Raspberry Chia Smoothie Bowl
I was never a breakfast person until I married my husband. Now, I can not advance forward throughout the day without something heavy in my belly. Often this was a sloppy bagel topped with bacon, egg and cheese but more recently, I have been watching what I have been putting in my gut, after all, this food is the jump start to my day! This Raspberry Chia Smoothie Bowl is so easy and good. Consider adding in a touch of powdered fiber and a touch of flax oil.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 banana, sliced
- ¼ cup oats
- 2 tbsps maple syrup
- 1 ½ cup frozen raspberries
- ½ cup chia seeds
Directions:
- In a blender add the milk, banana, oats and,
- Pulse until creamy.
- Add 1 cup frozen raspberries and the maple syrup.
- Pulse and add more maple syrup if desired.
- Serve into bowls.
- Decorate with the remaining raspberries and chia seeds.
Enjoy.
Tips: Try adding some coconut milk for a tropical kick.
