You will never guess the upcycled product that created this fun and exciting Halloween Ghost Craft. Print our ghost template printable and use with or without a Cricut machine. Taking only a matter of minutes and a free ghost face cut out printable, this makes a cute and ridiculously easy Halloween craft for adults or the kids.

Easy Ghost Halloween Craft for Adults

Halloween is coming up, and it’s time to start thinking about how you’re going to make this year spooky. You could go the traditional route of telling ghost stories in front of a roaring fire or dressing up as your favorite character for trick-or-treating. But if you want to make something that is fun and easy to make, then this Tide Pod ghost craft is just the thing!

Halloween Ghost Craft

How to make a Halloween ghost craft

This upcycled craft is inexpensive to make and uses supplies you might already have  in your home. Even if you don’t use Tide Free & Clear Pods, you can purchase the laundry soap and use it while repurposing the container for this Halloween ghost craft.

Materials needed:

  • An empty, clean Free & Gentle Tide Pod container
  • Ghost eyes and mouth template – download and save it to use later
  • Black adhesive vinyl for the ghost’s face – you can also use black Sharpie, construction paper or an adhesive printer label
  • Liquid glue (if not using adhesive vinyl)– to attach the eyes and mouth onto the ghost head. I found that regular craft adhesive works well but you can also use Modge Podge and it looks great.
  • Scissors (if not using a vinyl cutting machine)

Instructions:

First remove the top from the container and discard. We won’t be using the lid for this project.

Next I removed the label from the laundry pods container by soaking in hot water until the label softens. Then I scraped the label off carefully, using GooGone to remove it completely.

Tip: You can also use a heat gun to warm the label but the ease of this option varies based on the brand. For instance, I found using a heat gun to be easy on Gain containers but difficult on Tide containers.

ghost craft materials

Once the container is ready, print out the ghost face template and cut out the pieces. Place the ghost face pieces on the back of the adhesive vinyl and trace them with a pencil. Cut out the pieces.

For a Cricut Halloween project, if you’re using a cutting machine, open the template in your software and trace the pieces. Cut the eyes and mouth out of the adhesive vinyl.

Peel the backing off the vinyl and apply the face pieces to the side of the container.

If you’re using colored paper, trace the shapes and cut them out. Apply glue to the pieces and place them on the side of the container.

If you’re using printable labels, print out the template, cut the pieces out and apply them.

If you are using a black permanent marker, use the ghost face cut out as a guide to trace your own face.

Can I use a different container?

Although I used a Tide Free & Clear soap container, you can substitute a different brand that’s white or use a colorful one like the orange Tide container. Perhaps turn it into a fun pumpkin or spray paint it white.

milk jug halloween ghost craft

Got milk? In our Halloween Hacks, we shared light up ghost crafts using a gallon milk jug for iSave A to Z. Just incorporate upcycled Christmas lights and you have a boo-tiful luminary. Don’t be afraid to get creative!

Ways to display your Halloween ghost craft

There are so many fun ways to display your ghost craft. You can place your ghost on a table or counter to set up as the perfect Halloween night scene. You might want to include other Halloween decorations like spiders, black cats, and witches hat bowls filled with candy for trick-or-treating.

This cute ghost would also be a great addition to your Halloween front porch décor with some pumpkins around him. Get a small hay bale from your local craft store and set up a spooky setting with spider webs that will impress your trick-or-treaters. Or use as fun Halloween lighting displaying up and down the staircase.

Ghost Template Printable

There are two formats you can get this FREE Ghost Template printable. Choose either a PNG for your Halloween Cricut Craft or download at a ghost PDF to use the ghost face as a template for tracing with a sharpie marker.

Once you purchase Etsy Digital Downloads the next thing you want to do is print a digital print. Follow these steps for how to download your digital files from your Etsy account and how to print digital art at Staples.

printing Etsy digital downloads

Do you feel like me? Going to the stationary store and customizing a digital print is a thing of the past. If you want to stay seated on your couch and have access to 1,000s of digital download prints follow me as I take you through the steps of finding, downloading, saving, and printing Etsy Digital Downloads.

Etsy Digital Files

Best Etsy Digital Downloads Frugal Coupon Living Shop

An Etsy digital download is any product that you purchase and download without a physical copy. This can come as a DOC, PDF, PNG, JPEG or even SVG file.

If you have made a purchase of digital files on Etsy, it is important to know where to find your print shop digital downloads. Guess what. You can’t download Etsy digital files on iPhone, iPad or Android app. Right now you cannot download a digital purchase through the Etsy app. However, after your purchase it is really easy to access Etsy digital downloads on a non-mobile desktop computer or using your mobile browser.

If you are purchasing digital files, I suggest having an Etsy account and not checking out as a guest. Digital files are available once your payment is confirmed. If you made your purchase online, give it a few minutes for your Paypal or credit card to process.

To access your digital downloads after purchase, in your Etsy account you will see a “View your files” link which goes to the Downloads page. Here, you can download all the files associated with your order. Look for the button, “download files.”

Etsy Digital Download Help

how to find my digital download on Etsy

With everything online, it is easy to run into trouble. Working off a major retailer like Etsy means there isn’t always someone available at the help desk. Let’s answer some digital files frequently asked questions for Etsy.

How do I know if I purchased a digital download?

If you’re unsure if you’ve purchased a Digital Item, you can always go back to the listing page. If it is a digital download, you should see an “Instant Download” message on the images for the item.

How to download Etsy digital files on iPhone, iPad, or Android App

Right now you cannot use the Etsy app to print or download Etsy digital files. Instead, access Etsy digital downloads on a non-mobile desktop computer or using your mobile browser.

How do I access Etsy digital files from my account?

To access your digital downloads from your Etsy account:

  1. Sign in to Etsy.com and go to Your account.
  2. Go to Purchases and reviews.
  3. Next to the order, select Download Files. This goes to the Downloads page for all the files attached to your order.

On the download page, you will see the Etsy digital download file size. Each digital product is a different size.

Once you have downloaded your digital files, you can take the next steps for printing as you would for any file on your computer.

I don’t have an Etsy account

Sigh. I get it. It is common to have the desire to checkout as a guest. If you are purchasing something like a digital file you want access to forever, check out with an Etsy account in the future.

The good thing, is you are not a lost cause. If you do not have an Etsy account you can download your digital files from your inbox. Look for an email from transaction@etsy.com in your inbox. Be sure to also check your spam or junk inbox and your social or promotions tabs.

Contact the Seller

If you continue to have trouble with your Etsy digital downloads, you can contact the seller using Etsy Messages. Supply the email address you used for purchase as well as the order number (if you have it.) I would also be helpful to tell the seller the product you purchased and the time and day. This will allow the Etsy seller to quickly access your order and confirm your purchase.

How do I print Etsy Digital downloads

Once you have accessed your Etsy digital downloads save them to your computer. Then next thing you will want to do is set up your printer to print digital downloads.

If you do not have a office or home printer to print a digital print, there are other solutions for where to print digital art and get quality prints. Once you have downloaded the file, you can simply upload the file to the printer of your choice, or transfer the file to an external drive and take it into your local print shop.

Get those small hands crafting. These Dr. Seuss Activities for preschool create some of the cutest crafts for kids. Of course they can be applied to kindergarten, homeschool, and other aged children. From Cat in the Hat to the Lorax, let’s get ready to create some of the most adorable Dr. Seuss Crafts.

Dr. Seuss Activities for Preschool

While Arts & Crafts are often looked at as a fun preschool activity, they actually have huge importance on the development of preschoolers. Most arts and crafts activities consist of moving fingers and hands, developing fine motor skills, muscles strength and the improvement of control. They also include decision making and understanding the purpose of scissors, glue placement, shapes that come together to create a larger picture. Blending crafts can also take place with creating a love of early literacy using many popular and well-loved children’s books.

Who is Dr. Seuss?

Dr. Seuss is a famous writer and cartoonist who published over 60 Children’s books. He was born in 1904 and died in 1991, but with his death was not lost the enjoyment of his beloved books. Dr. Seuss books are a great way to introduce stories, new vocabulary and a little silly humor into the young minds of preschoolers.

Popular Dr. Seuss Books for Preschoolers

  • The Cat in the Hat

  • Green Eggs and Ham

  • Oh, The Places You’ll Go

  • How the Grinch Stole Christmas

  • One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

  • Fox in Socks

  • The Lorax

Dr. Seuss Day

Dr. Seuss Day is every March 2nd. It’s Dr. Seuss’s Birthday but is also Read Across America Day, a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually. During this date, preschools, schools and libraries honor the children’s author Dr. Seuss and the importance of early literacy.

Where to Buy Dr. Seuss Books Cheap

When looking for cheap Dr. Seuss books, there are a number of places to start. First, nothing is cheaper than free. You can find free Dr. Seuss books from the library and checking them on on loan. Return when you class is done with the readings. Another idea is putting a request out into the internet. A great place to look for used Dr. Seuss Books is in a local Buy Nothing Group. Facebook is a good place to start.

If you strike out at both the library and an online forum, try to locate used books at BetterWorldBooks. I suggest ordering well ahead of the date of your lesson. If you want new Dr. Seuss Books cheap, try Amazon but buy in a set (not individually.) This Dr. Seuss Beginner Book includes many of Dr. Seuss most popular books including…

    • Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat Comes Back

Best Adult Drinking Games for a Beer Tasting Party

A good party is all about having fun and drinking beer. After all, beer is the most popular alcoholic beverage in the world! Without it there would be no adult parties or drinking games to enjoy. In this blog post we will discuss some of the best beer drinking games you can play at your next party that are sure to make everyone have a great time!

What is a Beer Tasting Party?

A beer tasting party is a gathering where everyone brings a type of beer to share. These are often planned by people who want to explore the tastes and styles of different types of beers.

In order for this event not to be too tough on anyone’s taste buds, it is best if there are a variety of different kinds available so that guests can sample them all without worrying about not liking the few that were offered by one host.

When hosting a cheers & beers party, download a beer tasting notes PDF. Compare colors, clarity, aroma, flavor, appearance, mouthfeel and more. You can even give it a score of one to five stars beers.

What Are Some Drinking Games To Play At A Beer Tasting Party?

Gather up your supplies and plan some fun drinking games to entertain your party guests. Some beer party games include:

I’m Going to a Bar– A new take on the childhood game, “Going on a Bear Hunt” players sit in a circle and take turns saying different drinks that they would get from the bar. Each person repeats the list and adds another drink to the list.

Charades– A boozy spin on the classic game, write down funny actions or things that will get your guests acting and laughing.
