One of my favorite pieces of art work in my kids room is a series of hand prints I have of them growing up. The first is just my hand and my older child’s hand, the second is the hand of myself, my eldest and my youngest girls. The girls and I put together a canvas print for their bedroom. I actually have two. One when my eldest daughter was younger (just her and I), then one of both daughters and I.

The kit we used is found on Amazon in blue or pink – grab the Pearhead Baby and Me Handprint Canvas Kit, Pink Elephant for $18.65.

I like the Winsor Newton 8-Inch by 10-Inch Artists Quality Stretched Canvas for the low price of $4.79 as an add-on item from $29.94 Please read the reviews. The low stars are because people were expecting 6 canvases and got one.

I used DecoArt DASK279 Crafter’s Acrylics Home Décor Brights Sample Pack for $16.29. I am not sure how safe it is for a child’s hands, so please wash hands well and follow all directions on the bottle.
