Back when I was in college I worked at Dillard’s (not so long ago). It was there I would see returns to for the JanSport backpacks. I recall the first few times grabbing a manager unsure what to do with these dirty backpacks that looked to be 5 year+ old being returned to me (damaged) with out a receipt, and the customer asking for a replacement. I thought for sure the customer had to be mistaken by their assumption that I was suppose to hand them a “new” JanSport backpack with no questions asked. Yet, that is exactly what took place – every time!
Who knows if that would still work today!? I did confirm that JanSport is the same company that I recalled from my days in college, and still offers products and the guarantee that comes with a purchase!
