I have become a recent fan of mineral makeup. I noticed about a year ago when I got my first feel, that it does an amazing job of hiding flaws but still keep my face looking like it is free of much make up – in other words, very natural. My experience with mineral make up has been more of trying it out and not necessarily knowing the “science” behind it.

Recently, I was given the Mineral Hygienics challenge. Mineral Hygienics asked me to go online and choose my color pallet. There were six color choices to choose from and I went with the medium. I loved that each color had a celebrity of comparison so I could tell where my best color choice would be. When I got the make up, I was pleased with a few things 1.) The brushes – I believe in good quality brushes for make up. It makes all the difference. 2.) The arrangement of colors for blending, seasonal change, and darkening certain areas (places you face should look sun kissed , i.e. your forehead, cheeks, etc.) 3.) The feel – this make up was weightless! The make-up looked great, even my husband commented. It also wasn’t greasy, was easy to apply, and was still on end of the day. I can say, that I did run into a problem, though. I felt the color was light for my skin. When I spoke with the contact, I had two additional colors sent my way so that my face was not so pale
