Create a meteorologist Elf.
Supplies
- An Elf
- Elf weather printable (see below)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Printer
- Printer Paper
Instructions
Using our weather printable, print out the weather chart (see below.) Cut apart the pieces
Have your little guy deliver it to your child one evening. Hang the chart beside the Christmas Elf.
In the morning your child will see this weather chart.
Talk to them about the observations they see outside and help them use glue or tape to add today’s weather to the weather map.
Write down the high and low.

Do this weather report for one day or keep a running list of weather for the month.
Take it Further
For a few extra ideas for this Elf idea, consider the following.
- Take National Weather Service just for kids station to extend the lesson.
- Use a drink umbrella and Barbie raincoat for a fun weather
