That means that it is time to look back on the year and reflect before leaping ahead into the new one. Should auld acquaintance be forgotAnd never brought to mind?

What does that New year’s Eve Auld Lang Syne song mean anyways? The exact Scottish translation is old long since. It’s not a common phrases to English speakers. In essence, it means “old long since,” or to the “olden days.”

Instead good New Year questions and answers create reflection and discussion among those sitting in the room. A good question might take minutes or even a half hour to answer as you go to down the rabbit hole of reflection and redirection.

We put together a list of 68 good NYE questions. These New Year’s Eve conversation starters are one such tradition that the whole family can enjoy. You can use these conversation starters year after year as a fun way to help friends and family reflect on the year that has passed. All of the conversation starters in this free printable set are family-friendly. If you don’t have children, or your gathering does not include children, don’t worry these conversation starters are still perfect for New Year’s reflections for any age group.

So how do you use the New Year’s Eve conversation starters? Simple, just print them out onto some cardstock or printer paper, and cut them out. “Will you make any New Year’s Eve resolutions? What do you intend on doing differently next year?”

“How can you redesign your mornings to begin your days better?”
“How would you like to spend your free time differently next year?”
“What was your single biggest challenge this past year?”
