Does anyone have envy over celebrity hair. I know many of these stars do not just roll out of bed and look amazing. There are tips, tricks and secrets.

Today on Facebook, I scrolled through this from The Today Show and I had to know more. Apparently, celebrities are turning to Hair Masks.

The article explains:

“Hair masks are intense conditioners that have more fatty acids and lipids in them which can return moisture to the hair and help protect it,” explains James Corbett, celebrity hairstylist of James Corbett Studio in New York City and color director for Clairol. “When the hair is healthy, the cuticle stays closed, which means less frizz and your color looks better because light reflects off your hair. Masks can help repair what styling and the environment takes out.”

I wanted to share with you a few of the top sellers. They explain the more pricey items contain oils that others to do. I planned to go with a middle of the road product – I want to save but also to not spend money on a product that is a waste. Which do you plan to try.

If you are a lover of Girl Scout Cookies, and Do Si Do’s in particular you will love this healthier and protein packed alternative to downing half a box of cookies! Have it for breakfast. a pre workout snack, or as your dessert! Peanut butter, vanilla, and a hint of chocolate combine to create a creamy, delicious cookie flavor favorite, the Do-Si-Do’s. Need a little something to sweeten the deal? Skip the processed white sugar and use some honey.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup of Almond Milk
1 scoop Juice Plus+ Complete French Vanilla Powder
frozen cubes plain Greek Yogurt*
1 Tbsp. creamy Peanut Butter
1 ½ tsp. cocoa powder
optional: honey

Directions:

Place all ingredients in blender and mix until smooth and creamy. If desired add honey a tsp. at a time to sweeten. Serve in a frosted glass.

*I like to use frozen yogurt in place of ice to create my smoothies this will keep your drink from getting watered down and losing flavor. Fill ice cube trays with yogurt and pop in freezer, once frozen transfer to a zip top freezer bag. Use a sharpie to write yogurt and the date. These can be used as a base for any flavor!

Healthy Tips: This recipe is for a serving. Multiply as needed! These are all done easily in the blender. Almond milk can be replaced with any kind of milk, including soy, coconut or rice milk.

Ingredients

Scale

3/4 cup of Almond Milk
1 scoop Juice Plus+ Complete French Vanilla Powder
frozen cubes plain Greek Yogurt*
1 Tbsp. creamy Peanut Butter
1 ½ tsp. cocoa powder

Cook Mode Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

Place all ingredients in blender and mix until smooth and creamy.
If desired add honey a tsp. at a time to sweeten.
Serve in a frosted glass.
