If you loved our Buffalo Ranch Quesadillas, you will love this slow cooker dip recipe. Tangy, creamy with a kick of spice this is the perfect dip for veggies, chips or even to top nachos with. We love that it cooks in the crockpot so after the quick pre-prep, just toss it in and it’ll be done by game time!

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts or thighs
  • 3 oz buffalo chicken sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese (half a container)
  • 4 oz ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 to 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Place the buffalo chicken sauce and chicken breasts in a small pan and heat over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, turning the chicken once while cooking.
  2. Remove from heat and meanwhile, assemble the cream cheese, dressing, and celery and place in your crockpot.
  3. Shred the cooled chicken and add it, along with the buffalo chicken sauce, to the crockpot.
  4. Heat on slow for 2 hours to ensure chicken finishes cooking.
  5. Stir in your cheese just before serving.
  6. Serve warm alongside chips or vegetables.

Talented, engaging, captivating. There only so many words you can use to describe Disney on Ice but to sum up their 100 years of Magic, nothing describes it better than the word Magical!

Celebrate the legacy of Disney in this ice skating spectacular as Mouse-ter of Ceremonies Mickey Mouse leads a parade of characters including Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and an ensemble of Disney Princesses. Be dazzled by the magic of Disney’s Frozen with Anna, Elsa and the hilarious Olaf. Sing along to more than 30 of your favorite Disney songs including “Leg It Go!,” “You’ve Got A Friend in Me,” and “Hakuna Matata.” Exciting moments from Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story and Finding Nemo, and Disney’s The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and more will leave the whole family with memories that will last a lifetime.

Our family has been to other Disney shows in the past, even many times to DIsney World. Maybe because we were in Florida, we have never been to a show on ice. In fact, if you ever put on on ice, it would be quite the scene. I was really surprised how talented the skaters were! You could tell they had more than a couple years of training. I overheard another individual say that many of them were collegiate skaters who went on to perform with Disney after graduation. I don’t know this to be true, but I would believe it.

A Magical Evening with Disney on Ice and my Elsa and Merida.

Before the show, our family had a chance to go back state and meat Mickey and Minnie as well as decorate some festive and fun Halloween pumpkins. The girls ate popcorn and delicious sugar cookie Mickeys. After our pre-party, we went to the show. The numbers included pieces (with our favorite songs) from Mulan, Nemo, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and everyone’s most recent favorite – Frozen. We (and the rest of the audience) sang Let it Go, You’ve Got a Friend in Me, Summer, and many more musical hits.

If you are looking for an engaging show for you kids, this is the show. My girls were engaged the entire time and we never heard a cry of boredom. It’s on our holiday bucket list every year!
