This month, Christian Audio’s FREEBIE is Hannah Coulter by Wendell Berry, a novel set in an 1800′s Kentucky farming community.

In the latest installment in Wendell Berry’s long story about the citizens of Port William, Kentucky, readers learn of the Coulters’ children, of the Feltners and Branches, and how survivors “live right on.”

“Ignorant boys, killing each other,” is just about all Nathan Coulter would tell his wife about the Battle of Okinawa in the spring of 1945. Life carried on for the community of Port William, Kentucky, as some boys returned from the war while the lives of others were mourned. In her seventies, Nathan’s wife, Hannah, now has time to tell of the years since the war.

On Amazon, this is priced $21.58 and has a lot of good reviews.

It does say for new customers only; but I have had no problem placing many orders from this company all using Groupons.  They do not ship to all 50 states, so check to make sure your state is included.

 

One Idea: I posted this idea a few days ago but a few of you said the sampler could not be purchased with the Groupon. If it can, consider this deal. Purchase the Wine Insiders has a 6-bottle sample pack for $35.94 + $.01 shipping and it comes with a FREE Stainless Steel corkscrew ($10 value).  When you buy the Sampler with the Groupon Voucher code the price goes up to around $60; but the $75 Groupon still covers that, so it’s FREE. You just end up losing what is left but getting 6 bottles of wine + a cork screw for ONLY $25 out of pocket shipped to your house.  Or, you can select whatever you would like.  I just like that deal!
