Quarantine Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas

Door Dash Teacher Appreciation Gift During Quarantine

Coming up with this Quarantine Teacher Appreciation Gift Idea took some time. I knew I wanted a punny teacher appreciation printable that could be used during Teacher Appreciation week or as an end of the year gift idea. Plus, currently we are in social isolation and many local restaurants and establishments are suffering, so I wanted to grab something would would give back to local organizations.

We came up with this easy Teacher Appreciation Week gift idea – DONUT you know how much I miss you printable gift tag for teachers. And for years, were we are not in social isolation, this teacher gift tag also comes with another quote that reads DONUT know what I would do without you.

Mail a Gift Card

For our donut teacher appreciation gift card idea, we went at it two ways. First, we picked up gift cards that teachers could use at their leisure. I privately emailed teachers and asked for their best mailing address (knowing well that I might be the school address.) It was a personal question and I know some teachers would want to keep that information private. I softened it by sharing my child wanted to send them a treat.  This teacher gift card idea well because it’s a gift that is not perishable. They can get it immediately at their home or when they return to school to pick up materials.

If leaving the home is not convenient for you, consider shopping Amazon for gift cards. You can have them mailed to your home and then add our printable teacher appreciation gift tag before mailing to your child’s educator.

By purchasing from a local bakery or restaurant, you are supporting small businesses during social isolation. Consider it a win/win.

Door Dash Donut Delivery

Online Restaurant Delivery

Another option using your donut teacher gift tag is restaurant delivery or pick-up. We used Door Dash to deliver donuts. In this case, you can swing the gift tag to the establishment and add it to the order.

If leaving the house is not an option, consider this electronic addition. You can email the gift tag separately with a sweet message that your great teacher is expecting a delivery.

Another creative idea is to  take a photo of your child holding the printed gift tag and email it to your teacher after the Restaurant Delivery arrives (track it on your phone or app.) I think this is a cute idea because it’s personalizes the doughnut delivery with a cute smile from your child and a sweet punny teacher message attached.

For this Teacher Appreciation Restaurant Delivery idea you will need your teacher’s home mailing address.

Teacher Appreciation Printables

We have years and years worth of teacher appreciation printables. Use any of these ideas and using a flat rate shipping box from USPS fill your box with a teacher gift and send it straight from your mailbox. Never leave the home.

The season is approaching – the season of reuniting! We have plenty of fun Family Reunion Ideas for your important occasion. Enjoy family reunion themes,  planners, family reunion games, activities, printables, décor, party favors, t-shirts, and more. Everything you need in one place!

Family Reunion Ideas

We are getting close to that time. The time when families reunite…

Reunited and it feels so good…

I had to go there in the song, of course.

Are you ready for a good ‘ole family reunion? We have so many family reunion ideas from Family reunion quotes (for your photo table) to family reunion printables, family reunion printable games, family reunion party favors, family reunion themes, and even family reunion decor.

What are some good family reunion themes?

If you are hosting the gathering, having a good family reunion theme will guide you in focusing your planning in one direction. Family reunion theme ideas allow all guests to also plan when packing. For example, are you having the family Olympics, if so you might have a family that wants to pack tube socks, short shorts, and sweatbands for the occasion. If your family reunion is the tree of life, ask family members to bring photos of family past and present and create a huge tree backdrop where the family can hang their photos.

Take a look at these fun-themed family reunion ideas.

  • Our Roots are Strong (tree theme)

  • Reunited and It Feels So Good (70s theme)

  • Family Summer Olympics

  • Christmas in July

  • Camp (enter the last name of the family)

  • Our Family’s Got Talent

  • Karaoke Kin

  • Anniversary Theme

  • Family Fued

  • How Well Do You Know Your Family Trivia

  • Milestone Birthday Theme

  • Decades Theme

  • Halloween Thriller

  • Wild West

  • Carnival / Circus

  • The Family Games (board games, Minute to Win it Games, etc.)

  • Fiesta

  • Lake Life

  • Hawaiian Luau

  • Make a Splash

  • Survivor

  • The Price Is Right

  • The Hunger Games

  • Top Chef

  • Murder Mystery

Once you have your theme, you are ready for the festivities to begin. Take a look at these family reunion ideas with your theme in mind.

We’re both are so excited ’cause we’re reunited, hey, hey…

Family Reunion Potluck Food Ideas

Family Reunion Foods

We don’t introduce any family reunion foods but some suggestions include a potluck. One night, have each family make a giant size of their family’s favorite dinner dish. You could even include recipe cards so everyone can go home with a copy of the recipe. When they make it to their house, they will be thinking of you over dinner. We like these vintage recipe cards to share your family recipes.

Vintage Family Reunion Recipe Cards

Another idea is to create a family reunion theme meal. Is your family Cuban? Have a weekend’s worth of authentic Cuban food. Are you at the beach? Host a seafood night or scout the best restaurants on Yelp – call ahead, we bet you’ll have a large party!

For a Top Chef, Hunger Games, or Nailed it Family Reunion Theme, create cooking competitions. Create your own with a themed Southern Living BBQ Picnic, Mexican Fiesta Taco night, Best Chili Recipe Night, etc. Award prizes to the winners.

Use these recipe cards and create your very own family recipe book from some of the delicious dishes created!

Gathering a stockpile? Accruing a large stash of goods and products can leave you in a mess. We have some of the best Kitchen Pantry Organization Ideas and Stockpile Storage Ideas to get your home organized.

Pantry & Stockpile Organization

Stockpile Home Organization Ideas

Consider this post just as much for me, as for you. We moved as soon as social distancing became a thing. I am talking about last day of school Friday. Monday, no school and closing on a new house. We consider it a blessing, as many places of work closed the week we moved but all of a sudden I found myself in a new home with no stockpile and starting from nothing.

Stockpile Meaning

If you know couponing, you likely are familiar with a stockpile. If you are new to shopping ahead – say in two week to month long periods, you might be becoming familiar with the stockpile meaning.

Stockpile. stock·pile /ˈstäkˌpīl/ noun. A large accumulated stock of goods or materials, especially one held in reserve for use at a time of shortage or other emergency.

I worked hard to diminish our stockpile before the move. Especially our stockpile of canned foods and fresh ingredients. Once I made a trip to the grocery store (on Tuesday) the shelves were pretty wiped clean. So I began the process of stockpiling, on a limited supply, with a brand new kitchen and pantry. Since I was at ground zero, I went to Pinterest to start right. This was my opportunity to organize a new home and began new habits of putting tings away properly and in their place.

Take my lessons on How to Stockpile from someone who has done her research starting at the beginning. These stockpile organizational tips I learned from step 1 doesn’t mean you can’t start or implement on year 20. Now is a great time for us to all hunker down and organize our home, pantry and stockpile.

Enjoy!
