The Elf on the Shelf Company does sell Boy Elf on the Shelf Kits and Girl Elf on the Shelf Kits. This lets you customize what your family prefers. We have done both boy an girl as we had an age gap between our older and younger kids. It was easy to do the switch.
There are similar traditional Elf dolls on Amazon, like this Red and White Stripe Elf and this soft Plushee Elf on the shelf boy and girl Elf – isn’t he a cute Santa’s helper?! This year we even got a Baby Elf to go with our Elf on the Shelf.
