Amen to that! #encouragement #timehop

“God’s original, very best plan might have been plan A. However, God can take our life circumstances that created plan B and make it better than plan A could have ever been had plan A worked!” Joyce Meyer

A year ago and again a few weeks ago on Instagram I shared with you this quote from Joyce Meyer. Those words could not ring truer-than-true in my life and I know in the testimony of many of you – we truly don’t always take the course God has planned but if we surrender to Him, He still has the ability to write a beautiful story.

Joyce Meyer and some other Godly authors have kept me moving my entire life, especially the last 3 years. I walked a journey I never planned for my life. As you likely already know from my last post Who is Ashley, I am a single mom and I kept most of that removed from the blog. Frugal Coupon Living was about Couponing, Kids Crafts, Recipes, Fashion, Online Shopping – not about myself as it once had been. I mentioned in this last post, I was hoping to get back to the basics of the author behind the blog – Ashley.

I gave you hope in my last post. My plan A (as Joyce Meyer describes in her quote above) didn’t work out, but I am so excited to begin plan B.

I-said-yes

You might have seen one major change taking place in my life on Instagram and Facebook – this past weekend, I SAID YES! I have been blessed with an amazing man, a “boy” I actually grew up with many years ago in church youth group. Who would have thought that adorable guy across from the church room would one day be my fiance/husband? It’s so funny to think of the man then and now – two different people. Does anyone else have something similar?

I want to thank you all for your well social media wishes, love and support. I look forward to sharing more of me (and us) on my journey ahead. Make sure you are following me on Instagram!
