Valentine Peeps Pops on a Stick

Does anyone else get frustrated by cake pops? They always seem to collapse and fall apart on me, I would love a tip on how to keep them togehter. I love the simplicity of these Peeps Pops as an alternative to the traditional pops on a stick. This is a simple tutorial and you can give them out as valentines, use them as decorations or share them at a class party. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg Peeps Hearts
  • 12 oz White Melting Chips
  • 9 Lollipop Sticks
  • Valentine Candy Decorations

Directions:

  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate hearts and insert sticks.
  3. Place in freezer for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat chocolate by microwaving for 1 minute, stirring and repeating until melted.
  5. Dip hearts in chocolate and spoon over top to cover completely.
  6. Place on prepared tray and place in refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  7. Use a knife to trim any excess runoff from hearts.
  8. Dip again in chocolate and return to prepared tray.
  9. Decorate with candy before chocolate sets.
  10. Return to refigerator for 10 minutes.
  11. Use a knife to trim any excess runoff from hearts.

Enjoy!
