Rainbow JELL-O Ribbon Squares Recipe

Looking to celebrate an event – this Ribbon Rainbow JELL-O is great for a party, St. Patrick’s day, a summer or spring break treat – you name it! A rainbow might be a meteorological phenomenon, but there is no natural miracle going on in the kitchen in your home with this EASY step-by-step tutorial for a rainbowlicious dessert sure to please!

Ingredients:

1 box Red Gelatin
1 box Orange Gelatin
1 box Yellow Gelatin
1 box Green Gelatin
1 box Blue Gelatin
1 8oz Cool Whip

Pin to Pinterest

Directions:

Prepare an 11 x 13 pan with cooking spray.
Add 1 cup boiling water to package of blue Jell-O. Stir until dissolved.
Pour 2/3 cup gelatin into pan and place in refrigerator to set (about 20 minutes).
Add Cool Whip to remaining mixture to bring level up to 2/3 cup. Stir until Cool Whip melts and color is blended.
Gently pour on top of set gelatin and place in refrigerator to set (15-20 minutes).
Repeat this process with green, yellow, orange and red gelatins.
Allow to set for 2 hours before cutting and serving.

Homemade Copycat Cheez-It Recipe

Can your family go through a boxof Cheeze-It snacks as quickly as my home? How about bringing this copycat homemade recipe to your kitchen and create these cheesey delicious crackers for a quick and easy bite.

Ingredients:

8 oz Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 tbsp cold Butter cut into small pieces
2 tbsp Shortening
1 tsp Kosher or Sea Salt
1 cup Flour
2 tbsp Ice Cold Water

Directions:

Blend the cheese, butter, shortening and salt together on medium low speed in a stand mixer or with a hand mixer.
Add the flour and mix on low to incorporate (the dough willl be dry).
Slowly add the water just until the dough comes together in a lump.
Form into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour.
Preheat oven to 375.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Flour your work area and roll out the dough very thin (less than 1/8″).
Use a pastry cutter to cut into 1″ squares and use a skewer or toothpick to put a hole in the center of each.
Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until light brown at the edges.
Transfer to a cooling rack and allow to cool.
