Kitchen Tips:

Tackle a little each day: Don’t set a day to deep clean the kitchen, set aside 10 minutes each day. After all, this is the area of the home you frequent the most. It’s also the area that gets the most activity. Even though  in the evenings I wear the roll of cook, homework helper, bath giver, and more, I give the kitchen to myself assigning everyone else the other home tasks. This allows me to have the most control and to keep the area the best maintained. With ten minutes set aside each day, this equates for over an hour in the kitchen a week keeping it clean and running.

Keep clutter away: One thing that makes the kitchen look the worse, is clutter on the countertops. Anything that you can put away (coffee pots, juicers, mixers, knife set, etc) helps the area look cleaner and better kept. This also bring a sense of organization and leaves rooms for things like candles  and flowers which can immediately give a feeling of relaxation!
