What is the Neilsen Homescan Panel?

The Homescan Consumer Panel is a “mini-U.S.A.”, representing millions of Americans. You are the participant, you add to the stats of our nation! By scanning the bar codes on your purchases and completing fun surveys, you can make your opinions count in the consumer marketplace. Nielsen will send you a scanner to scan your products and in turn you received valuable gift points that are redeemable for electronics, household items, jewelry, toys and lots more!

The rewards are found in points. By signing up you earn 1,000 points. By scanning items each week, you are entered into weekly giveaways and Sweepstakes where you can win LARGE value prizes. There are monthly and quarterly giveaways as well. You also earn points towards rewards.

What do the Points Give Me?

Earn 150 points for uploading your buys, 100 for the survey on the store for where you shopped. If you shop at many stores a week, multiply the number of stores for which you shop by 250 in points! The longer you are a member, your points for scans increase. You’ll earn gift points that are redeemable for name-brand merchandise, including electronics equipment, jewelry, household items, toys, and much more.
