Well folks, let’s be honest. HOPEFULLY this is as close and personal as you ever get to me (my blog wasn’t intended for that) but in time for the holiday season and your dazzling smile, I wanted to share with you a review of Smile Brillant Teeth Whitening Kits.

I am sure the first think you noticed when scrolling through these posts was my smile. Yep, it’s big and bright and out there and definitely ready to mingle at the upcoming Christmas gathers I have on my calendar.

First, I am very sensitive to products in my mouth. I hate the dentists and am very selective over toothpaste (sometimes I consider Sensodyne.)  I have never had braces, I do not have cavities and I made it pretty lucky in the teeth department. I decided to go ahead and try the Custom Teeth Whitening Trays. I loved that these were custom fit to your mouth. When you receive your kit you mix a putty and form a mold to your teeth. This mold dries within minutes and you ship your mold out for a custom fit tray. I got mine mold back in about 7 to 10 days.  I have had kits before where you boil water and shape a mold to your teeth. I was only able to use those kits once as I felt as if i was a football player with a giant mouth guard in my mouth. The misshapen mold also allowed bleach to seep to my gums and that hurts!

My kit has a syringe for desensitizing. I would put the first gel in my trays and wear it in my mouth first. It fit comfortably on my teeth and I was amazing what a perfect fit it was. After desensitizing was done, I went to the whitening gel. I did three treatments. The first treatment was fine, the second I had some touch my gums and it hurt and the third was fine again but I was not able to keep them in as long.

All in all, I am glad I did this kit. I felt good about my smile and it was something I was able to do from the comfort of my home. I am grateful to have my custom mouth piece and plan to use another syringe (3 treatments) before another big event.
