Homemade Disney World Mickey Mouse pretzels. This copycat recipe is just like the salty dough snack you have at your favorite theme park.

Since we left Florida in 2015, I realize how much I took advantage of Disney World. It was a set of theme parks I went to almost every summer when growing up. I never had huge earning to go, but when we did go it was a huge treat. I never understood how family or friends (from other states) found it such a big family vacation to go. After all, we could just hop in the car and be at the Disney gates in a mater of hours. Now that I live in DC, I realize I took this park for granted. I am a mom of five and I dream of the day I can take my entire family to the Magic Kingdom. I want them to experience Space Mountain, to get wet white going down a surprise drop in splash mountain, and to experience all the treats I had while growing up – like Mickey Mouse Pretzels.

Are you a fan of Mickey Mouse Pretzels? These beloved theme park snacks were found originally at California’s Disneyland but have not made it to parks in Florida including the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and Disney’s water parks including Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. If you don’t have one of these theme parks in your backyard, we are happy to share our easy, three-ingredient, Mickey Mouse Pretzels. These are perfect if you are hosting a Disney party, make sure to pair with this dessert Chocolate Covered Mickey OREOs.

This recipe makes four Mickey Pretzels.

Ingredients:

Copycat Disney World Mickey Mouse Pretzels

16 ounces of premade pizza dough
2 tablespoons of butter, melted
Sea salt

Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the pizza dough so it lies flat and then cut into long strips.
Pull and shape a long strip of dough into a circle.
Shape 2 smaller strips of dough into circles and attach to the top of the first big circle to create Mickey ears. Repeat.
Brush the pretzels with melted butter.
Sprinkle on sea salt.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

These directions are pretty simple. After you have your three ingredients, premade pizza dough, melted butter, and sea salt, your step by step directions are pretty simple. Add as much or as little salt as you want. You can also add butter, cheese dip or ranch dressing for dipping. Enjoy!

What is Elf on the Shelf?

Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas Tradition. The tradition has a book and a elf doll. The book is poetic and in rhyme sharing the purpose of the Elf’s visits. The Elf visits each Thanksgiving. He/She goes and returns from the North Pole each evening. Every morning he can be found in a new location in the house. The Elf has been found in the refrigerator, fishing in the toilet, writing messages on the mirror or hanging from the lights. It is VERY IMPORTANT, the Elf is not touch each evening or his Christmas magic will be lost! Each family is able to name their special elf. The elves return to their home (Santa’s North Pole Work shop) every Christmas Eve. An Elf’s Story can also be found on DVD.

My Bible study has grown and sometimes it’s hard to think of something creative and cute without spending an arm and leg. I was trying to come up with something creative for my girls, without baking (the holidays add enough calories) and this gift tag came to mind. Of course, there is nothing exciting over the gift of paper towels, but I love the pun and the message for the season!

Not many supplies are needed for this gift. First, I subscribe and save on Amazon to Bounty Paper towels. So these paper towel rolls were actually something I already had – that reminds me, I need to order MORE for our family! I needed 13 rolls to gift to my bible study girls and my leader.

I used twine that I keep in my gift wrapping drawers. Curling ribbon could be cute too. What about this black and white check ribbon?

You will also need our free printable. I give the link to that printable below as well as how to order your printable online so it is printed in the store – save on ink and paper. We got our gift tags for under $1.

Bible Study Christmas Gift Tag Directions

Get your paper towel rolls. We like the wrapper off the roll. Tie your ribbon around the roll of paper. Cut your gift tags out and use a hole punch to punch a hole at the top. Thread your ribbon through and tie off your ribbon with a bow. Gift to your girls!

I like to order my prints at Staples. It saves on ink and is only a few short miles from my home. I pick-up at the store, but of course you can upload them online and then have them shipped to your home.

To Order Your Printables at Staples for Under $1*:

Download and save your image from this post. (Please note these images are for personal use only and cannot be sold or used for commercial use.)
Sign in or create a Staples account on their print service page.
Return to Staples print service page.
Go to Start Project.
Go to Documents Printing.
Select the Buy Now Button under color.
On the left column, select your file.
Select upload.
Select done.
Give your job a name.
Make sure your project is single sided. The orientation should be portrait.
I changed my media to 8.5×10 and the media to 67 lb coverstock (I prefer a cardstock feel over printer paper feel.)
Select add to cart.
Proceed to checkout. My total was $0.17 for one print. You can choose to ship to your home or to pick up at your local store. Pay online and show your invoice when you pick up (I just show the order number on my phone at pick-up.) The order invoice will arrive in your email inbox.

We are very excited to share this free printable with you! It’s a cute way to make a portrait for your elf! Your kids can get involved.

Elf on the Shelf Portrait with Perler Beads Printable Template: This is a fun little project. Either crate the elf yourself. You could lay out the Perler Beads and then leave a note asking your child to find the iron and help mom/dad crate a finished elf. Or you could have elf deliver the free template we are offering, and your child can find a craft-tastic Saturday and make this cute little Elf on the Shelf Portrait themselves. Both ideas provides smiles and joy!

Supplies:

Elf on the Shelf or Elf on the Shelf Boy Girl Set
Mixed bag of Perler beads (tan, red, blue, white, brown and light brown)
Large square pegboard
Perler Ironing paper
Iron
Perler Beads tweezers (optional)

Directions:

1. Start off by printing your free Elf on the Shelf Portrait with Perler Beads Printable Template to lay next to you while your craft.
2. Use your large square pegboard to start your making the elf design.
3. Use the tweezers to pick up your beads, starting with the 4 tan beads on the bottom and work your way up to the top of the face.
4. Now add in the brown beads for hair and 2 rows of white beads on top of the hair for the hat rim.
5. Add on the red beads for the hat and white beads on the bottom for the collar.
6. Now you can leave the beads on the board with elf next to it and leave a note from Elf with directions to complete the Elf with a parent as an activity in the morning when they find it.
7. Carefully place a piece of ironing paper over the top of your elf and iron on a dry setting for about 20 seconds (make sure to turn the iron off).
8. Let cool completely then peel your bead design off.
