One of our favorite spots was Panera Bread Company. In fact, my husband would always date our daughters by taking them to pricier restaurants and my location of choice was Panera. I know, you guys, I had high standards… and the frugal title of my blog is truth!

Panera Bread

I have always loved the restaurant Panera. It truly was one of my favorite spots for soup, sandwiches, salads, and of course desserts!  When our last two children were born (twins in December 2017), the dinners outside of the home halted. While in the hospital, and while one of the boys was in the NICU, I had my fair share of Panera at the hospital location. However, once they were released and we entered flu and cold season, we were in our home exclusively. It’s been almost a year since they were born and even though we can once again go out into the germ infested world, going out in public, especially to a restaurant, is very hard with a family of seven.

Copycat Recipes

Because we all still like to enjoy a good restaurant meal, I have had to take some of my favorite recipes into our home and learn to make them myself. Perhaps for the nostalgia, the NICU and our history of  the dates, at the top of our list was Copycat Panera Recipes.

If this restaurant brings a special memory to you too, enjoy these copycat recipes below!

Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas Tradition. The tradition has a book and a elf doll. The book is poetic and in rhyme sharing the purpose of the Elf’s visits. The Elf visits each Thanksgiving. He/She goes and returns from the North Pole each evening. Every morning he can be found in a new location in the house. The Elf has been found in the refrigerator, fishing in the toilet, writing messages on the mirror or hanging from the lights. It is VERY IMPORTANT, the Elf is not touch each evening or his Christmas magic will be lost! Each family is able to name their special elf. The elves return to their home (Santa’s North Pole Work shop) every Christmas Eve. An Elf’s Story can also be found on DVD.

Sausage and Ricotta Pizza Stuffed Cheese Bread

Ooey, Gooey, cheesy goodness – this Sausage and Ricotta Pizza Stuffed Cheese Bread really hits the spot. An easy homemade pizza recipe the entire family will enjoy.

Sausage and Ricotta Pizza Stuffed Cheese Bread

Sausage and Ricotta Pizza Stuffed Cheese Bread

So late last year (2017), I gave birth to twins. Everything was as smooth sailing as smooth sailing goes (with twins that are your 4th and 5th children) until the reflux it. Let me tell you. I had 5 kids, two who suffered mild colic but this colic was the worst. Constant screaming. Weeks of it. It was in my research and talking to others, I discovered my son had a dairy allergy. With that came a 6 month strike of dairy – it was awful. No cheese, no milk, no butter – you try and find meals that have no dairy in them. Anyways, upon the graduation of breast feeding (I was really pumping), came all the cheese I could eat. All the GOOD cheese I could eat. That included this heavenly dinner recipe – Sausage and Ricotta Pizza Stuffed Cheese Bread.

As a woman CRAVING cheese, this stuffed pizza recipe hit the spot. I mean really hit the spot. This dinner recipe is so delicious. You, and your family, will love it! I promise.

Ooey, gooey, cheesy goodness – enjoy!

Sausage and Ricotta Pizza Stuffed Cheese Bread Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. Ground mild Italian sausage
  • 1 ½ – 2 cups Pizza sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cups Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups Ricotta cheese
  • 1 ½ tsp. Oregano
  • 2 tsp. Basil
  • 2 Cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 Loaves of French bread
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp. Coconut oil

Sausage and Ricotta Pizza Stuffed Cheese Bread

Directions:

1.) Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

2.) Place 1 tablespoon of coconut oil into a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the chopped onion to the skillet, and cook until the onion has browned, is soft, and translucent. Set the onion aside in a bowl and keep warm.

3.) Add 2 pounds of ground Italian sausage to the same skillet, and cook until browned, chopping up any large pieces with a cooking spoon.

Browned Meat in Skilled

4.) When the meat is just browned, add in a mix of 1 ½ teaspoons of Oregano and 2 teaspoons of Basil.

5.) Add in 2 cloves of minced garlic.

6.) Pour in 1 ½ to 2 cups of pizza sauce. Stir to combine all of the ingredients well, and add salt or pepper to taste.

What is Elf on the Shelf?
