Copycat Southern Tartar Sauce
In the south we LOVE some good Southern Tartar Sauce! Whether you’re dipping your hushpuppies in it or your fish flanks, tartar sauce is that slightly sweet and tangy dip that you’re looking for. You can slather it on a fish fillet sandwich too. However you enjoy your tartar sauce, we agree that this one is the best! Your kids will even love it for dipping their chicken strips in! Here’s a tip too, you can mix it with shredded cabbage and make coleslaw dressing, in a pinch.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp finely diced Onions
- 2 tbsp Sweet Pickle Relish
- 1 tbsp minced Carrots
- 1 tbsp Sugar
Directions:
- Combine ingredients and mix well.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Ingredients
