Purple Peppermint Bath Bombs Recipe

Whether you want to relax or refresh your body, mind and spirit these Peppermint Bath Bombs are for you! They’re easy to make and can be molded in whatever silicone mold you have. Try other colors too! If you’re making them to give as a gift, make them in the recipients favorite color, store in a glass jar and tie a ribbon around the jar in a coordinating color. What a simple, sweet gift. Use them as a shower bomb too if you don’t have time to soak in the tub.

Inhale deeply! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup Ball Citric acid
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup coconut oil
18 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
Purple food coloring (optional)

Directions:

In a small mixing bowl combine all your dry ingredients, mix well
Add about 4 drops of purple food coloring and mix with your hands and fingertips
Add 18 drops of your therapeutic grade peppermint oil and mix with your hands
Heat 1/4 cup coconut oil in the microwave for about 20 seconds (be careful as coconut oil heats very fast)
Add a little coconut oil to your dry mix at a time and mix with your hands
Once all of your coconut oil is added, your mixture should feel like damp sand
Start filling your silicone mold with your shower bomb mixture
Press your mixture firmly into your mold
Let dry for about 12-24 hours
Carefully pop your shower bombs out of your mold
Set 1 shower bomb in the bottom of your shower while your showering to release your shower bomb and essential oils

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup baking soda

Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

In a small mixing bowl combine all your dry ingredients, mix well
Add about 4 drops of purple food coloring and mix with your hands and fingertips
Add 2 drops of your therapeutic grade peppermint oil and mix with your hands
Heat 1/4 cup coconut oil in the microwave for about 20 seconds (be careful as coconut oil heats very fast)
Add a little coconut oil to your dry mix at a time and mix with your hands
Once all of your coconut oil is added, your mixture should feel like damp sand
Start filling your silicone mold with your shower bomb mixture
Press your mixture firmly into your mold
Let dry for about 12-24 hours

Set 1 shower bomb in the bottom of your shower while your showering to release your shower bomb and essential oils

What is Elf on the Shelf?

Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas Tradition. The tradition has a book and a elf doll. The book is poetic and in rhyme sharing the purpose of the Elf’s visits. The Elf visits each Thanksgiving. He/She goes and returns from the North Pole each evening. Every morning he can be found in a new location in the house. The Elf has been found in the refrigerator, fishing in the toilet, writing messages on the mirror or hanging from the lights. It is VERY IMPORTANT, the Elf is not touch each evening or his Christmas magic will be lost! Each family is able to name their special elf. The elves return to their home (Santa’s North Pole Work shop) every Christmas Eve. An Elf’s Story can also be found on DVD

Cheese Stick Snowmen

Cheese sticks are always a hit for snack time! Dress up your cheese stick like a snowman with ribbon, some drawn buttons and a nose and these cute FREE PRINTABLE hats! We can’t get over how adorable this bunch is! As much as we love sweet treats, most holiday parties are brimming with them and need a healthy option, these cheese stick snowmen are it!

Materials:

Mozzarella cheese sticks
Ribbon
FREE Hat Printable – By downloading you are accepting the terms that this is for personal, non-commercial use. Please contact Frugal Coupon Living with any questions.
Double-sided tape
Sharpies – Black and Orange
Scissors

Get these snowmen hat printables and all of Frugal Coupon Living’s free printables. Enter your name and email address and we will send you a link and password for access to your free downloads.

Directions:

Print out your free snowmen hat printables.
Place a small piece of double-sided tape onto the back of a paper hat and place at the top of the cheese stick (use the side of the cheese stick w/no logo showing on the packaging).
Using the black sharpie, place two dots under the hat for eyes. Using the orange sharpie, draw a carrot nose.
Switching back to the black sharpie, draw five small dots in an upward angle under the nose to create the snowman’s mouth.
Cut a piece of ribbon and wrap it around the cheese stick under the face to make the snowman’s scarf. Tie it into a knot and trim it to an appropriate length.
Using the black sharpie, draw 3 dots down the center (under the ribbon scarf).
