Our One-Pot Steak Lettuce Wraps were quite exciting, so much so, that we felt excited to share another recipe from our newest eBook: One-Pot Meals.

We worked hard and we are finally bringing you something we think you will be really proud of – ten, totally awesome One-Pot Meals for you and your family. Next up is our One Pan Jambalaya. This tasty recipe is a rice and meat explosion of flavor and taste. For this recipe, we pick up Walker & Sons Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning – oh my goodness, it’s tasty! The meal was a delight to make and even more fun gobbling it up!

I mentioned earlier our new lifestyle with a focus on Whole30 Recipes. We went through 30 days of no sugar and starches that were limited. Since then, I do have the occasional cheat day but when I do, I like to stay in line with my new lifestyle. If I can keep my meals in check, then I can indulge in a dessert or treat when I need. Our One Pan Jambalaya has chicken and sausages but also chilies and tomatoes. If you wanted to toss in peppers, any color would be great!

To get us started, we couldn’t resist telling you about these Steak Lettuce Wraps. With two of our favorite ingredients, avocado and peppers and a dash of cow as the center. The meal is perfected in an individual portioned light and refreshing lettuce wraps. I mean, these ingredients leave you plenty of room to have a slice of pizza for dinner #2, or just indulge in that ice cream after your meal without all the added guilt.

Since January, we have invested in a lot of Whole30 Recipes in our home. With this new lifestyle (I won’t dare call it a diet – it’s not), I am doing a lot of cooking in the home. I have three kids. One under 6 months, and two girls and elementary school. Between carrying for a baby and making sure we make it to after school activities and accomplish homework, I need the easiest solution for food on the table – that was the goal of this One-Pot Meal eBook. The girls are also pretty obsessed with Taco Tuesday, so anything in a shell (even if leafy and green) can count as our Taco Tuesday meal!

It’s another Frugal Fashion Friday Outfit. The weather is getting warmer (okay, well we can all pretend) and spring weddings are upon us. Right now, the cut off shoulder look is in.
