Winning Car Hacks for Moms

If you are an on the go mother like me, the car probably feels like your second home. I feel as though I am constantly picking up, dropping off, taking here, and going there.  Having an unkept space, just gives me anxiety. I hate trash around, I hate messes, and I hate clutter. In fact, using the word hate (which I hate) means I REALLY dislike it and I am always looking for hacks and tips to make my car space more family friendly and thus pleasing to me – the mom!

Take a look at these winning car hacks and tips for mom, we don’t think you will be disappointed!

First, going on a long car ride. Keep the kids entertained without using electronics and with the use of little to no supplies. Download these 12 games for the car. Set includes kids car games with instructions, conversation cards, road trip scavenger hunt and conversation cards for the Family.

Two things I keep in the front seat area are my Clorox Wipes and Paper Towels. People always need napkins, so I toss back the roll, and I use Clorox wipes to wipe down the inside of the car while I am pumping gas or briefly the dashboard at a red light. My two year old car look brand new. That’s saying a lot for it being the primary mode of transportation for five kids!

Both these Paper Towels and Clorox Disinfecting Wipes are on my Subscribe and Save list. Viva Paper Towels are the best, they are really soft and not rough on hands or the face.

What is Elf on the Shelf?

Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas Tradition. The tradition has a book and a elf doll. The book is poetic and in rhyme sharing the purpose of the Elf’s visits. The Elf visits each Thanksgiving. He/She goes and returns from the North Pole each evening. Every morning he can be found in a new location in the house. The Elf has been found in the refrigerator, fishing in the toilet, writing messages on the mirror or hanging from the lights. It is VERY IMPORTANT, the Elf is not touch each evening or his Christmas magic will be lost! Each family is able to name their special elf. The elves return to their home (Santa’s North Pole Work shop) every Christmas Eve. An Elf’s Story can also be found on DVD
